Dec 20, 2012I just installed Photo shop 6 and now when I close out I get a DDE Server Error, how can this be fixed?

Photoshop :: DDE Server... Memory Could Not Be Read Error
Dec 17, 2008I recently installed CS4 and when I quit Photoshop CS4 I get a "DDE Server... memory could not be 'read'" error. I've looked all over the forums for solutions to this, tried deleting my preferences file, reinstalling CS4, and fiddling with performance options, but nothing seems to make a change. I never had much trouble with CS2 or CS3.

Jan 19, 2013Just upgraded to Photoshop Elements 11 on a x64 Dell running Win7. When trying to share photos using Flickr (which worked previously), I get the following:
I've tried resetting accounts in Adobe Partner Services, Clearing Online Service Data, and refreshing the list of services - but makes no difference.

Photoshop :: CS5.1 64Bit Update / Error Message U41M1C212 - Server Isn't Responding
Jul 23, 2012I updated my CS5.1 to 64bit when I upgraded my OS to Win 7. Now when I check for updates I get an error message U41M1C212 - server isn't responding. I checked firewalls and IE settings - both seem ok. I downloaded the latest update plugin but I get a message that mine is newer (and bigger) than it.

Continue Button.
Hitting continue does nothing and the application just hangs on the video export progress bar.I've attempted to export several types of PSD files to video, some old, some new (made in CS6) and I always get this error. I have reset Photoshops preferences. I have uninstalled the entire CS6 suite and reinstalled it.
On a whim I decided to reinstall PS CS5 and try to export from there. Worked like a charm. Was able to export video from my PSDs like before.I am currently running:

Mar 24, 2013I have a small render farm of about 6 computers running Backburner for a Max Design 2013 animation. After working fine last week, one particular computer is not able to run Server, although all the rest of the computers seem to work fine. On Server startup, the error message is:

Oct 16, 2012I have downloaded Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign from the Creative Cloud. When I try to open the app, I get an error that tells me "Cannot find the server "NDC-DiskStation" (my server name)" I've contacted Adobe about 5 times they keep sending me to Apple, which always sends me back to Adobe. I can open my app when I am connected to my server at my office, but cannot open it when not connected. However, I downloaded the app while not connected to my MacBookPro lap top.

Mar 28, 2013I am trying to replace an unresolved standard part with a component from a custom content center in a stand-alone installation. I get this error message:
"There was a problem encountered while communicating with the server. Please check the network connection and server status."
I can place the same component from the content center. The content center component family was created as "save to" from an ANSI standard.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Error / This File Is Not Found On Any Server In Replicated Environment
Aug 27, 2009When I try to place this ipart, I get an error saying "The server returned the following information: This file is not found on any server in the replicated environment". This child part is already in vault. I tried to delete the child from Vault and I thought that I would just re-generate it. But, when I try to delete the file from Vault, I am given a restriction, but no explanation.
What can I do to get this back in sync with vault?
This is using Vault 2010.

CorelDRAW X4 :: Failed To Launch Server Application / Error When Calling Edit Bitmap - Function
Jun 5, 2008URL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.
AutoCAD LT :: Why DWG On Server Not Locked After Copying Local DWL To Server
Mar 12, 2012I copy a .dwg to my remote computer and open it. Then .dwl and .dwl2 are created in same local folder as the .dwg I just opened localy. Then I copy the local .dwl and .dwl2 files back to the remote server in the same location I received the origional .dwg from. Why are those files not locked now from everybody on the network that I am remotly away from?

Jun 9, 2011complete Corel X4 uninstall 3 times already .... even went so far as to reboot the registry to a date before I installed Corel X4 Suite to no avail.
The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems

Jun 16, 2008I'm running Photoshop Elements 5.0. Everything was working fine til this mornin. I've had the program for about a year now. When I tried to open it this morning I got this error message that popped up.
It says:
Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.
I've tried repairing the program. That didn't work. Restarted my computer. That didn't work. Uninstalled the program and tried opening it again. That didn't work. I'm at a loss! I really need to get into my program b/c my work is there. I tried opening some of my files (they are located in my Pictures folder) and they pop up with the same message.

Jul 6, 2012I cannot save my .psd files to the server from Photoshop, neither save or save-as. Save for web works just fine. When I try to save I get this error message:
Could not save as “X.psd” because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to a different file or duplicate it in the Finder.
I know for sure that I have unlocked permissions and no one else is using the file.

Apr 19, 2013one of big problems which arise after update to CS6 is with Photoshop - we are agency, we have workflow based on servers and with CS6 now we have quite often issues with saving on server. After few hours of work there is no more possible to save to server, you must restart PS. With all previous versions of PS there were no such problems like with CS6 (we used CS3, CS4, CS5, CS5.5). Users are switching back to CS5/5.5, but for me it seems quite unbelievable that this kind of errors occurs in such frequent manner.Adobe don't guarantee 100% functionality when using with server, but it would be great to maintain at least some quality level across all versions. For us it means that investment in CS6 upgrade have lower value than we expected. And no, "save locally and copy to server" is not usable to our workflow, it will slowdown users too much.
if Adobe plans to improve quality of PS CS6. We don't want to upgrade to CS7 just because it maybe will work.

Photoshop :: Saving As To A Server Through A Network
Dec 2, 2008I'm having technical difficulty when Saving As in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign CS2. I can save to my computer but when I attempt to SAVE AS to my server it will take about 5 minutes and give me an I/O error or corrupt the file or the entire program will shut down. Often I will have to restart the entire computer. I've checked the network lines and they are fine. It only does it to my computer and none of the other 4 in my office.

I used to run Photoshop 5.5 on Windows Server 2003 without an issue, I wanted to make sure version CS3 will also run on this OS. I know the system requirements say otherwise, but as I said I had it installed on a server OS before with out any issues.

I try to wait 30 second and restart the program and my pc, but there have been no changes.I also updated the patch downloaded from the website version 1.01
