Photoshop :: Copying Flash MX Designed Graphics In Photoshop
May 24, 2004
I am designing simple graphics work for a mouse mat and am trying to transfer a logo which I created in Macromedia Flash MX 2004. Now I can export this file in whatever formats i want but the problem arises when I copy the image into Photoshop 7.0. As the [printing company has specifically asked for a PSD file I have to obviously design something in Photoshop. So when I copy the logo across to photoshop as a JPG, Tiff, GIf or whatever file format, it copies across perfectly. But the problem occurs when i try to resive the image to half the original size. It becomes extremely pixelated.
I have photoshop 9 and am making a collage of my grandkids for calendars. I am trying to copy it to a flash drive, but it copies the whole organizer. What do I do?
I know you can pixelate with Filter / Pixelate / Mosaic, but for some reason images I put through this filter don't look like old 80's/90's video game graphics. Not sure if it's the pixelating itself, or - more likely - the number of colors being used.Is there a plugin out there specifically designed to make an image look like it came straight out of an old video game?
I think that I have tried everything from .png to jpg, bilinear to bicubic sharper, still to no avail.how to make type created using Photoshop appear crisp and clear for the web?I am currently using CS6...
I see that one of the export file formats in X4 (I have CGS) is .SWF, the Flash file format. Can I create Flash animations in CorelDraw using vectors and/or bitmaps (JPEGs) and if so, how?
I want to know what the best and quickest method would be to knockout images of people from a background ? I've heard CS5 has a built in tool for this. I've also heard the plug in "Knockout 2" from Corel is useful. So what is the best tool to use ? Also, is the plug-in "Knockout 2" designed for CS5 ?..or only earlier versions of PhotoShop ?
I have created a nice banner in Photoshop and I would like to add hyperlinks within the banner can I do it in Photoshop or there a special software for that?
I have made an object using the artistic media tool and I would like to copy and paste it, however when I try and paste it into my page there is nothing there but the bounding box. How do I copy and paste this object so it can be seen?
Is there a way to copy paste more than 5 pages through page sorter view from one file to another. When i try to drag and drop pages from one file to another, coreldraw x4 crashes.
I'm a LONG time Corel user -- back to version 4. Have been using X3 for years. Bought X5 but liked X3 better so I kept using it. (Basically only used X5 to import customer Illustrator files and PDFs that wouldn't import correctly into X3.)
Got new computer with Windows 7 and decided to upgrade to X6 64 bit. Overall it's been fine. Only using for a few days.
One thing I do are custom estimates for my clients. I keep several "stock" paragraphs of content on the desktop so I can copy and paste these into the estimate. Typically I just open an old estimate, rename it, and start the new estimate.
Opened X3 estimate in X6 and renamed it. Having some strange behaviors. The file was way too big. Should have been a couple hundred k and it was more than 4mb. Crashed several times. When I would add a page and copy content from a previous page, it would make the desktop grid printable, and I couldn't turn it off. Crashed some more.
Decided to start with a new X6 document. Copied pieces from the X3 file to make a new estimate template. File size now looks correct at a couple hundred k. Everything working fine except when I try to copy text from a paragraph box on the desktop INTO a paragraph box on the page it crashes. Not every time, but often.
I have encountered a bug that when I copy text located at the desktop area. X6 (32/64bit) will crash. if I forget this bug during my work! I need to drag the contact back to the work sheet before I copy.
I've a problem to open an old X4-Coreldraw file. The first time I can open it - when I want to save this file CDraw says that the file will be changed to the X6 Version. I say OK and save the file. The 2nd time I'll try to open the X6 file again then the Error occurs! I changed my settings in CDraw to a local dir c: emp, also to a new drive - but nothing happens! All the drives have mor than 400 GB free space! I hope this will be enough.
So I import a Xref Object CATrig and try and animate and pop - either numerous Maxscipt errors or a straight crash. Again, am I being forced to use the equally buggy Containers feature...
ANNOYED BECAUSE ALL MY OLD AREA SETTINGS, SIGNATURE, FORUM POSTS etc ARE ALL *GONE*. AND NOW I HAVE DUMB LONG USERNAME INSTEAD OF MY OLD ONE.
What or how the discipline folders where designed to be used with the program. Are they actually used in the program some way or just there for you to manual save things to.?
I scanned a logo that was designed with a pen. I've cleaned up most of the 'spots' from the paper, being not pure white.
Now, I would like to change the color. It was black, how do I change it to red or blue? I can't flood fill as you would imagine, because not every pixel has the same brightness.
I have a small site where i've essentially designed a storage pond. I've cut 3.0m off the original ground at a 2:1 slope and built a berm at a 2:1 fill slope to a designed elevation. I've managed to balance the site to zero. The contour drawing I have shows elevations - which is great - however the client has asked to see the contours showing a Fill or Cut label from the original ground.
I am currently building a website in Flash 8. I have been creating most of the graphics with photoshop CS2. I have recently run into a problem with transferring the photoshop work over to flash. I used to just drag a .psd right onto the stage in flash and it came in perfectly. Now all of a sudden flash does not recognize the file type.
i have selected circle and filled the circle with some color. now i want to have border around the circle so i have selected stroke from the edit menu and applied with one pixel. how ever it is not giving a solid look as in flash. in photoshop the border looks like dissolved and transparent. is there a way to get the same look as flash?
I was looking through some of my old folders this morning and stumbled across a pic I had to tinker with early last year for a magazine I was putting together.
as can be seen in the picture, there is a big patch of light (I assume from a flash or other light) right in the middle of the back ground, which looks terrible.
Also, the rest of the pic could do with a bit of lightening as it's too dark.
How would you go about editing this image to remove the patch of light?
I tried 2 techniques, firstly I used the burn tool to darken the patch of lightto match the rest of the pic.
The second approach I tried was to duplicate the layer. On the new layer I darkened the image so the patch was as dark as the rest of the poster in the first layer. Then I applied a layer mask and made only the newly darkened patch visible over the original pic to give an evenly lit poster.
Just upgraded to CS3 and there's no more Flash Export - Just this Zoomify thing, which I'm not sure I trust (keeps wanting to contact the Zoomify Website) and I don't have the time to relearn. Basically, I want my old "Export to Flash" from Imageready. Is that hidden somewhere.
This Zoomify stuff isn't impressing me - does a great demo but I put little flash headers on many of my sites and don't want to complicate things.
I want to create flash image like when you go to page that one image comes from background like a flash and should stop flashing once come to front. How i can create? I don't have macromedia software. I have only adobe photoshop.
