I have PS-CS6 i need to send clients channel separated file saved as DCS files - they have CS4 and CS5 - when the try to open these files - message reads ( COLOR PALETTE NOT AVAILABLE ) and it won't let them open the files - I did the same thing in the same way while using CS3 - 4 and 5 and those worked fine - Just when i updated to 6 -
View 3 RepliesI'm using Photoshop 7.0 and somehow managed to move the "movement bar" at the top of the color pallet off of the visible screen. I also moved to "okay" button off. By the "color pallet," I mean the box that comes up when I click on the currently active color to try and change it. How do I move the box back on screen? I've tried changing the resolution on my computer, but no dice.

In X5 for example, 40% black shows as solid black on the color bar as with any other percentage. Also, is there any way to have the buttons (side bar) look like the ones in X3?
We are facing a strange problem in Corel Draw X4 and X3.First Corel Draw X4 corrupted its color pallet so that all colors were shown completely wrong.After that I tried to instal Corel Draw X3 which seemed to work ok. After a while when opening some older files, Corel corrupts these files. After I have opened them they are completelty empty and the file size is something like 10kb.

When you do that in PS 7, the selection gets filled with blue and (why ?) becomes...eh, not the same as in PS 6. What am I missing ? View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed CS4, and then successfully uninstalled CS3 (both versions as full Creative Suites). I realized, though, that I hadn't saved the actions I had created in PS CS3, so I reinstalled PS CS3 (and found the PS CS3 Actions Palette.psp file, which had my custom actions, from a backup I had made). I exported the custom actions to .atn files, and then imported them into CS4. So far, so good. But..
 Now I can't uninstall CS3! It doesn't show up in my "Add or Remove Programs" dialog (either as the full Creative Suite, or as the individual component programs). I suppose I might be able to solve this by completely uninstalling CS4, which would leave only PS CS3 (and a few other of the CS3 programs, which were also reinstalled) -- and then maybe it would show up in Add or Remove Programs.
 (And then I could -- I hope -- uninstall CS3, and reinstall CS4.) But if someone has a simpler solution, I'd greatly appreciate hearing it! To summarize the key actions, here's what I did:- Already had Creative Suite CS3 installed- Installed Creative Suite CS4- Uninstalled Creative Suite CS3- Reinstalled PS CS3 and a couple other CS3 programs- Exported some files I needed from CS3, and imported them into CS4- Now I can't uninstall CS3.
In CS4, the Extract filter was removed, but was available as a plug-in. I've now upgraded to CS6. There is still a plug-in for this tool! If there is, where can I find it?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi upgraded to LR 5.3 this morning, using the Store Presets with this catalog option, as well as the Upgrade wizard. When LR5.3 opened at the end of the process, all of my Import, Export, or Develop presets were gone. all of those folders are empty (for example C:UsersmePicturesLightroomLightroom SettingsDevelop PresetsUser Presets shows "This folder is empty"), and when i open LR 4.4 (the previous install), the presets are gone as well.

In fact, I get no real time playback at all any more. Everything worked fine in CS6.
