Now I need the file location to delete the beta 1 versions.

AutoCad 2D :: Difference Between Tool Palettes File Locations And Authoring Palette File Locations?
May 30, 2013I am new to using Tool Palettes. I have created a folder on my C: drive which contains all my tool palettes. Right now, I get the symbol of a circle with a line drawn through it and cannot use my tool palettes.
In the Options tab, I noticed that there are the "Tool Palettes File Locations" and also "Authoring Palette File Locations". What is the difference between the two? Do I need to do something to both so I can use my tool palettes without difficulty?

Nov 9, 2011I have a Canon S100 which is one of the 6 new cameras added to LR. My existing LR would not open the CR2 file. This 3.6 RC opens it but does not list it as one of the canon cameras it profiles. How about the other 5 cameras? I don't have any of them so I can't comment. Only on the S100.

May 15, 2013recommend a good way to indicate the location of cross section sample lines in a profile view (of same alignment) as vertical lines? the sample lines have been created at user defined locations from polylines, and do not follow a particular station order. my first thought was to use transparent command to draw line in profile view using station from plan view, but i have in excess of 100 cross sections, and that may be time consuming.

In this instruction, he takes images into Camera RAW and selects a tab called Profile, and it automatically detected the camera from metadata and made corrections.
I was sold, subscribed to Adobe Cloud, downloaded Photoshop and started following his tutorial. When I got to the lens correction part, my Camera RAW has no Profiles tab. Brown does say that you need the latest version, but I have assumed that since I just subscribed and downloaded, that I have that.

Lightroom :: Missing Camera Calibration Profile For Supported Camera
Apr 7, 2014I am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.

May 7, 2012Why is it when I move the X4 files (brushes, picture tubes, etc) to another location and even enter that information in the program that the program moves everything BACK into My Documents folder when I restart the program the next time?
The My Documents folder is for MY DOCUMENTS, not brushes, picture tubes, scripts, maps, gradients and all this other crap.
Why I can't stop this program from inserting folders in My Documents and filling it up with crap. I don't want it there.

Dec 3, 2011I have a unique challenge. I use my personal laptop for my CAD work at work. We are now setup with Vault 2012 and Inventor 2012 and we are setup to pull our Templates, standard files and content center parts from the vault.
I have become so busy that I would like to do some of my work at home on evenings and weekends. Other than the obvious problems of having no life and working for nothing, I am having the problem of not being able to access templates or CC parts at home. I can store the CC and templates on my C drive but am not sure where to set Inventor to point to the files on my drive or if there is an easy to do so depending on where I am.

Dec 13, 2013I have Corel VideoStudio X6 and am experiencing a relink problem. I moved all my media (pics and vid) from c:HomeMediaFiles to d:MediaFiles. I open VS and relink to the new location.
I noticed it didn't relink properly, I have videos with the same name in different directories. In the end it linked to the incorrect video.So, here's my question:
Is there a master file the VideoStudio application uses to reference video locations? I would assume it’s the library and I was hoping I could possibly open the file (with notepad or something) 'find and replace' c:HomeMediaFiles to d:MediaFiles and avoid the relinking through the interface.
I reloaded my library so I still have everything with the old references after I tried to relink through the UI. Good thing I backup regularly.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Extract Part Locations From Assembly File
Nov 6, 2013I am trying to extract part locations from an assembly file. I've been successful UNTIL I come to a part/subAssembly where the workAxes is orientated differently then the overall assembly axis. Is it possible to compare the local axis to the global axis? If the answer is 'yes', can sample code be posted (i.e. dim sameOrientation as bool; sameOrientation = ... )?
Also, once I know that "sameOrientation = false," how would one convert local coordinates to global coordinates?

Sep 28, 2013I just bought me a new canon EOS 700D, the x-rite Colorchecker Passport and photoshop elements 11. I took a photo of the colorchecker (.CR2-raw file) and followed their instructions to make my own camera profile. Meaning I opened the .CR2-Raw file with Photoshop elements, didn't make any changes to it just directly saved it as a .DNG file. Opened it in the colorchecker software "Color Checker Passport", it recognized the colorchecker on the photo and so I pressed the button to make the profile and to save it. I then restarted Photoshop elements and opened the photo with the colorchecker on it again as a .CR2 raw file. In the instructions it now says change the camera profile to your just made profile, but when I scrolled down the profiles there were only the standard profiles "Adobe Standard, Camera faithfull, camera landscape" and so on. Mine was not there. So I checked the paths were my profile and the standard profiles are saved to. I then put my new profile into the same folder as the standard profiles for my camera, restarted PSE 11 (and the computer after a couple of tries) and tried again. Again my profile was not in the scroll down menu where it should be. I even reinstalled all the software concerned with this but it didn't work. My system is Windows 7 64 bit and photoshop elements 11 and X-Rite software are updated.
the .dcp camera profiles I make with the colorchecker software are only 2 kb big but the standard profiles are more like 200 kb.Additiv after reinstalling everything and updating again, the camera profile folder for my canon eos 700D is missing. The folder for teh newest model of that line is the 650D.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Support File Search Path Automatically Removes Locations
Jul 19, 2012I add 3 folder locations to the Support File Search Path. At random, all 3 of these locations disappear. I haven't tracked when this happens and what maybe happened previously, but I know I'm not the only one within my office that this has happened to. The paths are on a file server for our blocks.
Not sure how relevant this is, but I have a HP Z420 Workstation, W7-64-bit, Autodesk Building Design Suite Ultimate, using AutoCAD MEP 2013.

Jan 17, 2012I am working C3D 2012. I have a proposed alignment and profile design by another firm that I had to tranfer into C3D. I had no problem getting the horizontal alignment to display from a text file. I tried to do the same with the profile by using the 'create a text file and create the profile from file' command. I got the POB, PI's, and POE to display. I then defined the VC. I wanted to verifiy that the profile was indeed accurate compared to what we were provided. So I tried to execute a profile report PVI Station and Curve Report - I keep getting an error that "No FG profiles in dwg".
I know the Proposed profile is indeed set to proposed in the properties. I have noticed that the icon next to the profile I create from the text file is different than the profiles created from scratch.
Is there a way to convert this profile to be recognized as a FG profile?

Apr 6, 2014My camera is a Fujifilm X20. This profile is normally included in LR 5.3. But if I want to select it, it's only possible to select model Fujifilm FinePix X100 and profile Adobe (Fujifilm FinePix X100). How can I change this?

Jan 31, 2012I've just purchased a Pentax K-5 but when I import .DNG files from this camera into LR 3.6 there is only Adobe Standard and Embedded as options in Camera Calibration. I checked the release notes and the Pentax K-5 was supposed to be supported in Camera RAW 6.3. I looked in the relevant folder and I can see profiles for other Pentax cameras but not the K-5.

Feb 2, 2013I'm shooting with a Nikon D3s and always had the problem that the imported photos went a few stops darker when they were imported in Lightroom. I figured out that I get better results when I change the camera profile from Adobe Standard to Camera Neutral (which probably equals my setting on my camera)
So how can change this setting for the rest of my already imported stock and how can make this the default setting for my future photo imports?
