Photoshop :: CS6 Working But Can't Access Bridge CS6
Oct 12, 2012
Following on from above the programme fails to write to E:UsersUserAppDataLocalTemp..I am asked to change the environment variable "TMP" to an existed folder on C drive.
We are having issues with Adobe Bridge working properly with Photoshop. When trying to access Bridge through Photoshop we receive the following error "Bridge CS6 was not found on this system. To use this command, please reinstall Bridge CS6"
- We have the Master Collection CS6 installed - Bridge CS6 is working fine as a stand-alone program - This is installed on Windows 7 x64 - I am unable to find an uninstall location for Bridge CS6, it is not under control panel > Adobe Master Suite - All adobe products are up-to-date as of this morning.
iMac with OS X 10.8.2 and Photoshop & Bridge CS6 and Lightroom 4.When try and access photos via Bridge most of my folders have a little red circle with a minus inside, denying me access to the folders. However, if I use mini Bridge in PS I can access all of my folders.
I recently migrated all my programs from my imac to my new mac book pro. This included Photoshop CS5. For some reason, the Bridge portion of the program no longer works in my Mac Book Pro. I get a message saying portions of the application are missing and to do a reinstall of the program. I've done, re-installs and de-install/re-installs.
I have windows 7 and cannot get the Bridge from Photoshop CS5 to work this is a real problem as most of my photographs are taken in RAW and I can't see the picture in the folder.
I have tried most of the answers to this problem from the forum. Launching from start menu and through Program Files doesn't work. Not sure how to change from 64 bit to 32 bit in Windows 7. Adobe if you read this why not solve a problem instead of just bringing out a new version and expecting us to purchase this?
problem just poped up...when I select multiple files (jpegs), when I select print filename and extention...I get no preview and a saved file that will not open...if I dont select print filename and extention it works fine.
My CS4 had always done this perfectly...use constatly for presetations,,,,I installed trial version of CS6 and was performing task there....uninstalled 6 and started having problems......
All of the sudden when I click on browse in CS2 the bridge doesn't pop up. In fact It wont pop up on it's own as well. I have tried re install on both and nothing changes. Any ideas?
I am having a problem with 3d in CS6. When I am working in 3d, sometimes I will create a 3d layer, and while it opens up in the 3d panel, I am restricted to moving aroung the x axis and y axis only, and cannot move around the z axis. The tools at the top of the panel are restrict to the first tool only, and it revolves around the x and y axes only.
This happens intermittently, and to correct I have to restart my computer. How do I resolve this problem.
Is there a permanent fix for Mini bridge not working in PS CS6? I now continually get the message 'Waiting for Bridge CS6...". I am able run full Bridge, and I still get the same message whether full Bridge is running or not.
I had this problem recently and found a fix involving deleting the Switchboard folder which worked for a while but the error has returned and repeating the fix no longer works.
work with an Imac, version Moutain Lion 10.8.2 and with PS6.I get this message when opening PS6 Bridge, see upper section of the annex. If I click Ok pressure I can continue working.Don't know what good that cache content and for which this actually serves. have already emptied via preferences cache cache, this problem is not yet solved.
Translate the error message "There was an error in Bridge causing the cache cannot be read. Try to clear the cache in the Central cache preferences to resolve the situation."
I'm having a problem with my Bridge. As soon as I attempt to open I recieve an Error message "Adobe Bridge has stopped working" (it won't even open). I'm running Vista and I've never had this problem. I recently added a printer drive for Epson r-1800.
Adobe Bridge (CS2 on Windows XP) suddenly stopped the work. After several days of trying to get this program to run again, i deinstalled and installed Photoshop with all it´s programms.
But Bridge still is not working anymore. I can visit some folders once or twice, but after 2 tries, it stopps and give no reaction.
Bridge/ Photoshop Colour Issues: It appears that there are a few pictures that are noticeably dull, when I load them in Bridge and Photoshop. Those same pictures are very vibrant when I look at them directly from the SD card or load them into Picassa.
I tried editing the picture, saving it in Photoshop, then opening it up in Picassa and it has the same dullness. Since having this issue, I have updated the drivers on my Quadro graphics card, but I think it may be something to do with the way that I set up Adobe Bridge, because this is the first time I have imported a large batch of photos from Bridge. However, I pretty much left everything as the standard settings in Bridge.
FYI - I just started using the Adobe Master Collection, with Win 7 Pro 64 and Huey Pro embedded on my laptop. My colour settings are Huey Pro on my laptop, SRGB in Photoshop and General Purpose for Bridge (I haven’t had this issue before and Huey Pro has been my colour settings on my laptop since I got Adobe).
Okay, so basically I selected some 40 images in .bmp to load into Photoshop, but it stops working and closes. I don't have any other versions installed and I already tried installing it again, with no avail. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Should I also try installing Bridge again?
I am trying to set a bridge hotkey for editable poly, but I never can seem to get it to work.
Similar issue here, set a hotkey for connect WITH dialog to cntrl+t. However, when I use the shortcut it just connect with no dialog box to edit the connect settings.
I just downloaded and installed the PSP X4 Ultimate, I'd like to try it before I buy it. When I installed the software, I tried to access"Color Working Space", because I work with Adobe1998 and I wanted to change the work space, but every time I try to access PSP crashes.
purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.
Whenever I try to open the Brushes panel, the Bridge window pops up. I know that Bridge is a media manager, so I'm not sure why is it opening. I really need to edit the brushes and I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way to disable bridge or another way to open the brushes panel that won't open bridge?
After install the Orgainzer works but the Photo Editor doesn't. When I click the Photo Editor in the splash screen it tells me my trial period is up. I'm using Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit
