Photoshop :: All Selections Under Filter Menu And Adjustments Under Image Menu Grayed Out
Jul 19, 2013A co-worker scanned a photo and emailed it to me to edit it and try to improve it, but everything I want to do is grayed out so I can't select it and I can't figure out why. Maybe it has to do with how she scanned it?
It's CMYK, 300 dpi, and 8 bit.
I'd like to sharpen it and adjust the hue/saturation, but they're grayed out.
why this is happening and how I can work around this so I can make the changes I need to make?

Jun 15, 2013When selecting a sub menu from within a main drop down menu the arrow points to the right but the actual sub menu pops up on the left in most cases. I have only noticed this recently and wonder if I have inadvertently messed up a setting as in the past I cant recall this being so but I don't use the editor a lot so may be mistaken.

May 1, 2012I recently upgraded to 2012 but forgot to install the express tools, Doh!. I installed them through control panel repair and everything works. Except when I close and restart ACAD the menu bar express menu disappears. I can bring it back by using cuiload but this is not ideal. Any way to get it to stick?

Especially now that I'm working with Convert to Shape Layer functionality I'm wondering what an efficient/shortcut based way to work with these inner menus is. For instance when converting Text to Shape layers - it seems like I'm spending most of my time dealing with twirly triangle management
I don't even know how to search for them: obviously searching for anything "collapse" takes one to a bunch of collapse transformations stuff.

May 27, 2013Using VS X5 - Just making up a menu for my dvd im burning. Haven made a menu since using ..VS11+ I think it was.
All seems very very familar...similar etc and not asking it to do anything out of the ordinary which 11+ couldnt cope with ( just nowadays using all this AVCHD malaky etc )
Question -Main menu of my dvd - Why am I getting on my main menu page the begininings of my movie!!! I have my main menu setup ( bringing in a pre-made 30second clip on which I will put 'Press Play to watch movie' and/or 'chapter select'. ) When i preview my main menu page...I see the 30second clip i wanted but as it runs so too does my actual movie - at the same time.
I cant seem to find a button to ..basically..tell it not to play the movie as soon as you load the dvd but instead to wait until the 30 second main menu runs and automatically reruns etc until YOU decide to press the 'Play movie' button.

Jun 9, 2005So i am reading on the adobe that encore and CS go hand in hand so i thought i would try making my own menus, but i cant get the buttons to work the way i want them. in the attachment you see the "play movie" that is srt8 forward but the "scence select" i want to open a new window with the scences on it and a back button and the same for the "Extra" button.
i have tried the tut on the adobe site but it is very limited and because i am new to the CS world adding (+1) or (+%) to tiles is odd and it doesnt work so i know i am doing something wrong.
So rant over but could someone try and post a DVD menu tut or a link to a good tut. Google didnt help me out much because everything just links to the adobe tut.

Apr 22, 2013I have Photoshop CS6 13.0.1 x64 Extended and all options under the 3D manu are grayed out. My graphic adapter is nVidia GeForce GTX 650 (it has 1024 MB memory). I have Windows 7 x64 and 8GB RAM.
In Performance settings I have checked to use the graphic processor and in Advanced settings the drawing mode either Basic, Normal or Advanced, it doesn't make a difference.
I just tried to create a 3D postcard and got this message: why the 3D doesn't work and what can be done about it?Here is a fragment of System Info regarding the display driver. The line with OpenCL Version is empty, although I have checked "Use OpenCL", could this be a problem?

Photoshop :: Extensions Sub-Menu In CC?
Jun 29, 2013On OS X Mountain Lion the Photoshop Extensions Sub-Menu in CC is grey when I first launch. I believe this is the same as in CS5. But I think it is non-the-less a bug, because the delay in making that window available makes it appear that MiniBridge is not available, unless I wait and then come back to the menu.

What should I do to solve this?

Photoshop :: Menu Not Working On CS2
Sep 29, 2013I was working on a file in CS2 and I wanted to save it but none of the menu bars are working. When I mouse over/click 'file' there is no drop down menu. Sometimes it will show me the drop down menu, but then I can't click save. None of the shortcuts like ctrl+s are working either. I'm working on an important project so I want to avoid restarting PSD without saving at all costs. Also the next to Untitled-1 it shows 63.8% instead of 100%. I'm not sure what this means.
