Photoshop :: CC Won't Show On Launchpad On OS X 10.8.4
Jun 20, 2013
I installed Photoshop cc on my mac, everything is working fine, but only have one issue, Photoshop cc doesn't want showing on my launchpad. I also installed the Audition cc, it showing on my launchpad. I try uninstall Photoshop cc, also delete all of the users preferences, and re-install it, Photoshop cc still doesn't show on the launchpad. My Mac is running on OS X 10.8.4.
Why new rooms show up in lieu of existing rooms when"show previous and demo" are set for the phase filter? Every single other existing element including doors, walls, windows, etc. show in the "show previous and demo" phase filter with the exception of rooms.
The title says it all really: I've been trying recently to use the 3D features in CS6 (not a usual part of my workflow, which is probably why it has taken me so long to notice)
but all options are grayed out, regardless of the document settings, layer options etc. I simply cannot work in 3D at all! I am working on a Mac Pro (mid 2010) with 13 Gb of ram, so system resources are not the issue.
I just purchased CS5.5 and in photoshop the text doesn't appear after I create a transparent banner and try to use the type tool. I tried reseting the tool and resetting the preferences as advised online. The tool worked fine last week.
We just upgraded to CS and when ever we search folders for .eps images they only show up as eps CS icons no matter how we save them (even in the thumbnail folder view). We are running Windows XP Professional.
For some reason, the line tool in Photoshop will not show up. Whenever I draw a line, the outline shows but it doesn't seem to fill with the selected color. That is, I've got black as the foreground color, the line is set to 1 px, but when I draw it,
I can see right through that temporary shape outline that Photoshop displays until you do the next action. When I draw the next line, the first line is simply not there (no line, and no shape outline). Does anybody know what might be going on here?
In Photoshop 7.0 how do you get it show the fonts in the drop down font selection menu? Not just show the font name but what the font looks like as well.
i am having a problem with my photoshop cs2. this just started earlier today. i can create a text box, but when i go to type, nothing happens - it won't let me type anything. i have tried resetting the tools, clearing preferences and uninstalling, and reinstalling.
i pushed tab, or F, or both, or neither. Either way, the status bar is no longer there. i do not see any Window->Status Bar option. Where is the option to toggle the status bar visibility. CS4
I'm on Windows XP Pro with a Pentium4 2.8ghz, 2gb DDRAM, 256mb Sapphire Radeon graphics card. If I turn off layer visibility my image won't show the change. I have to click on another layer before it will redraw the image. If I make a levels adjustment level and drag a slider while holding alt to show clipping the screen will stay green and black, red and black, or blue and black depending on the channel I adjust until I click on another layer. 5mb JPG images take about 10 seconds to open, flattening the image takes another 5-8 seconds. When I start Photoshop all menu items are greyed out for some arbitrary amount of time yet I can do commands like open by doing the keyboard shortcut. If I could return this garbage to the store I would, and I'd go back to CS1
I have two images open in photoshop CS4. I've selected one image, clicked the "move" tool and moved it onto the other image. I need to see the boundary box so that I can resize it, or rotate it (as in CS3). I've gone into view>show
I have PS CS3 Extended on Windows XP with 2 G RAM.
I want to make a DVD slide show for my sister's funeral. I have all the images scanned into PS, but cannot find a way to convert to a slide show and transfer to a DVD.
I need to be able to see those files having the PS extension outside Photoshop in file managers like Picasa. All I see there is a little black rectangle with a notice.
At one time, there existed a way to defeat PS from reserving .psd to only itself, and I don't think those earlier scripts work in CS3, nor do I even have them any more. Any suggestions besides converting to tiff?
I am an experienced cs5 user and just installed cs6. When I select an image in Bridge, I just get an icon in the preview box and the file number. I have never seen this in cs5.
The LUT adjustment layer produces unexpected results - some presets work as intended, but any of .LOOK format result in a black image. This is 100% consistent amongst the presets that ship with PS CS6. Â I'm sure some e.g. bleached bypass worked OK in the recent beta. Â Windows XP Pro SP3.
I am using CS4 for Mac. My tools and window panels were missing on the side. I placed them back in but noticed something odd happened under the Image tab in the menu bar. Normally I can select from the color modes under Image to change RGB photos to CMYK. For some reason, the CMYK mode is now missing unless I manually select SHOW ALL MENU ITEMS at the bottom of Image - Mode tab. How do I fix it so that all the color modes appear when I go to Mode under the Image tab? This happens every time now when I open a new file. It doesn't seem to save when I quit out of the program. I couldn't find it in Photoshop preferences.
I am using windows 7 and I installed photoshop cs6 extended.after I installed it, copy css doesn't show up on the right click panel.I've just searched for the update for extended. But update only available on Macintosh.
On my MAC the Photoshop CS5 plugins in my plugin folder do not show in the filter menu, i.e, "lighting effects"? What am I doing wrong? Is there something I must do to install or activate them?
How can I show two images open in Photoshop CS6 - next to each other?  Going through the screen modes by pressing F like in Photoshop CS5 doesn't get me there. That screen mode with the floating windows seems to be missing. I need it for comparisons and for dragging layers between the two images.  Is the floating window screen mode achievable in CS6 or how else can I put two opened images next to each other on Photoshop's workspace?
When I open a photo in Photoshop CS6 I can see photo in the layers palette but it doesn't show up on my screen to work on.The only way I can get it to show up is if I act like I'm going to close Photoshop.
Then when it asks if I want to close I say "No". Then my photo shows up so I can work on it.
