I'm following this Adobe guide on troubleshooting but have no clue how to address this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 3 times.I am also getting similar errors for pixelbender and Camera Raw:

Jul 9, 2012After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Material Favorites Does Not Update When Update Materials
Dec 9, 2013I made a change to my materials library. Â I changed the color (from dark grey to light grey) of one material. Â I then saved this back to my library.
Now, when I start a new part, I get a warning that the material does not match the library. Â So, rather than using the material in the part, I opened the template and updated the material to match the library. (Manage >Update Styles).
This is where the problems come into play. In the update styles dialog, if I compare materials against my custom materials and then compare it to my Favorites, it just a continuious circle. Â It is like the favorites are stored inside the part and do not get updated to match the custom materials library. (I thought the whole idea behind using a library was to get the information out of the parts).

The only way I can get the favorites to match is to delete the favorite material, update the style and the add the favorite back in. Â That is a bunch of work. Â The problem I got with this is that there are thousands of parts that have been created that has this favorite in it. Â The only way to update these is to open each part (if I knew which one), delete the favorite, update the materials and then add the favorite back in.
I see the same thing in 2013 and 2014.

The example would be that I have stuff made from way back that the colors/dimension sytles ect dont match the current standard and upon opening a file where they are not current, it would either prompt to update immediatly OR update automatically with no prompting (preferred method).
I am doing a massive amount of updates from old files recently and to save myself 1 - 3 clicks per drawing would be wonderful.

Photoshop :: No More Bridge?
Sep 23, 2008I watched the CS4 introductory webcast this morning, and I gathered from it that you don't get Bridge anymore when you buy only one application, like Photoshop.
Can someone shed some light on that? I'm probably wrong on this. When the matter was raised in the webcast, there was a slight, but noisy, car collision in the street here, so I may have missed the context.

Jul 12, 2009It seems that my Bridge has started unstably. I'll give the symptoms and maybe someone can point me in the right direction for repair.My system: Vista Ultimate, Duo CPU, 1.5 & 1.5 GHz, 4G RamBridge v. 2.1.1.9CS3 v. 10.0.1 1. It crashes on a fairly regular basis.2. When an image view has been rotated , (say from landscape to portrait) many times when I go back to Bridge (after closing and restarting) images do not view as originally rotated. But, when I go to rotate them again,they over-rotate. In other words they were in the correct view (portrait) just did not appear that way.3. Many times, after editing an image, the little symbol that indicates that settings were changed, do not appear. These are just examples. Would it be helpful to uninstall and install again?

Jun 10, 2012Before I installed CS6, I removed CS6 Beta and my copy of CS5 using tools provided by Adobe. When I run Bridge, I notice that for each of the Open With apps shown, they are listed twice.
When I choose a JPEG or raw photo it opens with no problem, but when I open a PNG, I have to choose open with since my Mac will open it in PREVIEW. When I choose open with PS, it loads and opens a second Photoshop even though I have it open already.Â
