I need to add an invisible water mark to the file before it goes to publishing. Is there a way to add an invisible copyright water mark to the file with out using metadata? is there any software that can track images on websites?
what this technique is really called. But if you look this link you see a flower that is kind of embeded into the background. I would really like to know how that is done? Is the flower a drawing or a photo? Is there a tut for this technique somewhere?
I designed a water mark images in photoshop using a walcom tab and texts. I then made a brush out of it and thought that would work but it makes the brush very light and transparent to the picture. How do I get it to stay full color in white as if I moved it from the file onto the picture. I hope this makes since. Then I want to make an action to add to 200 images at a time.
Am trying to achive the effect of the attached, I'm talking about the bottom half with the red colour. Sort of looks like water or wine has been spilt on the paper... Anyone seen anything like this, even something along the same lines would great as a starting point.
I think that is it name were you can put the image in to the text, bevel and embos so the text looks like a water mark made up from the image. can this be done in elements 11
I am trying to print from CAd to PDF with a "CONFIDENTIAL" water mark on top of the drawing but my PDF (Adobe Acrobat Pro) doesn't have the option for water marking. Is AutoCAD has an option like this or can make a transparent text and as a water mark stamp?
I am making the hands of a clock with tick marks held in a particular spot with an invisible bounding box. When I export as a png the bounding box disappears and all I have is the tick mark. Maybe a boundindg box isn't the correct description? I have made the hand using the rectangle shape with no fill and no line. The tick mark is contained within this space. But somehow when it is exported using png the invisible containment disappears. I need that to hold my tick mark in place as the hand goes around the clock.
Installed cs6 which seemed to be working just fine until I attempted to open a CR2 file from a canon 5D Mark III, will not open, checked for RAW updates.
I want to make a fountain that has water jets that cause ripples when they hit the water. I have tried the basic reactor water and Pflow setup, as well as super spray, but neither seem to work. Is there any way to accomplish this without "faking" it by doing something creative with the water's texture?
I work on DWG importer and every now and then I come across some files which behave strange. To take as an example, I am working on a file reported to be having unwanted entities when loaded through our importer. This file when loaded in AutoCAD shows proxy entity and nothing else. When I do "zoom to extents" and select the visible entities by selection window, it shows
Select objects: Specify opposite corner: 5767 found, 1988 groups
Now if I do the selection and say "select: all" instead of using selection window it shows:
Select objects: all 5805 found 9 were on a locked layer. 2 were not in current space.
So apparently there are 38 (5805 - 5767) objects which are either invisible or ignored by AutoCAD when I do "zoom to extents".
1. Is there any way in AutoCAD to make all the objects visible? 2. Why "Zoom to Extents" must be ignoring these objects? 3. What is the meaning of "2 were not in current space."? Does that mean, that the drawing file is simultaneously referring to two Coordinate Systems?
My job is making PDFs "ready for print" - checking colours, making sure overprint is on where needed, adding trapping where needed, etc. After I'm done doing this, I add a logo outside of the printable area as proof that I have checked the file and it's OK for print and the date. This is always on the same spot: 5mm left from the left edge of the design and 5mm below the lower edge.
Right now, I have to keep the Illustrator file with the logo/date open at all times, go there, copy the image, go back to the design I was working on, paste it and enter the values manually to be sure it's in the right place (and then edit the date, of course).
It's time consuming and I was wondering if there's a way to make Illustrator place the logo and date on a pre-determined location without having to keep the file open. I can't just make an action that "places" the file there because then, I can't edit the date anymore.
So I'm learning about the whole new world of options with using imported .shp files in CAD and I'm unable to find a way to make a .shp file invisible in a viewport. I know I'm very close to it as there are a bunch of new contexual tabs that pop up when I select the .shp objects. It just seems that the layer control for traditional CAD does not apply through the MAPWSPACE toolspace window.

I am working on my xref file and all of a sudden in my layer properties, all of my layers are missing. It's as if they are still there but invisible, I put my cursor over them and a box comes up with the layer, but I still can not see it or modify it.
I am building a custom batch update for our drawings to take border definitions as well as custom iproperties from a current template and push them into a specified inventor dwg file. I built a form for the users to select the template they want to import into a list of files they place in the form. The program opens the template, get's all the information (iproperties, border defs, etc... using the active document to get the document) then iterates through the list of the users doing the following for each file (also getting the active document to get the items in each file): open, replace border definition, insert any non-existent custom iproperties, save and close the file. It works great when I keep the open visible set to true for the files. When I switch the visible property to false for each one of the files I want to open I get an error similar to this: Systems.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'Inventor._DocumentClass' to type 'Inventor._DrawingDocument'. at ---- then my button click event here.
Does inventor technically not see a document as an active document if the file is not visible when opened?
I am starting a webcomic, and one of the scenes I have planned is going to be partially underwater. How do I do a good under water effect? I have looked several places but I could not find a tutorial on such. Plenty of creating it for a background, but not for what I need.
I am trying to achieve an effect of tire tracks on water, as if a bus had just driven over it. I'm having a hard time making it look effective....at the moment the best i can do has turned out looking more like snow tracks more than anything else...
would anyone have any ideas on how i might achieve this effectively? Its supposed to be for a large poster so it has to look pretty good. I hope someone might have some ideas .
I have searched everywhere and i cannot find out how to do this, i first saw pictures like this in a worth100.com contest, all i want to do is change textures like this flame to water like they did
How can I create the effect of showing type on water? I don't know if I'm going to explain exactly what I mean, but I am picturing a final product that makes it seem that the type is part of the water body (e.g. ocean waves).
So, the type would float on the waves while being a part of the same water.
create a simple animation similar to the logo you see in the upper left of the screen. See the nifty water reflection on the "PT" logo?
I want to do something similar to that. How do I go about it? I want to make a water reflection animation on the underside of a boat. It is for a night time scene. I can't have too many frames and it needs to run at 30 fps.
