I am trying to edit photos using actions I purchased for PS CS6. I started on a batch of photos from the same shoot. I got about 7 shots deep and suddenly I can't "Play" any of the actions. I can't do anything with regards to actions. I do not know how to fix this! I have a client waiting for photos and I can't do anything.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PSE 10. My OS is Windows 7. My printer is a Canon MG6120. The default print tray selected for the computer and all programs is the Cassette. It was selected under Devices and Printers (path: Control PanelHardware and SoundDevices and Printers). All my programs accept the cassette as the default paper source or Tray, except for PSE 10.
In all other programs, I manually change the Paper Source for rear tray selection through the Printer Properties dialogue window. However, the paper source for my PSE 10, after manually changing from Tray: Rear Tray to Tray: Cassette, resets back to Tray: Rear Tray after printing and even after using the Change Settings and Advanced Settings dialogue windows. see the image insert.
I generally print on bond paper. The rear tray is normally closed. If I'm want to print on photo paper, I open the rear tray and insert the photo paper. I verify that I have the printer set to use the rear tray. After printing on photo paper (from any program) I reset the paper source back to cassette.
My questions are, "How do I correct or override PSE 10's automatic resetting of the paper source to the Rear Tray. How do I convince PSE 10 to accept the front-loading cassette as the default paper source?"
PSE10 also insists on reverting to Landscpe orientation. Please see the image insert.

Doesn't Photoshop Elements 11 support a photo tray option or is it just the main tray on your printer? My printer has a photo tray that I always used in previous Elements versions. Elements 11 doesn't show a photo tray option in printing, what gives???

I have tried to figure this out and I think I have done it before. But for whatever reason now I cannot use the add tray button nor can I do it on the organizer button at the upper left corner of the tray. When I click on more options none of the tray buttons are highlighted, so I cannot get it to create or delete or rename a tray.

When I print from any other application, the bypass tray is used correctly. This problem only started about a month ago. Essentially when I open up the liquify tool, even if I just press cancel, Photoshop will just freeze and I have to kill the process manually. I suspect it is a video card issue, so I checked and ensure the laptop is using the latest driver. Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family (driver version: 8.15.10.2869, ig4icd64.dll)
Since I am already running the latest driver, what else can I do to rectify this problem?
The registration screen is frozen. I restarted the computer but same thing happened. I cannot use Photoshop.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to put a cable tray going from a sliding door to a fixed piece of steelwork. When the door opens and closes, I want the cable tray to adjust to suit the sliding door. I'll upload the file that I have made. When i drag the sketch it all moves accordingly, but when I placed in the assembly and make it adaptive it does nothing, it will not constrain and it will only bring up the errors.

USING MAC, CS 5.5: When I open the image size dialog box -- as well as the canvas size box -- for any file; new or existing, and try to change the size, the box either won't let me change the number, or it closes out. Doesn't scrash the app; just refuses to cooperate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had been working on an edit for way too long and of course i didnt save it the entire time because im terrible i guess, I wanted to see what the deal with Lens Flare was so i went Filter>Render>Lens Flare to check it out. I hated it and immediately removed the flare with no problems.
Then I was going to go back to Lens Flare to see if i could adjust it into something sort of decent but i accidentally went Filter>Render>Lighting Effects and it locked my Photoshop up (yes my computer sucks). I then started to panic because of the extensive amount of time i put into this edit without saving it.
I opened Photoshop and it loaded up the recovered file i was working on. Unfortunately it has the terrible lens flare from my first attempt attached to it and im not able to undo or anything. Is there anything i can do to get rid of the lens flare?
using PS CS3 on mac 10.8.6 - been fine for years and was OK two days ago. Now when I open it I get a blank window (just the yellow dot upper left) and all else is frozen - can't even quit. Used 'force quit' which works but does NOT say that it is not responding.
Tried rebooting and restarting etc - no change.I know its old but it was fine for my purposes - and I have not changed anything.
In Bridge I got an error message saying I needed to purge the cache folder, but when I attempt to do that, everything freezes and I have to force quit Bridge. I was told to go to the Bridge cache folder in "library" and delete specific folders there to solve my problem. Unfortunately, I cannot find "library' neither by opening folders and looking nor by doing a search for "library".

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was looking for a video editing program, and after reading good reviews for VSP x6 I downloaded the trial. It installed and started up the first time fine without any problems. I was able tinker with the program and began to like it.
However, I closed it out to take a break, then came back to it (same day, and hour later) now every time on startup it hangs on the overlayed "Corel Guide" flash intro. The window pops up and allows navigation of the "Corel Guide" and I am able to click-through of the links, but it will not collapse the guide or let me use the actual program at all. I also can not close the program either without using task manager. I am only on day 1 of the 30 day trial. I have attached a screenshot.
My cpu should be able to handle the program without a problem, it is running Win7 64bit, with 16GB Ram, AMD Phenom II x6 Processor, 3.20Ghz
I have a Render message that reads in red type "FTL: Virtual device creation failed." And I'm unable to click out of the message box, or click OK or cancel. Nothing happens. There seems to be a problem with my screen as well, it holds onto prior open windows and I'm unable to have a fresh window in Max. Does any of this have anything to do with os Windows 7 Home Premium vs. Pro or Ultimate? Even some of the tasks in Max don't seem to be initializing. For example, I tried to Manage>Set up Project and clicked on file in Windows 7 Home Premium and nothing happens.

At the beginning of each video file there are two extra frames at the timeline, so each video file starts with three identical frames and that causes each file starts with 0,12 sec frozen video.
When I remove the two frames, two frozen frames are added at the end if a file! In the end-product there are three frozen frames between each cut! And 0,12 seconds is visible …
