Paint.NET :: Fatal Error Installing (1603)
Aug 9, 2012I recently installed some "Megalo's Plugin Pack" and it just kept crashing my paint.NET, so I tried going to the effects and file types folders and deleteing all the plugins, but there was so much I had no idea which was plugin stuff and normal paint.NET. So I just deleted everything paint.NET and tried reinstalling it, but it just says "Fatal error installing paint.NET (1603)"

Sep 22, 2011Just installed PSP Pro X4 and tried to uninstall X3. Can't do it. Tried three times. Get an error msg: "The Installation Wizard encountered a problem while trying to configure your software.
Could not access file: c:users homasappdata....setup.msi -- The system cannot find the path specified. Would you like to continue? Yes No" When I choose Yes I get another error msg that says: "Installation Wizard not complete. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again. Click finish to exit the wizard. You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation. This installation requires administrative oo elevated privileges. Please contact your administrator and then retry this installation."
Paint Shop Pro :: Can't Uninstall And Reinstall X5
Dec 21, 2011Figured I'd have to reload but the PSP files appear to be there but it wont run so I was gonna reinstall it. When I put in the program disc it runs a bit then says "Setup.xml could not be loaded. This may indicate that the file is corrupt."
I get the same thing if I try to remove PSP with control panel....

Jun 28, 2011I have been having problems with my PSP X2 releasing memory and had time today to reinstall. When I purchased my program it said it was compatible with windows 7, 64bit. Now I see on their web site that PSP X2 doesn’t support Windows 7. So if I uninstall and have problems reinstalling will I be SOL?
What happens if I uninstall and can’t reinstall? Also can’t I just go into Control Panel and tell it to uninstall?

Jul 10, 2013I have been using PSP x3 for awhile with no issues, but about a month ago, it simply stopped working. I open the program via shortcut, and the logo blinks onscreen, but the program never opens. No explanation, no trace.
I have attempted to uninstall and re-install, but each attempt to uninstall completely freezes the PC dead and I end up having to physically turn the PC off. I'm detecting no infection on the PC.

Nov 3, 2008when I had to do a system restore, it messed up. Not sure why, but I got the screen to accept or decline the user end license agreement, when I clicked to accept it, it just went away and nothing happened. So I uninstalled it, and tried reinstalling it, now every time I try, it gets right to the end, where it's installing Adobe Bridge CS4 and it comes up with an error saying it had problems installing photoshop CS4 and then asks me if I want to continue with the installation, I click continue, and it finishes, but I get an error message at the end again. Nov 13, 2008I see tons of negative feedback on CS4 - is this typical of this forum or is this a program that's not ready to be hatched so to speak. I just shelled out a fortune to purchase CS 3.3 (CS Web Premium).
I also see that several people have had trouble uninstalling these trials so I'm reluctant to even find out for myself. I had the same problem trying to evaluate CS3 in that it wouldn't install completely and wouldn't remove at all. FORMAT is a dirty word in this house.

Jun 10, 2012All of a sudden Photoshop stopped working out of the blue. It was working one minute, then an hour later I went to use it again and it wouldn't work - I hadn't installed / uninstalled any software/drivers in that time, nor had I made any changes to any system settings. When I click on the shortcut to run Photoshop, literally nothing happens. I thought maybe doing a fresh install would work, so I tried to uninstall it, but clicking on it in Add or Remove Programs does literally nothing either. There are no error messages, nor does anything appear on screen - literally nothing happens when I either try to run the program or uninstall it.
I downloaded the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and tried that, and while it runs fine, running it has no effect at all on my Photoshop installation and all of the files, folders and registry entries are still there.
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. How can I get Photoshop completely off my system without formatting my drive and doing a fresh install?

Dec 7, 2012I uninstalled all of my PS Plugins; then uninstalled CS-5 (Win-7/64bit), with Win-7 "Programs and Features" Uninstall utility,& all "stated" Successful.
When checking Program Files / ADOBE, there's still a folder labeled Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 bit), and consists of 58 MB of what appear to be various Plugin "data"
Since I've uninstalled all of the plugins, & plan to reinstall them from scratch, I'm temped to Delete the folder------ Just not sure why the Uninstall didn't remove it?
