View 1 Replies View Relatedttf files into the windows/font folder like everybody says, but they wont appear in the font select menu. I've tried closing and opening photoshop, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop, AND uninstalling and reinstalling illustrator just to make sure, but to no avail. They all appear in the font folder, but photoshop will not recognize them. Furthermore, I've been able to add new fonts in the past, they display in the font menu just fine...but not the ones I recently tried to put in. What's going on here? Are there more than one kind of .ttf ? Is there a way to force photoshop to look at the font folder?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI wrote an API program (exe file) using VB 2010 Express. I want to ad startup link of this program on RIBON toolbar in case of start within Inventor session.
Is it possible?. Using Inventor 2013 and Win7 64 bit.
I had been using 2.8.0, adding some text to graphics. I came back from a brief break, and the next time I added text, the font was extremely narrow, to the point that it was illegible.
At first I tried simply shutting GIMP down and restarting. No such luck. Next, I uninstalled GIMP, then I ran CCleaner to get rid of any residual files and settings, then I reinstalled GIMP, still using the 2.8.0 Windows installer, and still, the issue persisted.
** EDIT ** I tested ALL fonts, the problems happens with each one.
So I uninstalled again, did the CCleaner thing, then downloaded and installed 2.8.8, and the problem still persists.
Again, fonts and texts had been working without an issue all day. I stepped away from my PC to get food. There was no one in the house that could have messed with any settings, no pets to accidentally press keys or anything like that.
I am at a complete loss. I've looked at every possible setting I could think of that could possibly impact how fonts are rendered, and changing settings still does nothing.
I have found an inconvenient workaround for this problem, but at least I can now get some work done.
The problem still occurs when I try to insert text into an EXISTING image, but if a create a NEW IMAGE with a background color, text displays and renders as it should. If I choose a transparent background, I still get the problem with the text rendering too narrow to be legible.
So something about existing images and/or transparent backgrounds contributes to this issue. But as long as I create my text layer in a new image, I can then just copy and paste that layer into the image I want to edit, and I can even edit the text once it has been pasted without problems.
Still, this is very inconvenient, especially when I am trying to place text in precise positions.
I can add an audio to my slieshow. After that I cannot run the audio nor the slide show. the program crashes. I took screenshots of the error messages.

I made a custom sprite for a game called MapleStory. I'm trying to use fonts over my pic but I can't see them.. and yeah. I don't think when I type the font it even adds the effect of the font it's supposed to.
Here's a pic:
Also is there a way I can preview the pic before I save it? Can't seem to do that either.
I try to read PDN file in my C# 4.0 program (coded with Visual Studio 2010 Express).
I have added references to :
- PaintDotNet.Base
- PaintDotNet.Core
- PaintDotNet.Data
For the beginning I try something simple :
string uri = @"..\forest.pdn";
string nom = "";
FileStream fs = new FileStream(uri, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);
Document doc = document.FromStream(fs);
for (int i = 0; i < doc.Layers.Count; i++)
{
Layer current = (Layer)doc.Layers[i];
if (nom != "") nom += ", ";
nom += current.Name;
}
lblLayers.Content = nom;
But, when the program try to open a stream with "Document doc = document.FromStream(fs);" I have the following error :
Unable to load DLL 'Native.x86\PaintDotNet.Native.x86.dll': The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.
The Dll exists in my computer. I have tried to do what is indicated here, but without success.
I used to know how to remove unwanted fonts off of paint net so I could have room for others I wanted to add but I forgot how to do it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedProblems with the resize facility? The program does not allow resizing on some photographs but it does on others, even those taken on similar settings (same ISO) within minutes of each other. Pressing the resize option or the new button on some photos brings up the resize widow at top left of the screen with no data and only the word 'Static' where the original data should be shown and nothing in any of the other various boxes. Inputting data in any of the boxes does not work and the OK button does not work either. On other photos the usual resize window comes up in the middle of the screen with original photo data shown and all the usual options displayed for the required resize.
The same photographs which will not resize in X5 resize normally in my X3 version and I get the message "Requested parameter not found in the repository" when attempting to resize the photos on my laptop copy of X5.
I downloaded PSPX4 from the Corel site where I bought it. It is in my Downloads folder instead of Program Files. Then I copied it to program files and it still isn't even in a folder called Corel. How do I get it where it should be? And, I cannot find all the folders then go with it, like tubes, brushes folders etc.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPSP X3: Been trying to run program for past several months but program keeps freezing. Working with JPEGs or Raw(NEF) files, doesn't matter. Cannot find any rhyme or reason. Seemed like the latest update worked, but tonight had problems again. No error messages. Sometimes I'm editing, sometimes I'm saving, sometimes I have 10 files open, sometimes just one - no apparent pattern. Fortunately, PSP X2 works fine. Win 7 Pro 64 bit was a clean install as was X3. I've even deinstalled and and reinstalled X3 one time, and still encounter the problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to figure out a way to open all of my old .pdn files in another program. It doesn't matter if it's a .psd or image file or anything, I just need to convert it into something I can actually use.

Is there a weld option in this program? I can't seem to find one if there is. I do scroll saw art and I do a lot of words 'welded' onto shapes. Like a name in a circle or on a rectangle to stand on desk etc. Is there a way to do this with this program?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm new here but for from new to PSP. I've used PSP8 for years and now are using PSP X1. I got PSP 4 but I'm not a fan at all. Anyway I've got a new PC running Win7 64 bit pro. The thing is PSP has decided it want use Adobe open style fonts. The True Type are fine. The open style do show in the fonts list and when used they do create a new vector layer and show the writing in the layers column. The thing is they don't show on the image. They used to work fine before but not now.
