View 4 RepliesI was hoping I could find a plug in for it. Any plug ins out there for that?
View 3 Replies View Relatedyou could copy the layer from picture 1 to picture 2.
So you coud copy whole "effect-strings" much easier as before.
Is there a chance to implement this feature to P.net?
A problem has developed in my photoshop CS 6 64 bit on windows 7. I can't paint at full opacity in a layer mask. It is like an 75 % opacity brush. I have gone back to the default brushes soit is not the particular bursh. My brush settings are all at 100%, mask density is 100% , the blend mode is normal,-can't think of where else to look for the solution. The brush works just fine when I am not in a layer mask.I updated the graphic card driver and also the wacom intuos driver. It has to be somewhere in photoshop CS6 as when I go into my older version photoshop, cs5, the mask opacity works works at 100 % opacity.

I can get around it but I still don't like it. How about in X7, the clone tool include a source and target dialog for the clone tool

View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to add a "photo frame" to a picture? Like, is there a library or set of frames that can be used on the edges of pictures in a simple click or two?
I am wanting "pretty" frames for adding photos to printed coffee mugs etc.
I have an icon and it's a circle with the outer areas deleted (transparent). I need to select only the image area (the circle) and copy it so I can add it with a paste as a layer over another image.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi have 2 jpg picture files and I want to make one new one picture or copy the picture from one file and place it next to the other picture in the other file.
for example i have a picture of a red car and a picture of a blue car. I'd like to end up with one picture contaning a red car and a blue car
If I create a third picture and copy and paste an existing picture into it, the quality of the new picture is reduced.
I wanted to make text/image glossy in paint.net.so i followed procedure given in this link : URL...
I followed exactly as described on page2-page5.everything goes exactly like mentioned ,except for last page(5) instruction ,which says " When the positioning of the selection looks correct, go to Edit > Erase Selection to delete the base of the gradient. You should now see that you have created a glossy text effect similar to that that you can see on the first page of this tutorial.
underlined part i just cant execute, because that link in paint.net software remains dead and i cant click it.
What is the best way to take the background out of a photo or a portrait and keep the photo? Also would like to be able to keep the edge nice so when am laser engraving it will look nice, and will be able to engrave well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOpen up a picture
Create a Mask marquee and Cut [Ctrl X]
Undo twice [Ctrl Z twice]. You're now back where you started but with a cut object on the clipboard
Paste [Ctrl V]
Cut [Ctrl X]
Paste again [Ctrl V]
Cut again [Ctrl X]
In my case, the entire image has now been cut, not just the pasted object. The reason I do this is because I'm working with two virtually identical pictures. On one picture there has been a modification which I wish to paste onto the other. I cut and paste but need to align the pasted object with the picture. So, I paste the object and move it; then cut and then paste it to check it's in the correct position. If it's out of alignment then the image appears to move. There may be other ways to do this but I find this way easy.
i am looking to make some shiny rough text effect as shown in below image how can i make it like this? and also how i can create some glossy and shiny effect as shown in below image?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a logo that appears to be matte finish.
Is there a way to make it appear glossy?
Is there a plugin that will achieve that effect?
I created my avatar using Paint.NET years ago:
It is looking dated (to me), so I had been thinking about sprucing it up.
I decided I would remove the ugly text "jp2code", throw a transparent Glossy Button effect over it, and put my text on top of the glossy button as an Etched Glass effect.
So, I look up and start reading up on a couple of the better glossy button tutorials:
Making glass buttons, and Buttons (ymd:110331)
I have used them both before with great success, but this time proved difficult. Neither of them seems to have a good way to use a background image.
The best approach I found was to create a ymd button using a light gray background and setting the opacity down to 150 or so.
The end result looks no where near as nice as I had pictured in my head:
As you can see, it is very dark, does not look like a Glass Button, and I have not found a good Etched Glass effect.
How to brighten up the Glossy Button without washing out the background?
In Photoshop I've seen it's possible to select or move the contents of a selected layer by clicking and dragging *anywhere* on the canvas, which avoids the problem of misclicks inadvertently deselecting the current layer (and selecting another instead). This happens especially when trying to select thin, hard-to-see, or small graphics mixed with bigger graphics on other layers.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been doing some group photos for my work and would like to overlay our logo and text, but be able to use it again for other shots and change the text when needed. Something like class photos where all I would change would be the text.
Can I create a transparent PSP image that can then be overlaid any future photos?
how to get ANY shinniness to the paint when it is flat, i get a primered effect.
I already did a good number of things to this truck but can any 1 give me a few pointers?
I'm trying to clone from one layer (photo) to another layer (photo), and simply want an exact pixel-to-pixel replacement. For instance I'd like to copy pixel (10, 20) from the first layer to pixel (10, 20) on the second layer.
I've found that I can set the upper, left corner of Layer 1 as the "source" (using Alt+click), and then go to my "destination" layer, and click on the same upper, left location, and then subsequent click-and-drags will then be aligned, but that is not an elegant process. I'm assuming that there's just a button click or option that I'm not aware of that will make all of this much simpler.
PS: I'm using PS CS5
I'm just working on a flyer for a party and I like how the picture looks like after clicking on the picture with the magic wand. Now the question if I can save that picture with that looking someway?
I could use the print button, yes but then I lose the quality of the pic.
I am using PSE 11 and need a hint as to how to duplicate the picture layer and then add a layer mask. Still trying to figure this thing out.

I have my main photo with 6 layers including a tree and figures which I can move independantly and the background is the checkerboard as the main layers are turned off with only my selections showing. I also have another photo where I have selected part of it and also turned off the main layers leaving a small part with checkered background. When I have the main photo loaded and drag the other one from the photo bin with the move tool, nothing appears on the main picture. I have already dragged the Christmas tree in the same way and that worked. By the way, all the files are .PSD.
