Paint.NET :: 3 / 4 Pictures In A Banner
Jul 29, 2013I have tried paint.net or anything similar. I am trying to make a banner for my website. I have managed to put a single picture onto a canvass and 2 pics side by side, but I would like one with 3/4 pics on it, 1 large at each end and 2 small in the middle. Is this possible with paint?

Feb 13, 2012I am making a banner with a picture that is right justified and the remaining part of the banner a color I pull from the photo. I am also trying to make a gradient to smooth the photo into the background.
I am able to crop and re-size the photo. I create a New Layer, color pick and fill the background and my banner looks good. I then select the gradient tool and select Transparency mode. I click on the photo and the background color disappears and starts
showing the transparency checkerboard. I create the gradient and select another tool to deactivate it. After that my background color never reappears.
So my banner has a photo that fades into a blank area.

No matter what color text I use, the text cannot be seen clearly. Is there a way to put a banner/box over part of the grass then type the text inside?

Thought maybe it was just the preview so I saved the file as an animated gif. Opened it in Windows Picture Viewer, and it still did not work. Jun 7, 2007The people I'm working for wanted a (huge) banner for their website. So far their site actually has fairly decent look. It's very clean and has moderately saturated blues with white text. So this is what I made this for them.
However they wanted me to adjust it, and it ended up looking like this. Is it just me or is the newer design very tacky? I didn't like the hugeness of the first one, and they ended up wanting it even bigger...
I haven't suggested going back to the old one yet because I'm waiting to hear what other people think.
It's just getting frustrating because their instructions through this whole thing have been incoherent. And it ends up in me having to remake something... and the updated version usually looks worse. It's almost like they don't like my designs because they didn't come up with them.

I did one but it took 7 hours cause I made the banner then painstakingly added the animation(simple 8 frame gif)frame by frame after wards.
