know the Line/Curve only have 4 pointers/handles/nubs (To be honest, I do not know what it called). There one at the start, two in the middle and one at the end but I need to add more as I need to make more curve so, is there a way to add it or at least any plugin.

Obviously you can just make the line, shape it, and then make a new one to get more nodes, but I find it annoying to line up and such. If you can't add more manipulation nodes onto it, that should be a feature!
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I click, using the gradient tool, a nub appears and no color appears. As I drag my mouse, the first nub remains and a second nub appears, following the cursor. At no time does the gradient itself appear. I've tried rebooting the program. it doesn't work. I've never had this problem before using the gradient tool.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen using the Line / Curve tool, I tend to cause a line to "finish" because when I try to click on a handle to bend the line, I miss, (due to poor vision)... and the line can no longer be adjusted. Is there a way to cause the handles to re-appear so I can complete the line the way I need to? "Undo" only makes the line disappear, and I have to start all over.

When I drag them they don't have curve handles, they don't curve. I have again to click on a segment, a * appear. Then click To curve in the property bar.
Can I just put curve handles in one shoot to all the segments of a object (ex a square)? Without to have to do all 4 segments one by one?

One of the things I do a LOT is outline a circular object (in a photo) using the line/curve tool in a separate layer so that I can select the circular thing or everything else. Hope that made sense. Anyway, the thing is not exactly a circular and the line/curve tool works great but it would be nice to have a shape tool that would draw a circle that could be sized/positioned and slightly deformed using nibs (or nubs or whatever) similar to the line/curve tool.
Is there a way to do that with the built in shape tool? Or is there a plugin?
I've just started using Paint.Net, primarily for pixel work. I needed a program that had the curve line tool but with extra features than the ones provided in Microsoft Paint. But it seems that I've came to a problem, the lines are anti-aliased, even at 1 pixel big. I was wondering if there was a option to turn the aliasing off for the line/curve tool.

Green Circle: Where the lines meet end to end
Red Circle: Where the lines overlap

I am working with vector art that has lines that either look like they were cut off and not finished out or extend to the edge of the page so they are straight when they should actually be curved.
Is there any way to take a straight line or part of an image and curve it with ease or will I have to redraw or alter each line?
Is it possible to use the scaling handles (nubs?) on a layer when it is zoomed in?
I'm working on a technical drawing with several imported layers and fairly high resolution (600 dpi). All areas of each layer must precisely register with corresponding points on the other layers. However, as they were imported, there were several pixels difference between them. If I zoom out to the window, I see the scaling handles at the edges and can move any side or corner to rescale the layer, but the resolution is too low to see the image well enough to place it precisely. If I zoom in, I no longer can access the scaling handles.
I would like to zoom in to one corner of the image and align all the layers, then go to the opposite corner, zoom in, and adjust that corner into alignment without changing the first corner.
Windows 7, PS Elements 5.0 and all these years I have never had a problem. But now when I open the program my on screen pointer has 2 shadows following it around. Meaning, there's three of them now.
This only happens in the main screen. When changing tools or using the menus,, the pointer changes back to an arrow to make your selection.
How do I create a new pointer using two existing pointers. I would like to create a pointer that combines the default arrow and the integral.

During Parcel creation I told it to apply curve tags and it did what it said, created curve tags. Never again until I get comfortable with it. Looks great but want to have some order here. It's really random. I know it's not LDD but in LDD you could clear tags and start over. How to do this in 3D? From what I understand even if you do not display tags they are still created right? View 6 Replies View RelatedIn PSCS5 and earlier, I used to be able to make a straight line of points in a curve by placing 9 points on the straight line curve. I did this by drawing a small straight line at the bottom of the curve using the pencil tool and then clicking the curve point icon.
I can't seem to do this with CS6.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI used polyline to trace a tree trunk. I wanted it to be just a series of line segments which I was going to export to AutoCAD and then to Sketchup. However, each segment I drew said it was a curve. When I exported to AutoCAD it came in as a spline. If I convert that to lines, where I had maybe 10 lines there are now 100.
I also tried to 2 point line tool. I started each new line from the end of the previous. It gave me the same result.
Is there a way for me to end up with just the 10 line segments? No spline. No curve. Just 10 straight lines.
I know this has been in Draw for a long while, but I wish they'd make the arrow tip start at the end of a curve.
steps to reproduce:
F7, draw a curve
draw a line
change both to have an arrow on one end
change both to 16px thickness so you can see the arrow position well
This problem comes up when I'm doing a detailed diagram and I've got my arrows going around all over the place. I need to tweek one so I convert to curve... but in doing so, the end of the arrow sticks out farther than it used to... and that forces me to change the postions and angles of possibly a few nodes.
I'd like the arrow to end at the node so there's no change in it's position when you do a convert to curves.
This is one of those... "that's not a bug, it's been around forever" type of things I know, but it should be changed IMHO.
I should mention that this is also a pain when you go in with the node edit tool when the line isn't selected and you can't see the nodes... you click around at the end, and eventually find it hiding in the center of the arrow/triangle part.
I am doing a project and I have a lot of feature lines. I will need to be able to lable these feature lines with tags and then create tables for those. My question is, is there an easy format that I can do that will lable these lines in an order I set it up? Right now it just lables all over the place. The lines are counting the curves too. For example: L1 L2 L3 C1 L5 L6 C2 L8. I can make it work, would just think there is a better way. BTW I am using Civil 3D 2011.
