View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason today it just stopped paying the audio from my Nikon D300S video files. I tried importing a new file but that won't play either and I reloaded the program and that won't work either. I know the audio is that as it will play in Windows.

I have a video file, I have an audio file. Video is loaded in the video track, audio in the Voice track.
HOW in the ... do I sync them? I have the mixer on, I can see the wav graphics, I can see where I want them to line up but either the Video track must slide forward ( and it won't, it's locked on 0 ) or the audio track must slide backward (but it won't slide below 0 start) I've tried splitting, clipping... I can't get it cut just right. All I want is time frame 0 for the video to start at positive time frame within the audio.
I started a Premiere Pro CS5 project on my PC at work. Video files played both audio and video, life was good. Unfortunately my PC at work is slow, so I want to continue working on the project on my home PC. Uploaded the needed files with Sugarsync, went home, but when I open the project here all the video files only play audio.
So I know the files CAN display video, so it must be something to do with my home computer and CS5 install? I tried reinstalling PP CS5, no change. Is there a setting I may have accidentally disabled at home to force audio only?
I'm using Elements 9.03 with Windows XP. When I download videos from my Sony HandyCam, the video portion of the file does not play back, only audio. Is there a setting I can adjust or do I need to use a more recent version of Windows?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen using an HDMI link (from my Acer laptop) to an A/V receiver, no audio is sent over the HDMI when using Lightroom5 to play video clips, but it works OK when playing the same clips directly from the files). Playing YouTube videos, and tutorials, also work correctly (audio on the HDMI).(The audio is output from the laptop speaker, and the 3.5mm jack.)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded my old VideoStudio 12.00 to VideoStudio Pro X4 and have only just started using the program again after a couple of years of absence so I am still on a learning curve.
Can I extract the audio from a video clip and if so how and how can I convert it, if necessary into an Audio Interchange File Format, so that I can export it to a program such as Audacity for removing background wind noise before importing the Audio back into the videoStudio project.
I have tried using all the audio filter functions in VS to remove the background noise, to no avail.
Video will not play properly [audio plays well video hangs ] in Adobe Photoshop CS6 running on a Win7-64 machine equipment with a quad-core processor. Video plays properly in Lightroom 4 and Bridge CS6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had assumed LR would import WAV audio files, but it is not recognizing them.
I should explain I had the photos already in my library (without audio), and went back later to import the associated WAV files from a backup location (with WAV only, no photos). Now the WAV files have the same name as the (corresponding) photos, but a WAV suffix.
#1 - Confirm if LR even supports Audio files?
#2 - If yes, is there a way in my scenario to get it to ingest those audio files?
My Canon 60D video (*.mov) files are sucessfully imported to the Lightroom catalog, but Lightroom won't play them in LibraryLoupe view.
http:[url].....
but it shows video frames, when I hover mouse from left to right edge of item in LibraryGrid view. Seems like output of "Loupe" for video is broken and play control (scroll and buttons) is disabled. Have tried LR 5.0 and LR 5.2 RC.
Quick time 7.7.4 plays this files perfectly.
OS: Windows 8.1 Preview
After installation of LR4 Beta,Thumnails of Video files(AVCHD) were not generated. After restarting the system, I could view thumbnails and also could import files in to LR4.I enjoyed using vibration etc and it is easy to export (to H264) in comparison to cs5 PP. Now 2nd day onwards, I am not able to view thumbnails(video files) for importing nor files could be imported.Files already imported work fine with thumbnails. (Thumbnails while importing Video files are being displayed normally in LR3 without any problem)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running Lightroom 4.1 on Mac OS X 10.7.4.
I just installed Lightroom. Lightroom will not import any of my video files. After import fails to import them into the lightroom library it tells me "there is a problem with the video file" and it lists all of my videos.
90% of my videos were shot on various iPhones.
I have read the troubleshooting video
[URL]....and did not find it useful.
Google searches are not panning out either.
Lightroom 4, 4.1 and 4.2 will not accept .mpg video files. I have to Convert these files from .mpg to mp4 in order for any of the lightrooms 4--4.2 to accept the videos. Yet in the [URL].... it states : Extensions supported---MPG, so why do I have to convert all my video files to mp4??????

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can see my mts video files in Lightroom 4, but however they do not have sound. Is there anything that I could do to have the sound? (The sound is working for videos that I made with my Nikon 3100 camera, but not for the videos that I made with my Sony camera.) Also, is there a way to light the video files from Lightroom 4 to Adobe Premiere, as Adobe Premiere seems to have more editing capabilities and plays the sound from my Sony videos?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I select 5 files to rename it might rename 4 of them but not the 5th. If I try that one file by itself I get an error message saying it cannot do it. If I exit LR completely and try the file in Explorer I sometimes with still get the error message that dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe is using the file.
This is a real pain as I have over 400 video clips to tag and name and I have now spent two days on this issue.
I am using a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit,x laptop with 16 GB RAM.
I have several hundred videos I have taken, either with a Canon SD800, Canon S95, Canon T2i or a GoPro.
New videos I take on this equipment works just fine when adding to Lightroom. But when I try to import older files, I get error: video file not imported with the quantity in parenthesis.
I have tried purging the video cache, I have tried task manager - disabling dynamiclinkmanager and dynamiclinkmediaserver. Occasionally I will be able to import one or two videos after doing this but then it hangs up again.
Running Win7, LR4.1.
I don't have anything else up and running when I do this.
I've just had a problem with LR4. Instaled the full version a few days ago on my old computer. Just got a new computer where I instaled LR4 and imported all my latest work and noticed that all video (.mov) metadata were not saved on to files (Photos are OK!!!) So all editing and rating/flags/color filter I've done is gone.
Thought that I forgot to save Metadata on my old computer and did a couple of tests.
I did some rating and some color filters on my actual catalog then saved the metadata a couple of times. Removed from the Library and re-imported and the metadata were not there again. Did the same to Photos and is fine!
LR4 does not write XMP to video files?
Just lost hours of work on cuting and rating a video Job since my old computer is gone.
Have been using the Lightroom 5.3 (CC) keyword / collection functions to prepare 2'500 AVCHD video files.
How do I get them to be recognized in Premier (CC)?
Everytime i try to put a Fraps video (with the avi extension) the audio does work but the video does not, there is only the grey part which you see when you have nothing at all. When I try to open it in my documents, it works just fine.

I have been trying to do some color adjustments (b/w) to video and then export it to use in birth slideshows for my clients. Everything works great....until its time to playback the video after export...and which point I have NO audio. I have converted to a smart object and I have tried without converting it to a smart object. I have tried selecting all layers and then exporting/rendering. I have tried just opening a video and then exporting and rendering to see if it was something that I was doing in my adjustments that caused there to be no audio??... Nothing is working, though
I have read various comments (all over the web) saying that you can edit the video as long as you don't care about losing the sound...yet other sources say that you will have sound. What am I doing wrong?
I have a video that I want to work with using Photoshop CS6's new video and timeline features. To gain more control over the audio, I want to separate the audio so that it is a separate file from the video. I'm using Photoshop CS6 on Windows, but have access to Mac if necessary.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have never used any video editing software and I have a Video issue I want to shoot video with a Nikon D3100 DSLR in either 720P or 1080P. The camera produces MOV format (see more at the end of the post). I want to record the audio on a Zoom H4 digital recorder (see more at the end of the post.)
I want to combine the audio from the H4 and the video from the Nikon and have them in sync. The vid is of musicians so I need the video of the musicans hands syncing properly with the music they are playing. This will be shot in a "studio" situation. Not a concert.
I will ask the main quesitons first then give some tech specs on the gear.
1) Can the Corel X3 or X4 video software remove the audio from the MOV file and replace it with either the WAV or MP3 from the Zoom H4?
2) With two different devices recording audio and video, will there will be some differences in sync that have to be corrected?
3) Can Corel make adjustments to the audio speed without changing pitch if I need to do that to sync the audio to the video?
4) The H4 can record in WAV or Mp3 in a variety of bitrates. Forgetting the audio quality, does the WAV or MP3 format make a difference as far as syncing goes?
5) If all of this can be done in Corel does it make a difference if I get the X4 or the less expensive X3 software. At least at this point the only extras I would be adding is a title.
Tech specs on the equipment:
The Nikon D3100 produces HD video in .MOV format using file compression of H.264/MPEG-4 Advanced Video Coding.
Frame Rate is:
1,920 x 1080 (Full HD) 24p (23.976fps)
1,280 x 720 (HD) 30p (29.97fps)
1,280 x 720 (HD) 25p (25fps)
1,280 x 720 (HD) 24p (23.976fps)
The Zoom H4 can record in either WAV or MP3 in a variety of bitrates, including 44.1, 48 and 96kHz.
I am creating video in FLV (custome mode). The only audio compression option is PCM which makes video too big.
How do I add different audio compression codec for FLV video? With other video formats/codecs mpeg-4 I have many moore audio compression options, but not for FLV.
I've edited together some PAL SD video clips, that I copied and pasted from my Sony DCR-SX53ES camcorder, and auto-generated music and when I preview the project through the edit screen everything is okay. I then selected Create Video File and DVD and the output file completed successfully, however, when I play back the file both the original audio from the video clips and the added music are out of sync with the video pictures by about 4 seconds.
This did not happen the previous time I used X4 with the same camcorder and on the same PC, how to correct it.
I just downloaded the VideoStudio X5 Trial, and want to crop a 10-minute video of my baby to the minute she's singing. Her grandparents would love it.
I noticed that when I imported the video into the timeline, the audio was about 0.75s ahead of the video, when in "Project" mode. In "Clip" mode it looked/sounded fine. When I render the video, it also has the same sync problem as in "Project" mode.
Here are the details of the video:
Video type: H.264 Baseline Profile Video
Total frames: 18,430
Attributes: 24 bits, 1280 x 720
Frame rate: 29.908 frames/sec
Data rate: 11965 Kbps
Audio type: MPEG AAC Audio
Total samples: 29,736,960
Attributes: 48000Hz, 16 bit, stereo
