I want to open a photo in CS6 from LR5, but only Photoshop CC is on the list when I go to Photo>Edit in. I am unable to add CS6 to the list going through LR preferences in external editing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedLR 4.3 does not open the selected photo. It opens the PREVIOUSLY selected photo. What do you do when you select the adjustment tools, but only the plus cursor appears, meaning every click expands the image, no adjustments made. Or when I send an adjusted nef photo to PS as smart objet, but it looks different in PS? Or when I "pick"a photo but no flag appears?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I crop a photo in LR5 or 4 and open it in PS cc, the photo is not opened. If I go back and reset the cropping, then the photo and all edits made are exported and visible in PS cc
That s happening in both LR4 and 5. FURTHERMORE; if the crop is vertical , from a horizontal èpicture, the photo is opened in PS BUT the crop not maintened i.e the original sized photo is shown.
Running Mavericks, LR 5.3 LR 4,4 and PS CC
When I switch to develop from library the photo won't open. It worked when Installed the program and now it won't

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am working with the latest versions of Photoshop, Lightroom & ACR. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the links to Photoshop from Lightroom were all grayed out. for example when I right click on an image and select "Open With," it and all of the rest of the links to Photoshop are grayed out and inaccessable. I have been using Photoshop since v2 ansd Lightroom since v1. My operating system in Win 7.
Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop to reestablish the links. I spent about two hours doing that yesterday. when I was done the links were back and functional. I left the compluter on all night to make sure everything was backed up. This morning I opened Lightroom (64bit) and attempted to open an image in Photoshop for editing. All of the links were grayed out again.
So today I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom.
I use LR4.4 for cataloging my photos and most of my editiing. Periodically I will go from LR to Photoshop CS6 (like most everyone) for additional edits. Can I open a photo in ACR directly from Photoshop CS6 (not via Bridge?)
I want to go directly from LR to ACR in Photoshop without going through bridge. It seems if I have to use Bridge, I loose the connection between LR and Photoshop.
Photo Colage does not open! when selected the following window appears and lockes up the programme. I am running windows 7 Professional with 8gb ram, i5 cpu.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just purchased PSE12 today, and I got it to load correctly in my computer. The photo organizer works, but the editor does not open at all. I get the bar that makes it look like it's opening, but nothing past this point.
Windows 7, service pack 1, 64-bit OS.
Before upgrading to PSE 10 for Mac, I would select a photo in iPhoto, click on edit and PSE 8 would open with the selected photo. Now PSE 10 will open but, there is no photo open in PSE 10.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter finally running out of space on my computer I've shifted my photo library onto an external hard drive. I did this outside of lightroom as I did not expect there to be too many complications
There is a general folder named "Photos" and within are the sub folders for the photos. I did a simple drag and drop from my computer to the hard drive and expected Lightroom to simple show the new directory in the folder panel.
What would be the simplest way to re-access the files since moving them to the new hard drive?
I just installed Photoshop cs6 32 bit and 64 bit. When I click on a photo thumbnail it opens in the 64 bit version. I want to have it open in the 32 bit version. Can I do this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can I change my CS default to open in ACR instead of photo gallery which it says is not updated?
View 11 Replies View RelatedIn CS5 you could move an open photo window by click and hold and move the window to wherever you wanted without Photoshop being the active app in the forground. In CS6 you can no longer do this. You first have to click the photo/window which will bring Photoshop to the forground, then you have to click and hold again to be able to move the photo to wherever you want.
Is this a bug or a feature in CS6?
If it's a new feature or the way it's suppose to work, I vote to make it like it worked in CS5....this is not progress! Mac Pro running 10.7.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter initial install on my windows 7 64 bit system , all aspects of the software worked for about a month and then I could not open the photo editor. All other aspects of this product opens and works fine . Unfortunately I cannot use the editor or open photos previously modified in the editor. I can open the editor if I log in in safe mode but no other way. I have done 2-3 clean installs as described in previous articles, there are no errors just won't open.

Its not my computer, or the space on my computer or my video drives. I was going to uninstall then re-install but I am scared because I have the CD but not my serial number.
