Jun 21, 2013I am exporting images in emails directly from LR5. I want to see that they have been sent and to review the contents. How do I find them? Where are they stored?

Jan 20, 2014I have LR 5.3, Windows 7, 64 Bit, and Outlook 2013 64 bit, as my email client - FF 26.0 browser.When I send an email (no matter what size) from LR, I get an immediate error message "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Has Stopped Working". Then, "Windows Will close the program and notify you if it finds a solution to the problem" (which it never does).

Mar 5, 2013I have hundreds of DVD disks that I want to Catalogue. I import the files using just the ADD function into a newly created collection, yet once he DVD is ejected the files loose their path. I thought that files from external media did not have to exist on a hard drive to be catalogued. I used Portfolio before this adventure into Lightroom and I had nop problem at all. I have studied tutorials and the only discussion within these lessons is about files on connected hard drives or RAID systems.

Second question. If I also happen to apply a Preset during Import that has some of the same Develops as my Default Settings, like Lens Corrections or Sharpening, what will happen? Will the effects be cumlative/additive/doubled or will LR only apply the effect once?

Mar 23, 2013Using Lightroom 4.3 with Camera RAW 7.3 on latest MacBook Pro with 256 GB SSD harddisk, 8 GB internal memory bought 2 months ago. Hardware shows no other problems or malfunctioning, no issues with RAM or otherwise.
Started Lightroom 4.3 did an import from perfect images (viewed before using various other software packages) stored on the harddisk. Used option ADD to add to the catalog. Almost immediately certain images were showing missing areas or areas with pink/white stripes, etc.
I didn't even touch the images to view or edit them. The images were corrupted on disk as previewing them with other software packages showed.

May 31, 2013Why does checking "Profile corrections" require to select the manufacturer "Tamron" to automatically detect my Tamron 24-70 F/2.8 Di VC USD A007N? After I pick "Tamron", the lens is properly detected.
As far as I know, Exif-information holds all necessary information on the lens. The Nikon Lens ID value 'FE 48 37 5C 24 24 DF 0E' uniquely refers to that lens.

Oct 3, 2012I have been attempting to resolve this issue for two weeks with no resolve. I set up an email system with the wizard, and I receive the following error message:Connection to server has failed Acct. "charter.net' Server 'charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port:25; Secure (SSA: No: Socket Error: 10060, Error# 0x800CCCOE Or I am asked for a verification code from an email they have sent to me. When I use the code, it states, "An unexpected error has occurred." My computer is 8 years old and out of warranty, so Dell won't support and the server doesn't do this kind of thing.

I know the basic steps such as slicing up the document, how to optimize the images, save as an HTML file and images but after that it gets fuzzy. I'm struggling with how to have text blocks in photoshop show up as text rather than be an image in the HTML.
I've searched on Lynda.com, YouTube, and quite a few other sources but can't seem to find anything that goes over it in depth. I'm a novice when it comes to HTML.

Nov 7, 2013I did everything according to the instructions, defined e-mail address, got the code and confirmation of the adress, but still when I try to send meile in the end there is symbol that the computer is trying to perform this task, but the minutes passes by, and nothing changes. I have spend a lot of time trying to fix it - with no success. I use Windows 8 and Microsoft OutLook. I have no problems sending other thing. I also have Mozzilla Thunderbird om my computer, but it is synchronised to OutLook (can use both of them, whichever I want).
I bought Photoshop Elements 12 to send and edit photos. I'm close to that to give up this product, despite the fact that the rest of his functions as a judge very successful.

Jan 28, 2013I recently had my hard drive replaced by Apple and did a clean install of my programs, no Time Machine.
I have LR 4.3 and CS5. I have always chosen the Edit in PS CS5 option from LR for editing individual RAW files. When I save my photo in PS, I save it as a jpg. Once back in LR, I would have to synchronize the folder in order to import that new jpg and it would show up alongside the original RAW file. Well now, after upgrading to 4.3, synching won't see that new photo that was created. It IS in Finder, but LR doesn't see it.
I have expanded stacks and no filters. Is there anything else I have to do?
If I use Filters/Metadata/File Type, no jpg's appear.
The only way I can see the photo is if I use the Text filter and write .jpg.
How can I get the jpg to show alongside the original RAW file again??
I'm also getting the "File must be saved as a copy"in the PS dialogue, when I save as jpg. Before, it would just save it as the file type is different.

when i export the pictures alone, they are fine, but when exported in a slideshow they look dull and faded. The black appears about 70% gray (just guessing) and the colors lack any vibrance. Repeat: i have no trouble with the pictures when i export them individually. The preview looks beautiful: black black and snappy colors.
i am not seeing any options on export except as pdf or video, and i've tried changing the resolution to the highest to no avail.
it's embarrassing, because i gave them as gifts to my neighbor's family. They were shots of their mother's beautiful flower-garden on the day she passed.

Mar 18, 2012I have clipped the start and end locations on some videos. I then export them with the Vidoe setting of "Original". This is suppost to only maintain the original aspect ratio and FPS.
When I view the exported video it is the same as the original, with the clipped start and end points..If I export to a different format then the edits are included.

When I try to export them to a lightroom folder I have created on the HD, the process exports the photos, but when I go to the folder, it does not show the photos. Aug 23, 2013One of my wedding clients has just told me that *some* (about 1-2%) of the small JPEGs from her wedding don't contain any photo - they're just white - although the thumbnail displayed in exporer is fine.
To produce the small jpegs, I import the large JPEGs into a LR catalog and export them at a different size. (don't ask why - I have a good reason for doing this).

Dec 29, 2013I have LR5.3. I've only just noticed this. Not sure if it's been this way for a while or not. When I export from LR and make JPGs as sRGB they are more saturated. Also, when I view in the Web panel the images are more saturated. Is this normal?
