View 1 Replies View RelatedI use an iMac, Lion OS and Lightroom3. I store all my photo files (approx. 50,000) on a Drobo RAID system. Apple replaced my iMac HD. I connected an external 750GB G-Drive for Time Machine back-up. Since there was not sufficient memory on the G-Drive, I set the Time Maching to ignore my Picures. After moving the pictures over to the Drobo and deleting the Pictures on the iMac HD, my Lightroom files went missing. I used the Locate File option to find one of the missing files. Before I initiated this, the folder in the library showed 640 files. After locating the missing file, the folder shows 0 files. The missing file is now showing and available.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've used my lightroom 5 yesterday, and it was perfectly fine, then when i open it up today and do some edintg stuff, i observed that in my develop module the BASICS are gone or nowhere to be found, its has only the tone curve, details, hsl , lens corrections and etc. but the basics which is the most important is just gone, i've tried to retrive it if i cannot sort it out . View 2 Replies View RelatedLIGHTROOM 3.3 REINSTALLATION PROBLEM. I had an operating system problem with my pc. A friend took an image of my disc. I have the computer running again now but I dont have any of my Loghtroom edits. I was advised to get a .lrc (or something) file but that only had a copy of the very first backup that I did. I didn't backup using the Lightroom backup that pops up when closing te program. How can I retrieve all my edits, it amounts to many, many hundreds of hours work?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow to try to retrieve a corrupt lrcat file. My lrcat file AND its backup are BOTH corrupt, and will not open. They are visible. I have an iMac, OS 10.6, LR 3.3, just upgraded to 3.5 today when I started having trouble accessing LR. I've been away for 6 weeks, but the rest of the computer works fine. There have been almost no changes/writes done to the HD since my last LR backup (and idiotic deletion of additional b.u. catalogs that were only a couple of months old. A trial version of Data Rescue II found erased files on my HD from years ago but it does not find those older LR b.u. erased files.)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI do not want to re-develop 1000+ photos in lightroom.
Â
Cleaning up my photo directory, i started consolidating and moving folders around in my HDD. However in doing so, I also accidently removed one of the 'catalog folder' in my Lightroom (so the original photos are still there in the physical folder, but i can't see it anymore in Lightroom). Now if I try to import the folder back into Lightroom, all my developed settings are lost (i.e. everything reverts back to the original settings).
Â
I tried using the Find Missing Photos function and the Sychronize Folder function, both does not work with my problem. Unfortunately, my catalog backup is also a week old, so that wouldn't have my recently developed settings?
Any way to retrieve the removed catalog folder with all the previously developed settings?
I'm unable to drag a group of photos or even single photos to a publish folder. In this case it's SmugMug. What is the correct method?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI copied photo folders from my hard drive to lightroom 4 and edited them but then accidentally removed these folders from lightroom. I then imported these folders again into lightroom but all the edits I made orginally in lightroom don't show up for the individual photo's.
Â
I backed up the Lightroom catalogue regularily. Is there any way I can reattach these edits to their respective photos'. There is lot of photo's involved.
When I merge LR5 catalogs the existing photos are overwritten by the incoming photos

View 1 Replies View RelatedI add five photos to a folder in Lightroom 4.3. The photos are in the specified folder in Windows. Import shows the five photos as imported but greyed out and semi-highlighted. Library does not show these five photos. What can I do?
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo after 7 solid hours of tedious UI work I was in the middle of nudging a text layer and my whole document completely disappeared. Photoshop (CC) didnt crash, it didn't populate a new window and I didn't close it, it just vanished. It's not in the recent file list and I can't find it anywhere on my computer.
Â
I have autosave set to every 10 minutes, so I'm wondering if these autosaved files are located anywhere on my computer? Photoshop normally recovers my documents after its daily crash but as it didn't crash in this case there is nothing to be recovered!
I created two adjustment layers in a PSD image and saved the image without
flattening.
Now I have reopened the image and would like to modify the adjustments.
I do not see the layers.
How are the existing adjustment layers to be accessed in the open image?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy dvb project file was getting bigger and bigger so I decided to split it into individual files. However, I want to have one file that contains all my library images and I had hoped to reference this library from all the other projects.
So, I have a MASTER.dvb project which contains a library of images, one of which is called LOGO.
In TITLEBLOCK.dvb I want to refer to that LOGO image and place it in my userform.
When everything was together I used LogoTB.Picture = Library.LOGO.Picture.
How do I modify this? I tried LogoTB.Picture = MASTER!Library.LOGO.Picture and variations thereof but can't get it to work.
In the past we filled in our changes, we did on the part, in the iProperties of the IDW. In the IDW we use some Custom iProperties for this. That's not usefull because you want this data in the 3D-model. Now I have written some code to automate this, which works really great. This code works in the IPT as well as the IDW. But what I want to achieve is: When my IPT is the active document, I want to read out the iProperties from the IDW to check if there is already filled some of these properties, because I have to deal with 'old' documents as well.
So my basis question is: How can I read out iProperties from an IDW into the IPT. I have found lots of solutions which go the opposite direction, IPT -> IDW. I want IDW -> IPT.
I want to retrieve the Desktop Directory but i found 2 way :
1 : Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.DesktopDirectory)
2 : My.Computer.FileSystem.SpecialDirectories.Desktop
I was working on something and it just disappeared and I'd really like to have it back...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using two screens and moving Illustrator to the larger screen from my laptop so that I can see things better. I am still using CS2. One day for reasons I still do not understand, my PDF dialog box disappeared. Illustrator thinks it is there, but the only thing I can do is escape out of it. I can't save a file as a PDF, and I need to do that on a regular basis. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling CS2, but it did not change anything.
