View 6 Replies View RelatedI don't seem to have those options (show/hide Parent) when right clicking on folders in the tree. The way I have been organizing in LR4 is by creating a new top level folder and dragging the individual folders into that new folder (within LR).
I will be moving to a new computer soon and want to make sure the move goes well...
The Hide Rejcets filter has been functioning perfectly until recently. Now when selected, it shows Flagged and Unflagged photos (including rejects). How can I make this filter only show pics that have not been flagged as rejected?
Using Lightroom 4 (LR4) on iMac OS X 10.7.4
all my sliders disappeared on the develop how do i restore them like temp, tint, ect stupid i cant do this solo
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to set the filter to display only unrated and rated images so that rejected images disappear from the view as soon as I type "X" and move on to the next image. Then I want go through my rejects to make sure they are all duds before deleting them permanently, and i don't want to see them again until I do that. I can display one star or greater, but I can't figure out how to display unrated or greater Surely this is user error and not poorly designed filtering.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOK, so Sony in all their wisdom decided to hide nearly all the metadata from AVCHD videos in .modd and .moff files, which almost nothing seems to read. I don't suppose there is any way to access that data in Lightroom itself, and then embed in the file's metadata, or at least put it in the LR database??
I have also searched for a third party solution, and no beans. Sony Play memories Home can read it, but then can't do anything with it!
In a related issue, LR does show that there are the two sidecar files, but then fails to move them when the AVCHD files are moved.
It was disappointing that LR 5 didn't improve video features at all.
Where is the option to hide the selection in Photoshop CC. I don't see it anywhere?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm working in photoshop CS2 there is allways one big issue bothering me: all the menu's that are in the way (Tools menu, Layers menu, navigator, history). Does anybody know a shortcut to hide those menus all at the same time, and a shortcut to make them reappear?
Another thing that could solve my problem is to be able to zoom in outside of the picture (into the gray area), now I'm restricted to stay zoomed into the picture (so the most left pixel will also be the most left pixel in your photoshop screen, if anybody knows how to change that..
how to hide notes? I use notes a lot when I work with someone else on the same file and I place the little postits near or exactly on top of the area I'm writing about. Is there a way to hide those like you can hide guides? I'm working on a particularly note-rich file and it's starting to look like a porcupine.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI used "Hide Selected" button, when I try to press "Unhide All", that object which was hidden is still hidden or disappeared, I don't know... And I can see a form in Vertex mode(only dots and no lines).

I'm working with Rayfire and need a way to remove the fragment objects from my view so the program will run faster.
Alternatively is there any way to combine multiple scene's objects instead? (so I could work on the fragments and then the rest of the scene and then combine them.)
I am currently using old school ACAD 2002 and I can't get the x and y axis arrows to go away. How do I do that?

i want to hide this:

I have 2 viewports. 1 view from the front and another from the side. Is it possible to "hide" the front then hide the other side without it affecting what was just hidden in the other view?
This is going to be for printing purposes only.
How do you hide the toolbar? That is, the part with the little icons on it? (I never use it; it's much quicker to use the keyboard to activate menu commands than to stop and grope for the mouse each time.)
Most apps let you show or hide the toolbar, but I can't find this option in P.N.
I'm designing some business cards, which have an 1/8" bleed, along with elements that hang outside of the border of the card. Is there a way in Illustrator CS3 that I can say, "hide everything outside of the Artboard" so I can see what the finished product will look like?
I know I could print them out or output to PDF and see it without the non-Artboard items, but these approaches seem clumsy and labor intensive. I'd like it if I could have some sort of "cropped view"--where everything not on the Artboard is hidden--to work in.
When I installed Photoshop CS6 on my Mac, it gave me the option of using the keys CMD+H to hide Photoshop. Without thinking I said "Yes"
What was I thinking. I always use CMD+H to hide selections! I have been looking around in the prefs, bue can't find a way to change it back.
I am using Photoshop cs6 windows version. First of all, see this picture.
Right now I am trying to animate layer masks which are attached to individual layer groups, but as you can see, the deeper layer nest goes, the harder it is to animate , because I can't read names of keyable property and I can't extend the property bar ,like After Effects,to read the full name of key able property in Photoshop. Is there any way to avoid this problem? I really need to animate layer masks.
How can I hide the tool data box that reads out the location in Photoshop CS6? It appears when I move a layer or change the size.
It is very distracting and totally useless for me (I'm an artist - not an engineer). I can't find a setting to remove that black box.
I have not been able to find this in the view menu or preferences? Is there anyway to hide the smart cursors that are now featured in PSCS6?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently started working in the Application Frame and find that I now prefer this way of working. Is there any way to have the Application Frame hide when in another application?I find it annoying that the big, full-frame gray window persists when I'm using other applications.
It obscures the desktop and any other application windows that I'm not using, and so I can't use the Finder as I've become accustomed to using it.If there was a way to have the Application Frame hide when not in Photoshop I'd be a happy camper.
Here is what I'm doing...
-Open an image of a blue eyeball
-Duplicate layer
-Change the color of the duplicated layer eye to red
-Create a Hide All layer mask on the top red eye layer then select a brush...
I have tried white and black color, but when I paint on the mask I dont get the blue from the bottom regular layer, nothing happens and I have tried everything I can think of?
The vertical scroll bar don't really bother me, it's the bottom scroll bar that I mostly want to hide. I never use them and the horizontal one take too much space that hide some "tabs". I know I can "minimize" the horizontal one, but I have to do it every single time I start AutoCAD. So I've search a way to hide them but come with nothing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working on a rather big xref setup. The MAIN file has got about 10 OVERVIEW files refferenced in, each of the OVERVIEW files got another 15-20 DRAWING files attached.
Now when i attach OVERVIEW to MAIN it brings in all the DRAWINGS as unique xrefs as well.
Of course i want to see the DRAWNIGS in the MAIN file, but I'd prefer not to see them in the xref-manger (where i want to see only the OVERVIEW files).
An additional problem is that the DRAWINGS contain pictures on layout-tabs which are also shown in the MAIN file xref manager.
So long story short: is there a possibility to "hide" the sub-xrefs in the xref-manager?
