Lightroom :: Find Images With Modified Timestamp?
Aug 9, 2013I need to find all the image in my LR catalog in which I have modified the capture time. How can I do that?

View 4 RepliesI'm looking to filter on images that have been modified since the import. The modification could be within lightroom, or external. I have a filter setup for external files, but I can't figure out what filter to use to show files that have been modified inside lightroom.
Hopefully my request makes sense. I find I am making more changes in Lightroom (3.5) these days, and would like to filter (without setting flags/stars/colors/...) on images that I have already modified. Is this possible?
Is Photoshop able to determine whether a particular image has previously been modified in some way? Or are there other pieces of software that allow you to do that?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm interested in identifying a set of pictures in a large catalog which have been edited. There's 44K images in the catalog.
Is there some way to make a collection of only the images that were modified in Lightroom? And conversely, only those images which were imported with no changes?
What can I do so Lightroom 2 can find my images in or on my Drobo?
I get a ? mark beside my folders.
When I click on a date the images pop up but @ the top of the images the words "offline or missing" appears.
(I had a virus and had to download LR 2. Now my images can't be found.)
How do I find deleted images?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to save images from one file to a final modified one. Two problems:
1) Some images are unedited and save sometimes but not always. Why?
2) Some are a combination of an original plus a transformed close-up from another image. When the finished edited image saves, it is much smaller than the few unedited images that did successfully save. Why?
The images are digital photos of my jewelry. In order to decrease the number of pages on my impending website, I am attempting to transfer, when one is available, a resized close-up to the other shot of the full set (close-ups are what sell the work!). Some of the images show 25% on the top bar but that doesn't seem to make a difference as to whether it will save or not. Others (I notice they seem to be more horizontal images) are 16.7% ? I tried to upload example images to illustrate what I am trying to do but kept getting an error message.
I've set up iphoto to open photos directly into elements 11 editor. After making changes, how can I save the images (orginal and modified) back into iphoto?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want a keyword hierarchy with "US" as parent keyword of 50 states name keywords. I have many images with state keywords, but I also have some images that are tagged only with "US" but no state tag, as they are not specific to a state.
How do I *easily* find only the images tagged "US" but with no state tags? Clicking on "US" in the keyword panel shows me all images tagged with "US" and all with state tags, but I just want the ones tagged "US".
I can use "Find" to find "US" images NOT CONTAINING "AL AK AR AS AZ..." by enumerating all 50 states, but that's a terribly awkward way filter out images tagged with state names. I can't see a button or filter that shows only the images with a parent tag but without child tags.
I am using Lightroom 4 and developed a picture in it last week. I saved the picture onto my desktop and sent it to my client. She loved the way it looked and wants other pictures to look the same way (tone/cold color, etc). I did not save the history as a preset before I exported it out. How can I get the history back from when I worked on it last week? Is it stored in the pictures data somewhere or do I have to try and recreate the image adjustments??
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a group of about 500 images I took yesterday. I want to find all images out of that group that have a certain exposure compensation (exposure bias). I am trying to create a smart collection of these but am seeming to have problems doing so. I have set up the following criteria: Date = 2013-31-13; and Searchable EXIF = 1/3. I've tried other variations. The best I can do is get 17 images put into the smart collection, but only some of them have an Exposure Bias of 1/3; others have a bias of 0. I know I have quite a few more with exposure bias of 1/3.
How can I do this....again, I want to find all images with a certain exposure bias, either 0, 1/3, or 2/3.
I have LR 4.4.
I sometimes need to find recently printed images. Lightroom history in the develop module is great as it tells me when I last printed an image.
Is there a way to find all image printed on a given date? Or to sort by date printed?
I exported LR3 edited files as web files with a watermark on them. However, I can't seem to find the edited un-watermarked images in the Library, ony the original unedited RAW files and the watermarked web files. I need the edited files prior to my exporting them as watermarked web files.
View 10 Replies View RelatedBack in LR1 and LR2, when I tried to import images that were already present in the catalog, I had an option to show me / select the already imported images. This is gone in LR4. How can I find in the library the already imported images without fecthing them one by one ?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have taken about 500 pictures today. Imported them into LR4 and used the Develop module to update about 150 of them. Now I want to save the changes back to disk.
How do I select the modified 150 files in order to save/export them?
I did a series of shots with an incorrect EV setting ( Exposure compensation) so I used Lightroom 4.3 to modify the exposure on these jpeg files. I then exported the modified images, and found that the file size was only 50% of the original.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when we convert NEF files to DNG in it properties the Date Created and Date Modified are changed to the present date and not the original dates of the files in question. Is there any way to make such a conversion without changing these properties? Yes, I know 'Date taken' does not change--but this info does not show up when you hover a file only the info in its properties. Also am I correct in assuming that this conversion is 100% loss-less, nothing but nothing is lost in the quality and info of the file (besides the file size)?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just found that renaming presets use the "Original/Digitized Date Time", which could differ from the actual Date Time when camera battery deplished and the time got reset, or simply when having DST/Time Zone issues. Is there a way to call the modified time? I mean... IMHO this should be the default case!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a number of photos that are published via multiple services. E.g. Many of my photos I publish to Google+ (Picasa), Flickr and a local Hard Drive folder.
Whenever I modify a photo that is published via multiple services, I then have to go into each published folder and manually republish. I was wondering if there was a way to somehow republish an image automatically across all of the services/folders it is published to?
To remind me when the video was taken, I'd like to have a timecode / timestamp overlaid on the video.
Per the VS X4 User Guide: To enable timecode retrieval for AVCHD
1. In the Capture Step Options Panel, click Import from Digital Media.
2. Select the thumbnail of the video file. Click Start import to launch Import Settings.
3. In Import Destination, select Insert to Timeline or select Add video date information as title.
4. Choose Entire video to import the timecode of video file to appear as a title spanning the entire duration of the video. Choose Duration to import the timecode as a title within a specified duration. Click OK to apply the settings.
Is there anyway to get a timestamp onto the idw. I have been using the one that could be down loaded that Steve Krause had made but that one doesn't work on a 64 bit machine.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow to put on the prints, an automatically updating date and time stamp? I have 2012 installed on my computer, I have used the field command, but it does not automatically update the date and time, when you print, edit, or modify the drawing. I do know that if you publish, your drawings, you can put the date and time stamp on it, but If you print a layout tab one at a time using the plot command, you do not have the option to print the date and time stamp?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to import my photo collection (17000+) from iphoto to Elements organizer and am getting problems: The directory structure created becomes incredibly complex (many folders that include only 1 picture and many duplicates) and the worst of all is that many pictures get now as a date the new daten when they were imported. Is there a way to keep their original dates instead?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI notice that whenever I plot with DWG to PDF.pc3 the filename for the PDF always comes out as:
(.dwg file name)-(paper space name).pdf
Is there any way to change the inputs for this? Let's say for example I wanted AutoCAD to automatically insert a timestamp at the end for me, so that the filename is always:
(.dwg file name)-(paper space name)-(date and time here).pdf
This would keep me better organized and also make it easier for my less computer savvy coworkers to go through old drawings and see changes between drawings. I know I could type it by hand every single time, but why do that if there's a way to have AutoCAD do it for me
I have two satellite images that I am comparing to look for changes in topography between the two dates at which the images were taken. I was going to use the Layers Divide Mode, but the problem is that any brightness changes AND non-changes show up as white (the algorithm gimp uses is 256*Image1/(image2+1) ), so you can see if the pixels of image1 and 2 are the same, it'll give a pixel with value 256, and if image 1 has brighter pixel than image 2, it will give a value greater than 256...which gets converted back to 256. I've also looked into the Difference and Subtract modes, but they take absolute values or sets anything negative to 0, which skews my results. Basically, I'm wondering if there is something in gimp which will allow me to compare the two images, kind of like creating a ratio image in ENVI where darker colors stand for darkening over time, whiter colors stand for brightening, and greyish colors show non-changes. I want to divide one pixel value by the other, and use that value to create a new ratio image.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was given a complex children's logo (below) in AI format. When placing it in ID, I started getting resolution warnings. After some digging, it turns out that the person who created this used images instead of gradients for only some of the objects. I'm not sure why someone would do this instead of just creating the gradients in AI. However, I now need to find and replace all these images. Is there an easy way to locate the images?

'Could not complete your request because the file was not found'. The same problem occours with all file types except .psd files. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop with no luck.
And incase its relavent, each time i click open the 'enable:' option is blank and 'Format:' is set to photoshop by default. With these settings all files in my finder and greyed out, so i change 'enable' to all readable documents which ungreys them. But when i open them, i get the message mentioned at the start.
How do I find out the exact size of a graphic or image after it has a clipping mask applied in Illustrator CS4? When you just select the image or do Ctrl+A it shows the entire image size(including the masked unwanted portion) in the transform palette and I just need the final dimensions of the image. How I can find out what the masked image size is?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen working on more than one image I sometimes (accidentally) end up with a selected (loaded) image filling the edit area on screen and then I cannot 'see' (and select) the other images I have loaded. This makes me have to resort to exiting Paint Shop Pro and load the images again.
How can I 'see' and select other loaded images when this happens.
