Downloaded and attempted to install 4.4 on Windows 7 64x machine.
Received error "shortcut not found" and instruction to see if the shortcut was still there.
Cancelled install.
Went to look for shortcut ... which was there.
Clicking on the shortcut results in error:"The item "lightroom.exe" that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so the shortcut will no longer work properly."
LR 4.2 was working fine. I was just getting tired of the constant reminders to update.
I get the following error message when I attempt to update X6. Not sure what to do about it.

I've read so many forums where people's computers are just completely bogged down when running Photoshop CS6. Mine is. Two of my contractors computers are.
That's 3/3 for people who have just upgraged to CS6. Does this seem "random"? No. What's going on and why is Adobe saying there isn't an overall problem. If Photoshop CS6 is running, it completed kills the speed of the Finder, or any specific app I've got running — even illustrator.
The amount of time I've sat back just waiting for my computer to become responsive again is just absolutely unbelieveable. I've got a gazillion projects and deadlines I need to get done and CS6 is literally killing me...
After Installing Corel X6 I found it's no longer possible to edit bitmaps directly from CorelDraw X5. I uninstalled Photopaint X5 but that didn't work. I checked the filetype and made sure that cpt files were opening with Photopaint X6 but Edit Bitmap remains greyed out in CorelDraw X5. Is this because X5 is 32 bit and X6 is 64 bit? I still need to use X5 because various macros don't work with X6. How can I get Edit Bitmap to work both in Draw X5 and Draw X6?
I've had this issue with every recent version of PSE.I'm using 64 bit Windows 7.When I close the organizer, the "Elements 12 Organizer" process is left running.
This prevents PSE 12 restarting, without me manually killing the process from the task manager. I have created a shortcut to the organizer, as I know using the launcher has had issues in the past. I had a forum entry from December 2012 for the same problem with PSE11 which went away when I stopped auto-analyzer in the preferences. This seems to make no difference with PSE 12, which runs "ElementsAutoAnalyzer" anyway!
If I kill Auto-analyzer process it also makes no difference to PSE 12 Organizer restart.
I recently had to do a complete reinstall of my PC and prior to doing so used the Deactivate function. Following the reinstall of my system I installed CS3 once again from the CD and the install went without problems. Of course I now had the original version (10) installed and so used the update facility from within CS3. Following this I was presented with an error message advising that there was a problem installing 10.0.1 and Camera Raw. Despite running the installer again via the 'Try Again' button the problem persisted and so I pressed Cancel.
Following this I went to the Adobe site and downloaded the 10.0.1 update outside of CS3 and the install/update went without any problems. I also did this with Camera Raw. Now whenever CS3 starts up I get the splash screen indicating version 10.0.1 and from within CS3 (Help - about plug-ins) I see that Camera Raw 4.3.1 is installed.
However, a few moments ago the installer once again appeared indicating that version 10.0.1 was ready to be installed and so just to get rid of the pop up I clicked 'Install'. Of course I received back could not install message and I suspect that this is going to pop it's ugly head up on future ocassions as well.
Does anyone know where the fault/error lies and how I stop this pop up advising me that 10.0.1 is ready to be installed when it seems that it already is.
I have PS cs6 mac 13.0.1 and I am getting error U44M2P7 when updating to 13.0.2. I understand that others were successful by unistalling and reinstalling PS. I have tons of plugins, extensions, additional filters, and I am afraid I may lose all this is I unsinstalled PS cs6 and reinstall it. Error summary from logs is pasted below.

I tried to install the newest Photoshop update, but I get an error code: "Photoshop CS6 13.0.1.1 update error U44M2P7", and there is no information about it on Adobe's Help sections
I have tried updating Photoshop CS6 three times now and have gotten this message each time:
Of course there is no record of this error code online. I have installed and RE-installed CS6 and fussed with all of the font issues. My photoshop STILL will not update and STILL crashes on a whim whenever it feels like it.
When I updated Photoshop CS6 with the 1st update, I began to get a error message "Could not complete due to a program error". I also lost the ability to perform photomerges. Everytime I do a photomerge, I get an error message that says that "the functionality does not exist in this program". I use the photomerge frequently.
I've applied the Mac Photoshop CS6 13.0.2 update this morning, but now, I cannot open one of my working .psd document anymore, Photoshop raises a "could not complete your request because of a program error" message everytime. I've tried to open it on another workstation, a Windows one, running Photoshop CS5 12.0.4, and it's okay, meaning that my .psd file is not corrupted.
I've tried to disable Photoshop extensions from the extensions manager, but problem persists.
I am tryng to upgrade from LT 2009 to LT 2012 and recieve this message "annot update some system component now. Please reboot the machine and try again" We are running Windows Professional XP 2002 with SP3.
I have a parameters only part which drives the parts in an assembly. When I change the parameters and go back into the assembly I am getting an error. I can accept the error and drag the parts around and they snap into place, which ends the error. It works, but isn't very appealing to the eye. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm getting an error (U44M1|208) everytime I try and update Camera Raw from Application Manager. The error occurs after downloading and during installation. I've attempted several times in several different ways :
I'm also getting an error (U44M2P7) when I attempt to install from the manual installation DMG:
I've also tried updating from within Photoshop via Help > Updates... and get Error Code: U44M1P7.
I will create artwork in Corel Draw, save it and then export some elements out to another format.
Then I try to close the drawing and exit.
CANNOT DO EITHER.
I get an error that says 'Some of the documents could not be closed because some tasks..background. See status bar for....'
What the heck is going on here? I cannot close the file. I cannot exit the program. The only way to get out of Corel Draw is to end the program through Task Manager.
This update is bad news. I don't know how to go back to 6.1.
I get an error message when I try to update the Raw 7.3 update for Premiere Elements 11 and photoshop Elements. It says to run support adviser which I did, but it says that it could not detect any problems.
I tried to install the update with Adobe Updater and it failed with error code U44M1P7.I then downloaded the update patcht directly from the site and tried to install. Again error code this time U44M2P7.
I updated my CS5.1 to 64bit when I upgraded my OS to Win 7. Now when I check for updates I get an error message U41M1C212 - server isn't responding. I checked firewalls and IE settings - both seem ok. I downloaded the latest update plugin but I get a message that mine is newer (and bigger) than it.
How do update the styles library to keep from getting the Styles Conflict error box. I have used the Standard.dwg file that loaded with Inventor 2012 but everytime I change styles and save the changes in a new template in reverts back to the library definitions.
I used to be able to select 'NO' in the LIbrary option of the Projects Folder but that optiion no longer exists.
It still errors out saying lightroom can't prepare the file, worked fine with all my random applications (Nik, Portraiture, etc.) in 3. Updated all I can figure to, reinstalled, used the CS Cleaner Tool, etc. No dice.
Just updated LR 3.4.1 on a Man to 3.5. After I put the LR.app inti the App-Folder and started LR all of my presets were deleted.
They were saved in the /user/library/application support/etc. folder before and now they're gone (unfortunately I didn't saved my presets within the catalog)
I'm very annoyed about this because I have changed 12 export presets some days ago and haven't ran time machine after it.
I wasn't aware, that an update LR will kill my presets. Is there any way to get them back?
