I just upgraded to Lightroom 4.1 and now (when in Develop) all my 16x9 shot photos from my Olympus Pen are stretched vertically or squeezed looking. Any check box I'm not checking?
I am a Canon shooter but received some raw Nikon files from a fellow photographer. We've done this before and I've had no problems with his files - well, we have done this a number of times but before I used LR 4 (i.e., in LR 3 and before). With this batch, when I start cropping, the image gets stretched vertically, but is fine when I hit enter to commit the crop.
I'm trying to stitch 3 photos vertically-shot photos together (Photoshop CS5 extended), hoping the end results would be horizontal, but the following occurs:
The photo that it puts on the top should actually be the right-most photo in the pano. I tried photo merging the exact same three photos with a darker exposure, and it turned out perfectly.
I am having issues converting AVCHD Video (.MTS) videos to WMV HD 1080 30p. (16x9) When I try to use this default option the final result never comes out 16x9 widescreen. The original is 16x9 widescreen. (In the settings tab it is checked to be 16x9).Now if I use the WMV HD 720p, it will be 16x9 widescreen (using same original video).
I am pretty sure this did work fine when I first installed this software, but something has changed...and I know I have not touched any settings at all.
I found a font close to the look I want, but it is not tall and narrow enough, so I thought of squeezing and stretching the text for the right look, but I do not see how to do this in Elements. I see various warping options such as arc, bulge, fisheye, etc. but I want to simply make it taller and skinnier. I thought there might be a way to turn the text into pixels so that it can be distorted, but I do not see this in Elements.
in my requirement image should be 951x211 pixels. i have made that but when i put into my web page as a banner the image was stretched however all the other image banner has the same size(951x211) but not stretched as the one i edit..how can i re-size to prevent my image and text stretched.
I have video studio 7 SE DVD. When I capture edit and share my file and burn it to DVD, the picture looks fat and stretched whenplayed on a widescreen TV.
I have played around with some of the properties and setting on the program but everything I do has the same effect.
I can have the TV set to 4.3 and the picture is fine but of course I have the black bars on each side.
Is there a way to have it show correctly on the widescreen TV without affecting the quality?
I dont mind if it cut some of the picture out as in top and bottom, I just want to keep the picture the right ratio without stretching it to fit.
My video camera I am using is a DV cam. I think it might be half the problem as it records in 4.3 format and is playing on a 16.9 TV.
Any solid shape just tend to go to the right no matter what angle you look at it and as it seems to go towards towards infinity . This is in orthographic view I might add. In perspective view the cube ends within the screen but it far from cubical and changes its appearance as you rotate it. As you can see in the pictures even the axis graphics down to the left is messed up.
Picture one is while I am extruding the 10mm cube. The big orange thing is the arrow used to drag up from the sketch.
Picture two is just the 10mm cube. As you can see the wire frame works just fine and it event hides the edges behind the solid.
I just installed the software on this computer so I suspect it is my graphics card that simply cannot handle the 3D solids. It is a few years old, a NVIDIA Quadro FX 540. The shadows does not work either, probably because I do not have shader model 2.0 or newer. do I have to scrap my computer?
So whenever I plot a drawing the W's and M's are slightly stretched. Regardless of font. So far I have only noticed it among a few drawings in the same project.
I don't know what I did, but now when I open a text box and type in, the text looks stretched out sideways. Closing the file and closing GIMP doesn't work. When I open a pic and try to put text on it, it is still stretched.
I copied photo folders from my hard drive to lightroom 4 and edited them but then accidentally removed these folders from lightroom. I then imported these folders again into lightroom but all the edits I made orginally in lightroom don't show up for the individual photo's.
I backed up the Lightroom catalogue regularily. Is there any way I can reattach these edits to their respective photos'. There is lot of photo's involved.
CS4 Bug - Rotating jpg gets center stretched and size expanded.
What happens is I have a jpeg in a separate layer. I then shrink it to overlay on another layer. I begin to shrink and rotate it, and then at some point (seemingly a certain angle) during rotation the image's bounding box gets stretched like 500% or some gross number. How do I stop this from happening?
How can I build something that looks like a rubber membrane stretched in a spot where an invisible object (say bowling ball) is sitting on the membrane? Hopefully that is enough of a description.
How to do this effect. Extrude does not give me the desired effect. Pretty much a beginner in Illustrator.
I am engraving a company logo on to the outside of a round tube with a custom font. There are two boxes of text that I am engraving. The first box works just fine with the "Emboss" tool. The second line works fine when the "% Stretch" parameter in the text edit window is left at 100%. When I change the "% Stretch" to 85%, I get the "Self-intersecting loop found in this profile" error message. I get this error message when I try stretching it to 115% as well. I changed the font to a standard font and I was able to emboss the text no matter the "% Stretch" value.
The bottom line is Inventor will not emboss text that has a custom font and a modified stretch percentage. This line of text must be stretched to match the company logo.
In "test" mode, this block works well except for the point of the arrow. If you stretch the line under the title, then move the arrow point to somewhere else, then flip it, the arrow point and its associated grip needs to stay put.
It actually does, the first time. BUT then if you move the arrow point again and flip it again, it does not.
Then, when I inserted it into another drawing, either with "insert" or via SSM, the flip doesn't stick to the point even the first time.
So I guess my question is how to flip it but keep the point where it happens to be when the flip occurs. Like a multileader, because what I am actually trying to create here is a multileader that has an annotative block with attribute fields, to be used with SSM.
I add five photos to a folder in Lightroom 4.3. The photos are in the specified folder in Windows. Import shows the five photos as imported but greyed out and semi-highlighted. Library does not show these five photos. What can I do?
