View 2 RepliesI am using Lightroom 5 also to color grade some of my short videos as it seems to be pretty handy. Unfortunately, for some videos the export fails with the error that the hard drive does not contain rendered images. The screenshot below shows the error message in German.
As I was using the same options for many other videos before, I was wondering what causes this error. The hard drive where I have the lightroom catelog is an external USB3 hdd with lots of space left.
When I try and export a photo in LR4 I get the following message:
"An internal error has ocurred: Win32 API error 2 (“The system cannot find the file specified.”) when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute"
Even so, it does export the photo to the right directory.
What does this code mean?
I am trying to make a book (and eventually send to blurb) but I cannot render any of the photos as I always get the same message "photo named xyz could not be rendered" where xyz is a generic name for any of the 15 different photos I have tried
at first I thought it was a problem bc some of hte photos are saved on a portable drive, then i tried all the photos on my hard drive, still no resolve
I'm using LR4 and trying to export a .mov file. I have 4 files all taken the same day and two of the files export correctly and two give me this pop-up in the title. I have successfully played these videos as a quicktime movie on Windows Media Player before and after I received this message. I am exporting using H.264 at max quality setting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm saving my file as PSD I have strange error with "nice" description. The only way to avoid it is search and delete design elements - I found that its caused by one text object.
The question is what can be wrong with text object to generate this error. I can edit text and do everything with it but I cant save it as PSD. Its hard to find it in big complicated designs. I think similiar problem was in Corel Photopaint X3. Seems like it left to X6 version.Bug exists in all files with text objects.
system configuration:Win 7 Pro 64bit, Intel i5-2500, 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD SAMSUNG + 2TB on hard drives.
corel version: X6 VERSION: 16.4.0.1280
I rendered a file from render queue choosing outpuit module h.264
It all seem to work fine but when i try to play the rendered file error occurs - depending on video player - some player wont play the file one is showing time of video 00:00 but plays it in media player (windows) it is showing 23:40:00 although file is 3:11... simply rendered file is not working -

Lightroom 4.2: Error by export a picture
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I export a photo to a sRGB file, there is way to much color in the photo. In Lightroom 4.2 the photo looks good, but when I open the exported photo It looks like its to much saturated. When I export the photo as AdobeRGB (1998), strange enough the photo looks for 95% oke.
I'm using a Eizo ColorEdge CG243W monitor in sRGB mode. To ensure that it's not my monitor that's causing the problem, I've watched both photo's (sRGB and aRGB) on a standard monitor on a different computer. The result is the same: to much color in the sRGB file, pretty good colors in the aRGB file.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. My videocard is a MSi Radeon R7850. I'm using Lightroom 4.2 (system info says: [850741]).
I've just bought this system. Before I've used another computer, with the same monitor, were I've tried Lightroom 3.2. I didn't experienced any problems there. Then I also used the monitor in sRGB mode. When I exported to a sRGB file, the photo came out perfect.
I seem to have problems sizing an image and exporting. Before, I always cropped and rotated my photos in PS, but as I more and more use LR, I am finding problems.
When I export, I set my sizes W5400 x H3600 for horizontal and LR4 exports at various sizes, cutting short one size. For example I have just gone through a video and checked the correct boxes and still its fails to provide an image exactly at the sizes I want. My latest exports are horizontal 5400x3594 and a vertical 3597x5400...
If I set it at 3600 x 5400 and vice cersa, those parameters are what I set and what I want, no compromise.....is this a LR fault or am I missing something?
I'm using Adobe Lghtroom v4.0.
Is it possible to export the settings of each photo with the photo itself. Like. I want to save the adjustments (clarity, exposure, higlights etc) I made for each photo in some text file or within photo's metedata maybe. Reason being, later if I want to reproduce the same effect on same or different photo I can do so. (I'm not talkin about copy option where it copies the settings and you can apply to the oher pics.)
I'm trying to get user created profiles for my Sony cameras and lenses, as LR doesn't have very many built in.
I need to install the profile downloader, which downloads as a ".air" file. I've uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled the latest version but when I try to install the "Adobe_Lens_Profile_Downloader_1_0_1.air" file I get the message:
an error has occurred.
This application cannot be installed because this installer has been misconfigured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
When I try to export an image without LR adjustments (original or copy) from LR5 to Photoshop CC, I get this message: "Adobe Photoshop CC cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop CC works with this version of OS X..."
I'm running 10.8.5 on an iMac and have the latest updates of Photoshop CC and LR 5 installed.
For the last months, I haven't faced any problem to upload pictures from Lightrrom 4.3 to my Flickr account, but today I receive the following error message :

View 2 Replies View RelatedI get this error often when working on a photo in LR5. If I shutdown LR5 and restart error goes away, but may turn up on another photo in a few minutes. Very frustrating. Using windows 8, 4gb ram. Never had these problems on LR3. Seems like some form of bug because the photos are fine when I restart.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI use lightroom to edit the timelapses I shoot and it works brilliantly with the sync setting. But my problem is I use presets that call for the slideshow to move at 24 fps, 26fps, 30fps etc. and some of these time lapses contain over 300 photos and whenever I try to export the timelapse as a video from the slideshow module about an 8th of the way into the progress bar it stops and a message comes up that says "unknown error occurred" So my question would be: Is there a maximum number of slides you can have in a slideshow and is that what's causing this to happen?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs a photojournalist I upload my pictures to news agencies, using captions and keywords to add information to the files. While captions work fine, the keyword formation of Lightroom puts me in trouble, when I export the files to upload them to the agencies.
I would need the keywords to be separated by commas, like here:
Germany, Berlin, Angela Merkel, Politics
Unfortunately, when I export the images, Lightroom writes them without separation-commas (only puts the keywords in separate lines), like this:
Germany
Berlin
Angela Merkel
Politics
Why does my photos decrease in pixels when i export them onto a disk?

I have a preset that allows me to export my photo to a subfolder of the original folder. In my case it's simply called jpg export. This allows me to do all my edits when the shot is in it's original "Date taken" folder and all my edited shots from that folder show up in the jpg export folder when I run the preset. My issue is that the jpg shows up in BOTH the original folder and the jpg export folder. I know it's operator error but what's wrong with my settings? Under Export Location I have Export To: Same folder as original photo (this is the reason for my problem but I am not sure what to change it to) Put in Subfolder: is checked and the folder is called jpg export. Add to This Catalog: is also checked.

I have a reasonable sized preview, I can go in and look at the image, the only difference is I can't zoom in to 1:1. I want to export the preview image from lightroom, its still better than losing the whole image.
Is there anyway to do that? the usual export throws a missing file alert.
I just switched from PC to MAC and have troubles using the PC catalogues, or better: associating the images.
I copied the catalogue as well as the images to the MAC harddisk. When I open the catalogue I see the images, but they cannot be found on the disk. So I search on the harddisk for the new path but after finding it I get an error message "Die Datei "xxx.CR2" ist mit einem anderen Foto im Katalog verbunden." In English something like "The file "xxx.CR2" is associated/connected with a different photo in the catalogue."
I get the following error message when trying to export a file from LR 4.1 using Windows 7:

While trying to load a photo from catalog in Lightroom 4 Develop Module, load fails and I get message "an unknown error occurred." What does this really mean, what is the fix? Using PC and Vista.
