Jan 19, 2014I installed Mavericks and decided to update to Illustrator CC. It downloaded fine and when I went to launch it it opened up to the promo screen showcasing the new features like rounded corners and the segment editing tool etc. When I go to click the "Done" button Ai CC crashes. Nothing I do resolves this. So I ran uninstall and re-installed it and the same exact thing happens every single time.
A few points of fact:
- I have NO PLUGINS installed for Ai CC
- I do have Ai CS5 installed (Need this to access old art in my archive that is FreeHand format)
- I have Ai CS6 installed (Because most of my clients aren't on Ai CC yet)
- Photoshop CC works fine
- MUSE CC works fine
I uninstalled Ai CC again and the past two days had a MAC IT specialist come in and clean up my entire system to make sure it's in perfect condition before I downloaded and tried to install Ai CC again. My system hasn't been this fine tuned since I installed Mountain Lion, everything is working great.
I tried to install Ai CC again and the exact same thing happened it crashes at the promo screen. When I go and click the "Done" button the beach ball spins and the whole app goes down. Every single time with no exception.
Ai CS6 works fine, no problems at all.

The inane "Adobe Customer Care" on twitter isn't cutting it with their scripted responses that solve nothing and blame everything on the user.
This is really getting old and I've wasted two days of work time because what should be simple, simply is not.

Feb 29, 2012I'm trying to reinstall Photoshop CS3 from disc. Everything looks like it installs smoothly, but when I try to launch PS, it just hangs with a grey background and finallly says "not responding". I've tried to hold down ctrl-alt-shift to get the preferences menu, but nothing ever pops up. I also looked in AppDataRoamingAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS3Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings but there are no files located in this dir.

The Adobe Photoshop CC 14.1.1 (14.1.1.415) crashes immediately on startup under OS X 10.8.5 unless I am running logged into the root account. This happens when I try to run Adobe Creative Cloud.app as a standard user or as a user with admin privileges.
In other words, the only way I am able to run the Adobe Photoshop CC application is if I take the dangerious option of enablign the root account, logging into it and then directly running the application.
how I can run Adobe Photoshop CC without having to both enable and login to the root account.
Photoshop :: CS6 Crashes On Startup?
Apr 5, 2013When I launch PS CS6, I see the splash screen, and then the workspace, and then the program immediately crashes. I have verified that this is happening with all user accounts. OS is 10.7.5, PS version is 13.0.4. All of the other programs in the Production suite launch without a problem. Here is the crash report:

Mar 17, 2009I installed it updated it and it still crashes. I have a feeling its my videocard but im not sure what and why. My videocard is updated and the reason i believe its my videocard is that when i pull up After Effect "sniffer_GPU.exe" crashes. I know its a different program but any graphical CS4 program crashes.

Mar 5, 2013I have a new (cheap) Lenovo Notebook that came preconfigured with Windows 8.
With some effort, I have configured it to have an administrator account and a normal user account.
Today I downloaded the latest GIMP and installed it on the administrator account. The program starts fine (albeit painfully slowly) and seems to run normally on the administrator account. However, in the normal user account, Gimp gets part way through loading and crashes as shown in this image:
what the error message: "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual way" might mean?
After Effects :: CC 12.2 Crashes After Startup With NO Error?
Feb 24, 2014I've recently updated CC from 12.1 to 12.2 and I cannot launch it anymore. After Effects launches its UI and after 2-3 seconds it crashes without any error message or crash log. My specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core i5 3450 3.1GHz
Geforce GTX 560
Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 motherboard
16GB ram
I've already reinstalled After Effects about 4 times, deleted media cache, deleted preferences, updated graphics drivers, rebooted my PC dozens of times but I still can't run it.
VideoStudio :: X3 Crashes When Running Project?
Sep 10, 2010My VideoStudio Pro X3 crashes every time I run a project. The projects vary in length from 15 seconds to 30 minutes and comprise MP4 files in one and MOV files in another. I have applied the latest patch, but that didn't work. When it crashes I get the following error message:An unhandled win32 exception occurred in vstudio.exe [9600]. Each time the number in square brackets changes as well. I have an HP PC running XP with plenty of grunt and 900GB of disk space and 3.84GB RAM. The files are coming from my Digital Video Camera HiD with a resolution of 1920x1080. I have the latest versions of Quicktime and Bonjour.
Since purchasing the product last year I have not been able to use it and each time I fill in the contact form to send to Corel support, I hit the Continue button and nothing happens, so have not been able to get any support from Corel. There is no error message or reason for not being able to contact Corel.

Before installing Photoshop never had a problem starting up - now it crashes without fail every time. May 1, 2012Every so often when I open 2013 inventor it freezes at the startup window. the "progress bar" at the bottom gets about 75% across, then freezes. If I click on the window it, a dialog box appears that will let me close the program or check online for a solution. It has happened on all 7 machines here.

May 31, 2013our photoshop cs6 (with latest update to 13.0.4) keeps crashing daily and is not stable at all. so we would work with cs 5 again, as this version is very stable and wont crash even once in a year.
we are daily/"9-5" working at a photographers´ studio and use 2 different macs:
- brand new mac pro 6-core (2010/Westmere) with 48GB RAM under system 10.8.3
- old mac pro with Two 2.66 GHz Dual-core Intel Xeon "Woodcrest" from 2006 with 16GB RAM under system 10.7.6
(both with standard equipped/shipped graphics cards)
cs6 crashes daily whith following tasks:
- frequent crashs: using "motion blur"
- frequent crashs: using "refine edge"
- sometimes using "transform tool"
during our tests, we found out, that "disable graphics card" (photoshop>settings>performance) in the mac pro from 2006, would prevent a crash, when using "refine edge". in the latest mac pro from 2010, we did not find any solution to prevent a crash.
a "crash", we define as follows: during the mentioned tasks, photoshop is gone from the screen in the blink of second, and an osx sign appears "photoshop has crashed"..
AutoCAD 2010 :: Reference Manager 2012 Crashes At Startup?
Dec 4, 2012When I start Reference Manager, the program window opens but at the same moment a message window opens saying 'AutoCAD component has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...'. A solution is not found, so I can only select 'Close program', and the program closes. I have run Reference Manager successfully a few weeks ago, and after that I haven't installed or removed Autodesk programs. I have Windows 7 64-bit, AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 SP2 and Factory Design Suite Ultimate 2013. I cannot use Reference Manager 2013 (which works) because it saves the files in 2013 format.

Photoshop :: CC Crashes Extremely Slow When Running And Opening PSB Files
Oct 10, 2013I'm working with a 2.73G PSB file that will be printed in a large format printer and eventually end up as a vinyl wrap for a cargo trailer. I've never worked with a Photoshop document this large but from what I've read, PSB's can be up to 4G.
When I open the file, photoshop goes through the trouble of loading the file (the progress bar loads all the way) but when it trys to actually open the document, I get a message from Windows that the program has encountered a problem and has to be closed. At an early stage of working on the document, when the file was less intense with layers and blending modes, the file would open but crash when saving.
The funny thing is that my co-worker runs a MAC with lower specs than mine and the file opens and seems to run stably. I'm thinking it could be a RAM issue but according to CC spec's my machine should work fine?
On my machine, I'm running:
Windows 7 - Service Pack1
Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz 1.60
8.00 GB (2.98 GB usable)
32 Bit
I've also read that to access your full RAM's capability you have to be running 64 bit but I'm not sure about this?
AutoCAD Inventor :: 2013 Crashes When Running ILogic Rules
Mar 7, 2013I am having a problem with Inventor 2013. Every time I run/edit then run an iLogic rule my Inventor crashes. I have sent the report in to autodesk, but I need a fix for now.
I have tried a soft reboot, hard reboot, only opening inventor while no other programs are running, disconnection from the internet, etc.

Aug 14, 2013After install, LR4 tries to build a catalog. The problem is I have terabytes of images. LR uses the ADD EVERYTHING (opt out) mentality and of course fails miserably and after a few hours crashes (probably the 4GB catalog file limit). Anyway - I'd like to instruct LR to only catalog my working folder... not everything I've done for 30 years.
Bridge and CS5 don't seem to have issues like this... but I'd like to learn a bit about LR because some people say there are a few small advantages over CS.
AutoCAD Inventor :: 2014 Crashes At Launch After Install?
Jun 20, 2013I had both Inventor 2012 and 2013 (and entire Product design suite of both program versions) installed on my Win 7 64 bit Dell Precision Laptop, all working flawlessly. On recieving a copy of 2014 I decided to uninstall Inventor 2012 which I carried out through Add/Remove programs in Windows 7. Then I tried to launch Inventor 2013 and got an 0xc0000005 system error as per attachment 1.
I then went through the entire removal process to completely remove Autodesk products to do a fresh install of Autodesk 2014. This worked out and I did everything exactly as suggested here... [URL]
Then I disabled my Avast virus checker and stopped the process via task manager.
I then did a complete fresh install by right clicking on the Setup file on the Product design Suite 2014 dongle and choosing "open as administator" which I started without any issues. The installation then stopped while installing INventor 2014 with a 1406 error as per attachment 2. I searched the registry for the file mentioned in attachment 2 and deleted it from the registry and clicked retry and the installation finished without any further errors. I then restarted my computer and launched Inventor and again I recieved the 0xc0000005 error.
I then updated Inveontor with the DL21503391 update 1 from here... [URL]
I then updated 360.
I then tried to relaunch Inventor by right clicking and choosing "run as administrator" and proceeded to get the error 0xc0000005 as per attachement 1.
Obviously uninstalling 2012 is where the system 0xc0000005 issue began. I am trying to avoid a fresh Win 7 install.
