I can use the colour picker tool to get the values of a certain part of the image.
how can I set a permanent sample point on the image so that I can go back to that same point later to see how it has been altered? I've tried alt clicking shift clicking and Ctrl clicking -maybe it's not possible?
Is there a way to put a text automaticaly on "X" frames? I mean, it's so hard to copy the layer and merge it on all frames if a gif has 100, for example.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a stream restoration project and we need to determine the x coordinates and corresponding elevations along a stream alignment at certain sample lines. The centerline of the stream's alignment has been created as well as sample lines for cross sections at 50' intervals. We need the coordinates & elevations of each sample line (cross section) exported into an excel/txt document.
For instance, at station 1+00 of the alignment we have a sample line. We need to know to the right and left along that sample line the corresponding elevations and that x coordinate) from the alignment. Primarily, whole contour intervals but more information would be useful as well. I was hoping this could be automatically generated.
I placed an image and scaled it in Edge. I notice the image is exported at its original size. Can I tell Edge to downsample a bitmap image?

I want to sample color from an original Photoshop image, and create an Encore menu color set, so that my menu buttons, etc. are colored to match the main photo image in the menu. Is there an eyedropper kind of tool in Encore that would let me sample the color from the image, and then apply that to color swatches in the Encore button layers?
I have some sorta permanent "caps lock" ...im not using it when i write ...i hit Shift and still the caps r still there...i cant change it...its not my keyboard...because it only happens with photoshop cs ...

I am using MX Photo&Grphic Designer and WebDesigner. I use webDesigner to create and administer a business website and use MX2013 for my graphics (Business graphics that use a pallet of company colours). Everytime I open a new document (tab) in MX2013 I need to recreate my company colours and name them. This is also the same in WebDesigner.
Is there anyway to add colours to the permanent colour pallet so they are available for every document as a default? This small item would save me some time and the frustration of constantly needing to add the same colours to my pages over and over.
I am very new to illustrator and on my recent project, a permanent .25 unit stroke has appeared around all of my shapes. I have tried everything to delete the stroke and nothing has worked. When I select the objects, Ai tells me that there are no active strokes set and nothing under appearances either. I have attached an active screenshot to showcase my problem. The pink outline is the stroke I can't get rid of, I'm currently running CS6 under OSX.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need changing the line weights.I was given an AutoCAD 2009 file that already had the drawing created. In the Model space, the drawing has been created on Layer 0. Some of the other lines have a different layer - but most of it is created on Layer 0.My manager has asked me to simply make some of the lines bold and leave the rest as is.
When I turn on the LWT button at the bottom of my program, the line weight is extremely bold (shows "By Layer" for the line weight). I have gone back to each layer to select a thinner line weight and saved the drawing. However, when I go to print, the line weight defaults back to the “By Layer” line weight.
do I need to be in Layout space to make these changes permanent?
I have then created a new layer (with a new colour) and selected my preferred line weight – and changed the lines that I want to be thicker, to the new layer I created. When I go to print, I went into my printer settings and insured that the new layer I created and colour has the preferred line weight I want. However, when I preview my drawing, it has made all the other layers thicker, and the ones I want thinner.

We have 3 to 4 workspace settings in Autocad in which I am using Autocad classic setting. I have made Autocad classic seeting current and default in workspace setting but nowdays i am facing problem that while opening Autocad, drafting and annotation setting overcomes and always opens with drawing. (executable name) - Entry Point Not FoundThe procedure entry point __gxx_personality_sj0 could not be located in the dynamic link library libstdc++-6.dll.
Where (executable name) is any of the following:
web-page.exehelp-browser.exefile-pdf-load.exe
A search turned up [this page][URL] ...., but the problem seems to be with libatk instead.
So I searched my C drive for "libstdc++-6.dll" and found three copies of it:
- C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin
- C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
- C:\Program Files\NifTools\NifSkope
Not wanting to mess with any files in the GIMP's directory, I renamed NifSkope's copy, but the error persisted. I also removed all plug-ins from my user directory as mentioned in the other thread.
It seems that the GIMP is still functional, but it's quite annoying having to click "Ok" three times every time I start the program.
does number->string have format options? What is the equivalent of "printf" in gimp tinyscheme?
I am scripting adding axes to an image and need to control of format of floating point numbers that will be passed to gimps text generation functions.
Currently the cage tool recalculates the transformation with every point I change. This can be terribly slow for every point moved.
What I imagine would be good therefore would be to have an option for how the transformation is previewed -
1. None - useful for moving many points; might not be necessary if 2 below works well2. Low-Res - useful for getting the transformation almost right without incurring exasperating delays3. Full Quality - final checks and tweaks
(It would also be a useful extra to mark key points and see how they move, but not quite so necessary as having a low-res preview option)
Also an option if feasible to transform what's outside the cage also?
Is there any way I can erase the same exact point on multiple layers with one click of the eraser, rather than doing it on each layer individually (and having to line up that same point again)?
