I am running x6 on windows 7 64 bit. Recently Corel has started displaying (font not found) next to some of my fonts. When I open Bitsream Navigator it shows that the fonts are installed and in use. I have also checked and made sure that the fronts are installed on the computer itself.

How to get this font to work in their Corel Draw programs. I use this font for 90% of my business so you can see why it's so important that I get it to work with Corel Draw 11 & Windows 7.
I have a problem opening Font Navigator in Windows 7.
When I click the exe startup for Font Navigator Windows 7 asks if it's OK for this program to make changes to my computer. I answer yes, the screen flickers and Font Navigator fails to open.
This is a recent problem and I can't trace it to any changes on my PC. I have completely cleared Corel Suite from the computer and reloaded the applications.
I need to know the name of the UI font for Photoshop CS2. Upon startup I keep receiving the "UI font not found" error. I have over 1000 ttf and ps fonts and occasionally disable some of them; to keep that piece of Windows XP stuff working corectly. Must have disabled the font. Don't really want to enable all the fonts. The system would crash.

I often get the following message: 'Font not found on the system; missing font has been substituted' when I open a file. This is a particular problem for symbol font as, e.g., a beta would be substituted by a b. I thought that fonts or subsets of fonts were automatically embedded when the file is saved (this is what seems to happen in CS5 and CS6 when you save in ai format).

I noticed that the title block text style is "standard." When I try to set the font in standard to the true type font, the font does not appear in the list.

View 13 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded to Windows 8.1, PSE 11 no longer finds my IOGEAR GFR209 card reader with an SDHC card in it when I try to import pictures - with Windows 8 I had no problems. I get the message "Device Not Found" in Photo Downloader when I go: Organizer > File > Get Photos and Videos > From Camera or Card Reader. I tried doing a "Refresh List" but it made no difference.
I can though, see the reader, SDHC card and all its image files in Windows File Explorer, so my PC is recognizing the device. I also tried re-insalling PSE 11 and then updating it by going Help > Updates ... but it made no difference.
Everytime I open up a file in Photoshop, it says, 'Linotype Fontexplorer version fc4 or newer cannot be found'. I recently deleted that program, how can I get Photoshop to stop looking for it?

So I think I'd like to approach this from the other direction. I have a font I like but I don't want it to look like the font (way too common). Is there a way to alter the font (not the entire font set or even to create a new font but just for a one word Logo)?
I'd ideally like to connect two of the letters and also modify the shapes of the letters just a bit.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was using CorelDRAW X6 when we had a momentary power outtage. When I rebooted and attempted to reopen Corel I received the following message,
"Valid workplace file not found at path specified."
I uninstalled and reinstalled Corel and still get the same message. I don't know how to fix this. Must I save all existing files on an external drive and use the "Restore" disc to start all over?
I just reinstalled CorelDraw 12 on my new computer, but I can't open it. I get the following error message: "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified. XML document must have a top level element."

View 4 Replies View RelatedI really like the new font anti-aliasing modes in Windows, but i got one big problem: If i rasterize text its gets a bit thicker and lose all it's touch.
Here's an example: (rendering was: sharper. the top one is the non-rasterized text. looks a lot better). Test it on your own... just zoom into your type and rasterize it, then you see how its gonna change.
I have Arial Narrow Bold etc. installed in the Windows fonts folder but it still doesn't show in Photoshop CS6. Arial Narrow shows but not the bold version. It shows up in InDesign, however.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy colleague and myself have a problem with the font Lucida in the header of a plan we designed. He's running Windows Vista and I am running Windows 7. I designed the header, but now he has to make some additional plans with that same header but if he opens the file with that header, strangely enough the font Lucida he uses is not exactly the same as the one I've used although the properties show they're all the same. Another colleague with Windows 7 has no problem with it. As you can see in the attachments I've added, the '1' is not exactly the same as well as the '-' so texts don't fit the boxes they're in anymore. We also can't really alter the font, seeing as Lucida is the font our client uses and requires for this project. We've tried overwriting my colleague's font by my LUCIDA-font in the location C:WindowsFonts but this didn't resolve the problem either.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'd have thought (since this has been a problem since 9 and that HD displays are fairly common now) it would have been addressed. I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).
