When I press the "sign in" button, either from the menu or icon in the lower right hand of the main screen, nothing happens. Normally a dialog box would open and allow one to login, but not the case for me any more.

Or is their entire catalog already included when we install Inventor? I'm looking for ferry cap screws but haven't found them anywhere. I'm thinking I will have to create them myself and add them to the content center. I'm using Inventor Professional 2013.

I'm trying to copy a little box, just changing the content from a tick to $ sign. I cannot change the original as it is an image from the web. How do I go about creating it from scratch with Gimp?
I need a white background, rounded corners, shadow and the dollar sgn "$" instead of the green tick

For a while now whenever I open a new assembly the default is place from content centre, I use the drop-down and select place.
Today I needed place from content centre and it just doesn't come up.
It is loaded/automatic in the addins.
If I open my projects, in the bottom right corner where I would usually click to acess my installed libraries, I click but it does nothing!
I also noticed studio and BIM are greyed out, but I have started to play with Showcase so not really a problem. I need to set up a read/write library soon, so it's going to be a problem.
It's installed but when I look at DVD templates I only get several choices and it's trying to download the templates - I thought the content disk contained many more...how does one access that content?

I have installed 237 MB offline help setup for AutoCAD 2013. But I am unable to access the offline help dialogue box in contents form.

Why is access to the Content Center only available in the Assembly Environment?
Surely I can't be the only one that could benefit from access to the library when creating a single tube or beam or angle bracket etc..in the part environment.

Manual sign in through Help/bottom-right icon doesn't do anything. Though I can sign in to my account through Help-Account Settings. Tried closing/relaunching X6, even restarting my computer to no success.

Problem is, my Win 7 is 64 bit, holy smokes! so the two wont work together.I cannot even download the plotters installation process. Was told that Corel Draw can bridge the two correctly so I am leaving Letter Art and joining the Corel Draw family. I have a few questions concerning this matter. First, can Corel actually bridge these two? Second, Letter Art saves their files as gnt, showing up in My Documents as sym (go figure) so knowing that Corel can import all types of files, can they import pcx, sym and/ or gnt as well?

I'm trying to Sign In inside CorelDraw X6 using Help->Sign In. A new windows pop up requesting my email and password. I indicate my credentials and click on "Sign in". But then I get this error: "This program cannot display the webpage. Most likely causes:You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address"
But I am connected to internet. If I click on Account settings it works. The main problem that I have is that for any updates I need to Sign in but I get the same error!
I am trying to make chaser lights on a sign look like they are flashing in sequence. (Like the arrwos you see on the botom of signs) There are 4 seperate drawings with the only changess being in the lights. I've been reading the book and watching the videos but it's still over my head.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCorel X4 and all other versions before, Autocad & 3DS Max, create nifty graphic in Corel, export as image (jpeg 90% of time), Hit render in Acad & 3ds, tweek graphic in Corel - export again, hit render again, over and over and over until result is satifactory.
Corel X5, same process UNTIL I render once in Acad or 3ds, then try to export same jpeg from Corel then bam, "Cannot access file because it is being used by another process", this has to be a joke, right ? I have to shut down Acad AND OR 3ds then export out of Corel, then launch and reopen Acad & or 3ds file.
This is what I do at work all day long, I currently have reinstalled Corel X4 just so I can continue to work.The exported file is not being edited or used at the time I export form Corel, Coreldraw THINKS it is being used. The file is only being used during the time it takes to be rendered, I have been doing this for years and have never got a file locked message before.
Things I have tried to remedy this.
1. Look at the security properties of the actual exported image file, everything is set to full control for everyone & I dont see anything about file locking.
2. Scanned the "options" & "customization" section in Coreldraw, I cannot see anything that would control a setting like this.
3. Unchecked all options in jpeg export dialogue except anti-alias, I knew this had nothing to do with it but you leave nothing left to chance.
I cannot think of any program that a typical user may have on their Windows machine to test this out, I know when you open an image in an editor like MS Paint, you of course cannot overwrite the image file from another program, that is what Coreldraw X5 believes is the situation, but it is not.
export a jpeg from Corel X5, click on the jpeg and it will open in Windows Photo Viewer, keep it open in the viewer then change the graphic in Corel, export it again to the same file name, it will ask if you want to overwrite it, say yes, it WILL NOT say that the file is in use, export it, then close the Windows viewer, open the same file in the viewer, it has not changed from the original export, THAT is crazy beyond words, I have never seen a process on a computer being completed with no error message while the process was never actually done, that goes beyond the current intelligence of computers, and I believe this is the crux of the problem.
I have a full version of the X5 graphics suit and now I would like to install it on my notebook. However, I have only 3 GB hard disk space left, so I wanted to install X5 without the extra content. But I cannont find an option in the installer where I can switch the extra content off. It seems that it always wants to install the 6GB extra content. Required hard disk states >5GB, even when I deselect everything. Hence, I cannot continue the installer.
How can I get a minimal installation of the X5?
I have the Guidebook, that is COOL! but does Corel sell a printed content manual? I would love to have that PDF content manual as a printed book. I know it would be 414 pages but it would be cool.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to X5 and now suddenly I am having difficulty printing to my dell 3110cn laser printer. I get the error, "Unable to access printer driver. Try removing and reinstalling this printer driver". If I click OK I get the error a couple of more times followed by "Internal application error." Then Corel Draw crashes. My PC is running Windows 7 64 bit.
I have tried re-installing the printer driver with the latest from dell and uninstalling and re-installing corel draw, but nothing has worked. I am about ready to go back to X4.
Coreldraw X6 seems to be much much slower when editing text content.
When I work on a product brochure with a lot of text involved, CorelDraw become very low responsive when I edit the text e.g. select, move, typing, etc etc. It happens to both paragraph text and artistic text.
Btw I'm running X6 on an old XP machine.
When I export my graphic to a jpeg, some of the content disappears or the stacking order changes.

On one layout, some items on a printable layer do not appear on the Print Preview. The page contains a monochrome bitmap, some text and a curve. Only the bitmap appears on the print preview, yet everything prints.
It doesn't happen with every job. Not a big deal on this job, but there will soon come a time when I need to know what will and will not print.
Some how I'm stuck on this issue; I need to save/export (pdf/jpg) a few pages which includes content outside page border. It seems to be impossible to save page content - inside the page border - only.....?
I can't remember having problem with this before....?
Using CorelDraw X5 15.2
is there a way to centre or align some content of a power clip after it had been dropped in without extracting the whole content and putting it back in ? Like using align and distribute but that seams not to include a relationship to the clip container.
