CorelDRAW X6 :: All Formats On Open Dialog
Sep 16, 2012I don't find "All Formats" on the open dialog.
View 4 RepliesI don't find "All Formats" on the open dialog.
View 4 RepliesHow do I go about saving the settings on the open dialog box? It keeps moving to different locations and it keeps changing the Name / Date modified / Type / Size columns very narrow where it only shows the name and nothing else.
I do have the dialog box very large across so it can accommodate what I want including the preview.
In my image adjustment dialog (photopaint X5 Brightness/Contrast/Intensity) the image is far too small.
The actual image is about 5.5" x 2.8" and in normal view is fine. when I open the dialog to adjust the whole image is collapsed into a few pixels.
I have shutdown and restarted Photopaint but the problem is still the same.
I"m a newbie to Draw. I normally use Inkscape or AI.
I am trying to communicate with a print shop. I can only speak with customer service, not the art dep't. No matter what file I send, the message from the art department is that they need a vector file. I have sent .svg, .ai, and .cdr, ensuring that the entire area is included and that nothing is rasterized. Everything is paths/curves.
I'm using the latest Draw and AI. I"m trying to find out what version of Draw they are using.
I'm at a loss as to why these files aren't opening as vectored art. I have even suggested that they ungroup and look at it again.
When I open the file.psd to edit or file.jpg (Any file type) The program will appear the dialog and then When I click "OK" to close this dialog. After that, it will appear the dialog to close program.
I could not continue to work.I must close and reopen the program. (Do not open the file.)
I am trying to save a CorelDraw X5 file in Adobe Illustrator, so I can bring it into Illustrator CS4 to work on it in Illustrator.
It will only save in CDR format. Whatever different file format I try I get a message "No object to Print, Export, or Save" I originally grouped it and saved it in CDR.
For some reason, my X6 crashes whenever I attempt to export an image to JPEG. What settings (if any) need to be changed?
View 12 Replies View RelatedCorel X4. While the images on my screen appear as I want them, and will print true to their colors on my printer, when I convert the files to pdf, jpg or eps formats to send out, the colors lose their vibrancy and appear (and reproduce) washed out. It seems as though it's something in the conversion process.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I select "Save As" or "Export", the list of available file formats is only a fraction of what the help file shows as supported file formats. The help file instructs me to use the instructions in "To modify or repair a CorelDRAW Graphics Suite installation" but this does not work. How can I get or verify that all the file format filters listed in Supported file formats are installed in my CorelDraw 15?
Right now I am particularly interested in saving a CDR in the Visio (VSD) file format, but I would like to have of them available.
I'm having a problem throught CS6 with the Open, Save, or Save As dialog boxes not opening for a period of time after clicking on the desired functions. It can take over a minute just to get the Open dialog box up to browse for a file. Eventually, the dialog boxes open, but during the time that it's trying to open, the program is unresponsive. It is happening with all of my CS6 programs. I have unistalled and reinstalled with no fix. The programs are updated.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I open Photoshop CS3 I am able to drag an image from a Windows Vista folder into the Photoshop window and the image opens in Photoshop.
If I go into the open Dialog Box within Photoshop and select an Image I cannot drag the image into the main Photoshop window I must click on the "open" button.
I have a photographer friend who says he use to be able to work this way and for some reason it no longer works. I suspect he is wrong.
Is this normal or is something not working correctly.
I use CS6 on a system that utilities two monitors. To maximize the amount of screen on Monitor 1 used for viewing my photos, I have arranged the workspace so that my history, actions and other panels are on Monitor 2.
However, whenever I open a window, for example Image->Adjustments, it always opens the window or dialog/settings box on Monitor 1, over the top of the photo that I'm trying to edit. I then have to drag the window across to Monitor 2 manually before making the necessary adjustments.
Upon shutting down the window and then performing another adjustment, the new window doesn't 'remember' that I had last shut it down on Monitor 2, and it opens on Monitor 1 again.
Is there any way of getting CS6 to open these windows and dialog boxes on Monitor 2 by default?
Just thought I would post this because I have been looking for a working VBA file open dialog box solution for awhile. I'm an old autolisped making the jump to VBA and I have seen and read various solutons for the equivalent getfiled autolisp function but I never had much luck with them. This one worked for me it uses the Win API to do the job.

Under my install of Vista Enterprise on an AD network, I'm am not getting the "computer" option to access local and network drives when I select "File/Open". All I get is the redirected "home" directory for that user. True for all Adobe applications (have the latest Creative Suite 4). Other Windows apps using Windows file/open dialog box can get to the network. Tech support said I should have an option to select the OS dialog box, but I do not see that on my install.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed architecture 2011 last night. When I installed it, it did not remove my 2008 verison. So all my files are still opening the 2008 verison. I do not have much space on my hard drive, so if I uninstall 2008, will there be a problem with 2011?
Is there any reason to keep the 2008 version?
Second problem: in 2011, I click on the open button and it does not open a dialog box. It only gives me a line in the command line. same thing happens when I try to save as.
Recently, My revit does not load families. The process I use is the following:
In the Build area of the home ribbon, I select the Component button. I going to the Place component ribbon. When I select Load Family form the Mode portion of the ribbon, the properties box pops up. It is locked at this point and I cannot do anything but hit escape. The program functions just fine in all other aspects. I have used a vanilla project to see if the project I am working on is corrupted and I get the same results.
Why in Photoshop & Illustrator CS6 "Open" and "Save as" dialog box style is from Windows XP?
In AfterEffects, Audition and other is new dialog box style:
Can Adobe add in "Preferences" - option with checkbox for users Windows 7/8 who can use the new windows explorer with extended folder bar? That would be simplified and speeded up a lot of things.
Photoshop is unusable for me. I was running CS6 but it kept freezing when I tried to open a file. I uninstalled and installed CC -- same problem. I checked the preferences to see if there was a setting for an Adobe file dialog and it froze again.
I suspect it has something to do with Mountain Lion 10.8.4 but I don't have this problem in other Adobe apps. Ran Disk Utility, verified permissions, verified disk -- everything checks out. Not sure what to do.
I can not open the Photomerge dialog window. When I click on it, a message tells me that photoshop has stopped working and it closes.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a user with AutoCAD LT 2007 SP2. Whenever he clicks on File > Open... the drop-down list to browse to another directory is blank. It doesn't show any local or network drives. He can open files just fine from Windows Explorer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem that my file dialog box won't open when I go to open, new or save as. When I hit open, new or save as the command bar wants you to type the file name. My co-worker told me to type CMDDIA and change it to 1. But that didn't work for my error. How to fix my AutoCAD issue. I attached a .jpg of what the command bar looks like when I hit the open button.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI try to open anything in Photoshop CS, the dialog window shows up for a fraction of a second and then disappears. Photoshop then immediately locks up as if the window is still there and I need to make a selection from there. Only way to do anything at this point is to CTL-ALT-DEL and close Photoshop.
I can't think of anything I installed on the laptop lately, Photoshop has run without incident for months on this machine. The other items in CS don't seem to have any problems at all either.
In AutoCad 2006, when I want to open a new or existing drawing or template, instead of regular dialog box I receive only a prompter dialog which is present in the command line also, asking me for the name of the drawing that I want to open; it is the case also when I want to save a drawing too. I already checked the "Options" under the "Open and Save" tab and everything looks to be in order. How can I resolve this bothering problem since I am able to perform the above tasks only accessing "Windows explorer"?

View 1 Replies View Relatedsince some weeks i have a real curious bug in 3dsmax.With less words: Everytime i want to open a File Dialog Window in 3dsmax it crashes directly after the mouse click without any warning. It is like something has killed my 3dsmax.exe process. In other words: I can't work anymore. Some examples for the File window are:
File --> Open
File --> Save as
MAXScript --> Run Script
and so on...
The only way i can save my MaxFile is to overwrite my existing File by pressing "CTRL+S"..Another curious thing is, that it seems to happen with random max files. If i work on a new scene everything is perfect, but after a week this problem happens with this scene too.First i thought that this problem occurs only on my computer, but yesterday another worker of our company had the same issue on a max file, which i have never seen before. Both of us haven't installed any software the last weeks.Another idea was, that we have a new windows hotfix, which occurs this issue, but all of our other machines are up to date too.
1. When i double click a .MAX file , the new windows of 3ds max opened, although there is already have a 3dsmax window i opened before That means i want to open the .MAX file in the existed 3ds max window -which i opened before (without have to drop .max file into 3dsmax )
2 .How to disable this dialog when drop a 3d model file to 3ds max ? it's annoying when dropping .max files and this dialog appears ,we have to click many times
i want it to choose : "open file" as default , how to do it and when we want this dialog appear again ,how to do that ?
and the same with this dialog : when i use ctrl+N( new scene) how to make it choose "New ALL" as default ?
When I click on formula cell (on QTO manager) C3D ask me for a name & path for the formula file. Ok.
I would expect the formula editor dialog box but I see nothing ...
If a do click or couble click I have the same peticion "Choose a file for formula".....

My AutoCAD (2013) don't shows the preview in open dialog. I read something about edit a value in Regedit, but I don't have access to Regedit. Has other way to fix it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn AutoCAD 2012 when the File Open Dialog Box is displayed there is a drop down option list called Views and the option at the bottom is Preview. That's the same in both the English and German versions of AutoCAD, other than in German its called Vorschau. When the option is ticked (checked) a preview is displayed, if it is not ticked then no preview is displayed.
In AutoCAD 2013 this option for Preview does not exist because the Preview is always there.
OK, how do you see this in your version of AutoCAD 2013. Who sees the preview and who not?
Or, is there a setting somewhere that controls the visibility of the preview. I don't know, but I would like to know.

Is it possible to open the iProperties dialog from the api for a specified document, not necessarily the active document.
