CorelDRAW X5 :: Screen Printing A White Under Base
Jun 8, 2012I am trying to print a white under base film for my image to screen print on a dark shirt. I read it is best to choke the image so it is a little smaller and the white does not peep through once the color is placed on top. Is there an easy way to create this base image? I am having a hard time copying or duplicating and making it smaller.

May 6, 2011know of a macro available that will search a document for any form of white fill (rgb, cmy,cmyk,greyscale, etc) and if it finds any of those colors, it will automatically change those white fills to a Pantone White Spot Color?
I'm aware on the Oberon Color Replacer, but I'd like a macro that is more simple and will do all of this with a click of a button or keyboard shortcut.
Photoshop :: CS3 White Screen / Freeze
Jul 11, 2008at start up and/or after a few minutes in photoshop CS3 it freezes, goes to white screen and hangs and becomes useless. it starts off lagging like if i turn layers on and off takes a moment to change, if i mask something marquee slowly moves or stops moving altogether, flip between different workspaces, open and close files large and small, any of those it freezes and dies having to force it to close. i have photoshop CS2 also installed and it runs fine. everything else CS3 works (illustrator, acrobat etc.)
things ive tried:
1. reinstalling: ver10 of disk does this as well as 10.1 update
2. delete preferences: from docs and settings as well as thru Photoshop
3. cache purge
4. yelling
5. change scratch disk: i have 3 internal drives
6. memory test
7. turn anti virus on and off
8. change page filing size

Dec 26, 2012I recently had my desktop computer crash ( it is a gateway ) and had to wipe it clean and re-install everything. I have Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium. Since re-installing Creative Suite, Ps has begun having issues opening files. Ps will usually open the 'first' file as normal; however, any subsequent files that I ask it to open just open as blank screens that are either black or white. It has also begun freezing on me for no apparent reason. As I mentioned above I have a gateway desktop with a Core Intel i5 processor.

Jan 30, 2014I'm using Premiere Pro CC on Windows 7. I previously was able to import and edit clips via exactly the same workflow - but now, not matter what clips I import, they all appear as the 'white screen'. The thumbnail is a frame of the video, but as soon as I mouse over, scrub, or try to play the clip, it turns totally white. Audio will play fine though.
I'm almost positive it has to do with using an AOC display that plugs in via USB. This is based on a similar issue I had using that display on a Mac and having part of a Blackmagic Design software UI not appear while using that screen.
I've tried lots of things, including updating the driver for my graphics card, from the manufacturer's site. I can try - especially a way to undo whatever was done when I plugged in that USB display (worked without manually installing any drivers).

Dec 23, 2012I've been trying to make some GIFs but when I try to import the video frames to layers it shows a white screen instead of playing the movie.
All of them work on windows media player but I've heard that a lot of it has to work on QuickTime.
I've already updated the program but it still won't work. A friend of mine also told me that it might be the format of the video. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

AutoCAD 2013 :: Black Screen / White Windows Cursor After Crash
Jun 28, 2012After an AutoCAD/Windows crash, I reboot. The system begins to load Windows (Win 7 splash), then the screen goes blank and a white Windows cursor appears -- nothing more; no desktop or taskbar.
Control-Alt-Del does nothing, however, the HDD light continues to flash as if it is continuing to boot. The same thing happens when I boot in Safe Mode (except cursor is larger due to different resolution).
I can boot from bootable CD and everything works fine. HDD scan and memtest both pass. I formatted the drive and reinstalled Windows and AutoCAD and everything works fine. However, two days later, the same exact problem occurred on the second of five workstations.
Details:
Win 7 Professional 64bit
MS Office Home and Business (with Outlook configured for IMAP)
i7 processor, 6GB ECC RAM, Nvidia Quadro 600 w/1GB RAM.
AutoCAD 2013 was originally loaded from a trial version, then purchased license key installed.We are using Xref on a file server and opening drawing on a file server across a ethernet Gbit lan.
Maya :: Unable To Marquee Select In Viewport 2.0 - Blank White Screen
May 3, 2013Whenever I attempt to marquee select (click-hold and drag a box) in Viewport 2.0, the viewport becomes a blank white screen and instead of drawing a box my mouse draws a single thick line. When I release the mouse, the viewport will not return to normal until I move the camera. It actually does perform the selection that I would expect. However, not being able to see what I'm doing is a bit of a pain sometimes.
The irony is that it actually works fine in default and high quality modes, but I'm not able to use those because the transparency sorting is really wonky and doesn't let me see what I'm trying to work on from the angles that I need. Only Viewport 2.0 solves that problem.

Sep 25, 2013For my business card design I have white text overlapping an area of very white grey- causing readability issues (insufficient contrast). It looks great apart from this one problem, so I still want to keep my white text and light background and fix it by separating the text and background with a darker drop shadow..
First, I added a black drop shadow to the text- but this was not enough to increase readability (text still looked faded on background as drop shadow was too subtle at 85% opacity, 0.04" blur) so I added a drop shadow to my drop shadow (100% opacity, 0.02" blur + 18% opacity, 0.02" blur). This produced a heavier drop shadow effect for my text as desired but, for some reason, the text came out slightly grey in print (offset run). It seems the drop shadow somehow got printed over the text itself to some extent- turning the white text somewhat grey (and so not looking as clean as intended).
How could this dropshadow bleed into the text happen? Is it to do with the fact I added a drop shadow to my drop shadow? I would have thought that, even then, the text should entirely overlap all of the drop shadow as the text is the top layer in the group.
What can I do to ensure that drop shadow does not print over text in any way in future? Do I have to stick to only one layer of dropshadow-or is there something else I'm missing?
AutoCAD Inventor :: 2013 Dual Screen - Jumping Browser From Right Screen To Middle Of Left Screen
Jun 3, 2013I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
CorelDRAW X6 :: White Become Yellowish
Nov 15, 2013I was normal used Corel DRAW X6. Than one day when I run Corel DRAW X6 it become yellowish. After few days of exploring a problem I come to next conclusions.
When I use Corel DRAW X6 in Enhance or Pixel view, color of background and color palette is yellowish. In other views, color of background is white but color palette is still yellowish. Also if I run Corel with Default workspace, everything is OK, but if I run Corel with my workspace, I have a yellowish problem.
Apparently, in my Imported workspace, Corel DRAW X6 use System Default Color Profile - LG W2486, even if I set in Corel to use sRGB profile.
Probably problem is in my workspace. find where is the problem because I have a lot of changes on Workspace so it would be pain to build workspace again.

Jul 20, 2013The advanced color popup is off my monitor and nothing I have tried will bring it back. Without access can't select any colors accept the default palette. When I select Advanced the popup is not visible. Just get a ding if I try to click anywhere. Pressing return apparently closes popup so I can proceed.
I have three monitors. Have tried making window small and positioning it on the various monitors. Have tried a Repair Installation. Don't have disks for a complete reinstall because product was a downloaded buy.
