View 0 Replies View RelatedI want to attach image in Autocad 2010, i know the procedure to insert the image (.jpg,etc.). But my problem is that i dont want to send its original image that i used from my hard disk.
Is there any way to send drawing without sending its image file or wothout doing etransmit the file.
I had a few glitches with my system which I resolved but a casualty has been Corel Draw X5 which has always run perfectly well but I guess.I have tweaked something in fixing the other problem and now it will not run.
If I click the icon within Program Files nothing happens. If I double-click a .cdr file which should be opened in Corel I get the error message "there was a problem sending the command to the program". I've un- and re-installed several times, even gone through the registry and removed all references. There is no appdata for the program, each time I reinstall it's a clean install, so what am I missing?
At install stage, I get asked for my serial number, which I enter, then the install continues. I never get as far as the activation stage as the program never starts. I don't think it's a Corel issue anyway, so much as a Windows 7 issue.
working in Cad 2012, and used to 'bind' images to the file, but can't find that function. Doing standard details and need to include the images in the file for access on a global drive, so it has to be a self-contained file.

It seems as though I have a button pressed or something turned on but cannot figure what is wrong.
I want to send several graphics to someone by PDF. I think I can do it with Corel Draw, but I want to send a number of JPEG or Tiff graphics all in one PDF file via ONE e-mail.
I think I can do it with graphics in CDR format, BUT, I can't find any instructions on how to do it with any kind of RASTER graphic!
Unfortunately, the people I want to sent them to can only receive stuff in JPEG or Tiff, but NOT in Corel Photo-Paint. I know I can send the graphics one at a time, but that's a bit tedious!
Tried to Save As - Adobe PDF in the hopes that I can email that file to printer or others to view. Comes up blank.

Is there a way to permanently attach a raster to a .dwg? I want to publish a large set of drawings on our Intranet and some have rasters attached.
I don't need to worry about links to references and how to post them so as not to break the link.
im trying to send a dwg file with pictures which but the pictures dont show up. i created a zip file using the etransmit option and the pictures show up in the file but you can not see the actual picture on the dwg file, only its path. is there a way i can send the file that the picture shows up on the dwg?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am currently using AutoCAD LT 2009 on my home computer. My client also has the same AutoCAD at a different geographic location. When I generate a drawing file at home and send it to my client’s computer via email the drawing appearance changes. It appears as though the .dwg file is corrupt in some manner. My dimensions are not in order the font has changed in scale and in type. Most of the text is just inadvertently scattered about.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am attempting to attach a title block into a layout. This is my process:
1. Go to Building1 drawing, and go to layout. Without any viewports created, I attach a dwg file named titleblock1.
2. When I specifiy the location and scale, I cannot find the attached drawing.
why can't I attach files larger than 1.5 KB? I can't attach anything useful!
I'm new to Lightroom and was attempting to prepare a file to send to a print lab. I want to produce a large format single image with dimensions of 52" x 36". I've prepared this in the 'print' module but when I press 'print to file...' it warns me that the file is 760mb and I may run out of memory! Is this file to large to sent to a printer, how can I reduce the size of the file without reducing the quality of the print? or is this just a standard file size for a large format printed image?

I have a humanoid mesh (it was originally a editable poly, but I think I converted it to an editable mesh), and I have a bipedal rig (the Man variant of the default) that is fitted to the mesh. I just cant figure out for the life of me how to attach the mesh to the rig. All of the tutorials I've seen are for older versions of 3ds, and use physique. When I apply physique to the mesh and hit "attach to node" nothing happens, and its all downhill from there. Could one of you good people point me in the direction of a tutorial for 3ds Max 2013?

The problem i am having arises when i go to attach it to the Track Alignment DGN or the OCS DGN. It says that my drawing is in international feet while the others are in US Survey feet. How can i fix my drawing so that it is in US Survey feet, when i turn it into a DGN.
View 0 Replies View RelatedI am sure this is a setvar that has somehow gotten switched on, but when I copy entities to a point on a line or object, it seems to bind or attach itself to that line/object. So when I try & move or stretch the entity, the line or object that I used as a ref point also moves.

I'm trying to attach a photo to text so it looks part of the text but I'm not sure how its done. Is it possible? I've tried to google it and found no luck in doing it, as I probably was putting the wrong keywords in the search box.
I tried both linking and using a point attach constraint, which attached the hair to the head, but when I add a walk cycle everything goes and the body leaves the hair behind.
I can't find any tutorials for attaching spline hair!
I am preparing 3D model of a 354 acres campus area. I am using AutoCAD Map 3D 2011. I have extruded all the building as AutoCAD drawing objects. I have also imported DEM of the area into AutoCAD. Now, how can I use this DEM to specify the Earth surface elevation or surface profile of my 3D building models so that all my 3D buildings read the Earth surface profile information from DEM.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI know DXF files can be saved as DWGs then used as XREFs but that isn't the goal we want to achieve.
We are a big steel fabrication shop and we run a plasma machine that accepts DXF files. What we want to do is be able to draw our parts as a DXF ready for the plasma then XREF them into an overall drawing to assure all of our pieces line up. Each piece will be a separate DXF.
We want them to be XREFs so that if one needs to be manipulated it can be done on the spot without having to reattach a block. The more files you have to open and manipulate the more room for error.
The only way I can come up with is to draw all pieces as individual DWG files, then XREF each one into their own DXF file as well as XREFing them all into an overall file to check that they all line up.
If I have several hundred drawings, For example;
Drawing1.dwg
Drawing2.dwg
Drawing3.dwg
..etc..
and several hundred Xrefs;
XCdrg1.dwg
XCdrg2.dwg
XCdrg3.dwg
..etc...
Now, I need to do the following;
attach XCdrg1.dwg to Drawing1.dwg
attach XCdrg2.dwg to Drawing2.dwg
attach XCdrg3.dwg to Drawing3.dwg
..etc...
What is the quickest method? Script? (I have approximately 800 drawings and 800 xrefs and for CAD management reasons they need to be individual drawing files)
I have been sent some drawings with came in 2 zip files. 1 zip contains the floorplans. the other contains the sheets.
if i load the sheet, it will tell me the drawing is missing in a pop up box with a status of "not found". i f i try to attach it nothing happens.
I have a main drawing that I want to pull into another drawing as an XRef. When I try and attach the drawing as an attachment I get then message *Invalid* in the command line.
I have taken the drawings off the network and put them directly on my computer to make sure that it is not a network issue, but I still cannot attach the drawing.
I am trying to attach a group of images to a path and cannot figure out how to do it.I have a bunch of rectangluar images set up in a straight line, some are at diagonal angles and what not.I have tried using the join command, but it always gives me an error when I try it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to attach an identify marker or title to a moving object in Video Studio X4 PRO. I video trains. As the train comes toward me in the video I would like to attach the number of the diesel and type to it and each unit behind it ,if there are any. As it comes closer the marker gets bigger and more readable then, as the diesel disappears from view it's marker goes with it and the next one does the same thing, then the next.
For example, during NASCAR races an identifying marker, showing the drivers name and car number, is applied on screen and stay "attached" to the car as it travels through traffic around the raceway until it's turned off.
I don't know if it will look good or not but I would like to try it. Is that possible or have I gone way beyond VS x4 pro's capability?
How do I attach text to a balloon? For example, I want to add the text "2X" alongside the balloon to denote that there are 2 instances of this part.
I can't believe that you need to make a text box each and every time you need to do this! There has to be a simpler way.
Show me a very simple code-example, how to attach an extension dictionary to an AutoCAD Object and add a XRecord?
