i had installed the coreldraw x6 and every thing went right until i open it when the instillation finished , and showed me error 998 !! and i had searched for an answer and i found an answer but didn't work . the answer was : install regcure pro and fix all problem but didn't work ...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to put a client's qr code png on a file I am creating for them. It seems to be a regular png file, but when I try to import or paste in either CD or PP all I get is a black square.
What is strange is I can open this same png with Intraview no problem, I can copy and paste it into Word with no problem, I can open it in Adobe PHotoshop Elements without a problem. I also can open and view it in Windows Live Photo Gallery. It is just in CorelDraw X5 that I am experiencing the problem.
Most imported designs are 100%. I'd like a code that at a push of a button reduced to 10% or any other setting i can change it to. Reason being, we all use different scale modes and sometimes artwork is huge. I need to shrink it down.
Is this possible w/o manually typing in the values?
I need to prepare the artwork for 1000 member cards with the membership number present as a barcode. How can I generate the barcode for each individual card without doing it one by one?

when i install corel draw its gives me an error that your setup file has an error it gives crc error and ask me to ignore or abort when i ignore its continue extraction butt when its extract then on installation its give errrors. i install trail version i download from different sites like from corel or downloadcnet.com but its give me same error when extraction

I'm having an issue with PowerClip I never used to have in X3 (the last version I was able to afford).Basically, some small details in a graphic keep getting irreversibly lost due to PowerClip... I'm tracing over a drawing I scanned, and placing small details inside larger objects to keep my workspace clean. What's going on is, as I get to work on, say adding blends and gradients to a different part of my graphic, the next time I zoom out I notice the details I placed inside a container I wasn't currently working on are suddenly gone; They're not in the wireframe view for either the full image or within the container, and have simply vanished from the container, as though I never even made them. I make sure outlines are always converted to objects before I put them in a container, but I can't imagine it matters..PowerClip is one of my most-used tools and it'll really limit my abilities if I can't rely on it.

Whenever I hit space, paste text or do anything involving fonts I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error folowed by a non-responding dialog with force close.
I have been using X4 for some years now and not sure what has caused this issue, it was fine in the morning and stopped working in the afternoon.
I have SP2 installed and no changes have been made to any settings to cause this.
X4 is the main programme I use here at work and this problem is grinding the place to a halt.
I have just started getting this message when I am using X-5
The message say's CorelDraw has stopped working and then it has the following,

But now when i am opening this file it say "File contains Invalid Object" "IGNORE:ABORT:RETRY"..I chose every option but nothing seems to happen and corel draw gets hanged..I tried importing it..also i tried re installing it but nothing seem to work...
this file is very imp and i have to open it...Wht to do? Also any future precautions, if any?

Upon startup of CorelDraw X4, I get an error message and the debugger opens (macro) and highlights a line of code in the Recent Files macro. I suspect it may be a Windows 7 update since about 15 updates were installed today.
P.S. - resetting workspace by pressing F8 at startup is not an option.

In older version it is correct but in new version something wrong. View 6 Replies View RelatedI came across an interesting problem. I was using PaintShop Pro to import a RAW image from my camera, then export as a TIF for use in CDGS X6. When I tried to import the file into CorelDRAW or PhotoPaint, I got an error message:
(X) Invalid compress data
I could see a thumbnail image in WIndows, and I could open the file in IrfanView. Re-saving the TIF from IrfanView allowed me to open it in CDGS.
I thought the problem was with PSP, and reported the issue to the product team, but then I tried exporting the same TIF from PhotoPaint (from the same RAW image file), and when I tried to re-open the TIF, I got the same error. So PhotoPaint could not read the TIF exported from... PhotoPaint!
Smaller files don't seem to be an issue, but my camera files are in the neighborhood of 5000x3000 pixels, and the TIF files weigh in at around 50MB.
New purchase of X5 Home & Student.
PC - Dual core with 2Gb RAM 300Gb disc space running MS XP Sp3 (ALL Latest updates installed), latest NVidia drivers installed. I have looked at all previous inputs on this problem and carried out installation with Anti-Virus disabled, FIREWALL disabled, disconnected from network etc etc.
On attempting to start any of the package applications the software fails with an A.R.M. error.
I'm having a problem with my Corel x6, every time I try to start the application it stuck for a minute or so on the splash screen and then I get error 1 (Try to restarting your computer and then restarting the program).
