I modified the "Prepress" pdf preset to show crop marks and saved this pdf preset as "Cropmarks". However when I use the "Collect for Output" wizard, the new pdf preset (i.e. "Cropmarks") does not show up as an option in the dropdown.
Is there a way to make it available/show up in the "Collect for Output" wizard?
I get the "Out of Memory" error when I'm trying to collect for output, tired re installing but the same erorr continues
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a file with multiple externally-linked bitmaps. When I chose "Collect for Output" and check "Automatically gather all files associated with this document", it is not including those bitmaps. I had no problems with X3 or X4 with the same sorts of files.

I've created a PDF preset which gives the result I want. Now I want everyone who is doing work for me, using Corel, to have the same settings.
Is there a way to export the preset or is that info stored in a file somewhere so that they can use it too (without me having to tell them all the steps and save it, etc.
I've been using Corel Draw! 8 for years and my favorite tool was the angle of rotation. For example, I would select an object, usually a rectangle that has the point of rotation at end of the narrow rectangle. As I rotated it, I could see how much the angle of rotation in degrees is. Therefore I could type a value in the box and the rectangle would rotate some many degrees. Fast forward to my Corel Draw 12. Now when I click on the same object, the box will display what the angle is in degrees already based on the circular angle startingaat the nine o'clock position. I need it to say ZERO and I can't find the setting to set it at zero
what I am drawing is I rotate a narrow rectange and basically creating a dial face for instruments.
I export many web graphics at the same size so with x6. I thought I would love the presets with x6 however when I set the preset to export like at 700px width it changes and re-sizes the exported graphic to 350px width. It show 700px on the screen when I load the preset however right when I click export or if I place me cursor in the transformation box it changes. I even tried to change it too 1400px hoping it would then change it to 700px but it still changes it to 350px.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was given a CMYK TIF file that has two added spot color channels. CMYK channels are empty. Bringin this into Draw X6 64 bit shows nothing but a white box and when attempting to print separations the print dialog says "nothing selected to print." So I opened the file in Photoshop, deleted the CMY&K channels, saved it as a PSD and imported to Draw which labels it as a Bitmap (Multichannel DeviceN). The two spot colors appear in the document color palette and it displays and appears to separate properly in the print preview.

Can't I make it to display but cannot print and cannot be altered? How come flash can print now?
I have noticed that when i make changes to line widths in a drawing using the outline pen, the printed output does not change until i make at least a change of .005". changing it by less than this only changes it on the display.

I started the Tracing on a Cmyk based template because one day I will use print it to add it to my portfolio! I mean should I add Cmyk colors and them convert them to rgb in order to upload it?

When using the variable data print feature, the images seen in the print preview look correct, but when the page is printed the same data is output in all 4 images. This does not happen every time. I suspect there is something going wrong with the print merge data buffer. I have not been able to reproduce the error. I have created a detailed script to for others to follow when running this job.

Printing a black and white layout to my HP LaserJet 4000 produces an image that appears to be grayscale instead of solid black. In other words, my text, line border I've put around the layout and graphics (for the most part), all appear about 70-80% black instead of SOLID black. Small text doesn't appear to be nearly as sharp because it looks like a halftone instead solid black. On one layout I just printed, the entire thing appears halftoned except for one vector graphic that did print in solid black. Strange. I figured I have something set incorrectly in the software or printer. Has to be the CDR X6 software though because all other programs output just fine.
In one of my print job there is a Box with Fountain fill from blue to gray colour in conical form and also have a power clip contents.
In the first lot we had got no problem in getting correct image reproduction as per our original file thought an EPS.
But later on in second lot after some amendments to this drawing file which later exported to an EPS for CtP service bureau we had got problem in vignette / conical fountain production in grays at its peak tone. There is one conical fountain step is missing leaving the background in up front. It ruined up the whole 2nd print lot. The CtP provider didn't responded properly in this regard.
As we are assured of our testing through importing the EPS to CorelDraw, we changed the CtP service provider in the next lot to avoid any unknown RIP issues. But through CtP plates we have faced the similar problem as seen in the second lot and the job has also been printed which means we have got ruined the 3rd lot completely.
We have also supplied the JPG image preview file to facilitate the CtP service bureau, along with the EPS. They replied the problem is neither easily visible on the RIP preview nor the EPS file shown any issues.

I have saved a file in corel. on the second day, when i want to open the file,is writting: "File Copy Error" TEMP Drive or Output Drive may be Full" Is there any posibility to recover the file. The recovery toolbox can not recover the file.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have created a custom docker and I need to find a way to have the docker refresh when the document.save event is fired. The docker retrieves custom document properties saved within the file and displays the vales in the docker. I have it currently set to update when i switch between documents or when the document is closed, the docker is cleared of all the values. I still , to this day, can not figure out how to refresh automatically after I save a document.

I'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.

Ny work PC probably has 2000 or so fonts on it. I really only use 10 or so on a regular basis. It would be awesome if I could have my own custom font list that I could load, and still be able to get to the complete list somehow if I need it. Maybe something like a folder in the font menu?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm running on a fairly new Dell Studio laptop computer with Windows 7 Pro as the OS.The font was installed using the normal install font directions.
As stated above the font works fine in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word.It shows as installed in Corel Draw font menu but will not print when trying to type, the curser just blinks.
I also have 2 desktop computers running Windows XP Pro OS where the font works perfectly in all programs.
I often toggle between Portrait and Landscape when I begin working out a layout. Is there an easy way to make the Printable Area dotted lines automatically follow suit? My printer's default is already set to "Match Orientation".
Up till now I have been going to File>Print Setup>Preferences>Layout>Portrait or Landscape for each and every toggle!
In X4 I was able to see the names of fill colors in the lower right corner. This information does not appear in X6. Instead, there are only numbers.
How do I get the color names to appear in X6?
I just got a new system installed corel draw fresh, loaded all my gms's , imported workspace , great all work as before all my menus are nice and active...,
However my custom gradients have disappeared..., it took me a while to set up certain gradients and I removed lots of the useless default ones that were there preset in the previously installed corel draw.
I accessed my old hard drive and found the gradient preset file however when I copied and replaced with the old gradient file the gradient data is not there....

is there another location where my old gradients would be saved?
I've been battling with moving tool bars between my CorelX4 PC's. I think I've finally figured out how to do it so far. Export/Import RecordedMacro.bas 'First' and make sure it's the same name on both PC's as importing a new one renumbers the *.bas file. I think this made a difference anyway.
Export/Import Workspace Toolbar next. I found if I imported the workspace first, I couldn't get the new toolbar to work.
Now, if I want to edit the colors of the toolbar as shown below, the current color doesn't show in the editing window, nor do I have any color options.
getting my custom font to work in Corel Draw 11 using Windows 7 OS.
How to get this font to work in their Corel Draw programs. I use this font for 90% of my business so you can see why it's so important that I get it to work with Corel Draw 11 & Windows 7.
I have a custom palette set on two machines. If I save a file on one and then open it on the other, the second machine does not recognize the custom colors and leaves the object blank. I can click on the palette and correct this but can I set it so that the colors will load correctly when I open the files.

Coreldraw can already do what I need using the PageNumbering macro but I have to enter the individual settings for each template every time. I simply want the included PageNumbering macro but with the option to save 5 presets. If possible I would like the option of saving the presets to a file that can be shared with other workstations so I don't have to manually recreate.
