I want to make changes to a jpeg. The image is already in my design.The menu offers the option to open the image in a external editor which at this time is Paint.I would like it to be Corel PhotoPaint.

I have been working on a fairly simple website for a few months now using Website Creator X6. Everything was working well every time I tested the site internally. Now all of a sudden, the program is telling me the NOD file is damaged and that it cannot be recovered. I then get a message directing me to read "recover.txt" in the Website Creator directory for "alternative" ways of recovering the data.
The problem is, "recover.txt" doesn't exist.
I have tried importing the internally published pages to recreate the site, but Creator tells me the pages are "too large."
It also appears that Creator stopped creating backups of the NOD file.
How am I to recover this data so I can publish the site online? How could the NOD file have become corrupted in the first place? (I frequently got messages that the file was corrupted when I loaded it, but Website Creator always recovered it.)
I've been playing with the text styles and my text boxes are getting closer to the format that I want. There easy to read in the preview section. But the spaces between paragraphs looks to big, so I want to reduce it.
Corel Draw has a docker for paragraph formatting where we can place spaces above or below a paragraph.
I have recently purchased Website Creator X5 and am a little challenged on how to set a picture for a web page background. When I insert the image (jpg or gif) as the background, it only shows part of the image. I assume I need to reduce the resolution of the picture down quite a bit to have the complete picture used as the web page background. If that is correct. What resolution do I need to go to? If not correct. How do I make my web page background use the image I want?

If I try any of these options listed under this menu - I drag the box but no dialog box opens as illistrated in the manual (pg 628 for what i'm doing). I've tried utilizing the options on blank pages to make sure it isn't a formatting problem, even uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times. NONE of these options function? Is there a plug-in I need to utilize this?

With all the above the slideshow does not show in browser preview or in website creator's build in preview.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Piccure as external editor for LightRoom 5.2. When trying to open image, I get "Image file -psn_0_S784964 doesn't exist", when my original image has different name. Image name is accepted by Piccure as first command line argument. Looks like LightRoom starts Piccure with wrong arguments.
Could it be that LightRoom starts external editor with different syntax then "/Applications/Piccure/Piccure.app/Contents/MacOS/psplugin /pathToFile/imagefile.tiff". Maybe in some cases it adds more arguments, or corrupts existing path to image?

How can I have my external editor (PS CS4) open my files in their native NEF format and not as a copied PSD or TIFF?
I do not want an edit copy and wish to have the RAW file open in photoshop. I have had this option in thw past, but since installing LR 3 on a new computer can not configure to just open the NEF file in Photoshop.
When I start CorelDraw x6 there cames a message that I must log in for installing the WebsiteCreator. But when i do this I am logged in but nothing more.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt would be really nice if Lightroom could accept a .bat or .cmd file in the Preferences / External Editing dialog entries instead of only accepting executable names (.exe). This would allow to launch an external editor that needs more arguments than a mere filename on the command line.
Another solution would be to allow us to specify command line arguments directly when defining the external editor entry. For example, after specifying the executable, I'd like to have a field allowing to specify the command line arguments like this
-option1 -option2 <filename> (filename being a macro representing the current image filename).
If this field was left empty, then the default argument would be the filename as usual.
This simple feature would greatly enhance the external editing capabilities. For the moment, when I need this feature, I create a .bat file which I convert to an .exe by using a tool like Bat To Exe Converter. Then I specify this exe in the external editor entry. But it would be much more practical to specify the arguments directly in Lightroom.
Is it possible to open a file from an external drive? In the open dialog window I see only references to my internal drive.

I have looked through the options and settings, but can't find the command to change this. (When I go to resample it always displays 480 dpi)
