when ever I enter pedit command, and I move into model space to select polylines to join, my curser/pointer disappears? I can not select any lines because I no longer have the little square box to select lines showing. I have nothing at all. When I move out of model space, my white select arrow reappears?

In 2007, I was able to select multiple polylines before typeing in PEDIT. When I was done with the command, I could then type in PEDIT and L for last and it would select the multiple polylines I had first selected. We just got 2012, and when I do L now it just selects one line. Can I change this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI know this discussion title is a bit murky, but the problem is a bit odd. I have Photoshop CS6 v13.1.2. In this version, I will activate the Select Tool, check Auto-Select: Layer, check Show Transform Controls, and then while using the Select Tool I will drag to create a rectangle to select multiple layers with content within the specified area.
Unfortunately, this action only works when I begin the selection from outside of the canvas area. If started from within the canvas area, no rectangle will appear, it will show me a measurement of my selection size, and then no layers will be selected upon release.
This cannot be working as intended right? I mean multi-select dragging cannot be intended to only work when started outside of the canvas right? Is there some way to fix this issue? Is this a bug? See the images below for more information on this issue.
I remember being able to select anything on the canvas with my Quick Select tool in CS5.5 Photoshop Extended. Recently, making the switch to CC, the Quick Select tool will show my slection as I drag along the canvas, but once I release the mouse, the selection seems to be reduced to the visible pixels. I was intentionally trying to fill the transparent sections with my effects as well.
Mind you, the magic wand will select transparent pixels just fine, but it also adds unintentional sections which is irritating. I should probably also pint out that I already looked into the "lock transparence" option in the layers, but I did not activate anything of the sort.
In general, we can select the objects first and then run a command. I have a problem with this, autocad wont let this in my PC. If i select objects and run a command, autocad wont take the selection and prompts to select objects. I work on PC in a company connected to server, but the problem is only on my PC.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm creating a VB.Net routine which will run the REVCLOUD command. In my application I prompt the user to select a single polyline using:
EntRslt = acDoc.Editor.GetEntity(EntOpts)
Then later I run the REVCLOUD command using:
acDoc.SendStringToExecute("_revcloud Object Poly No ", False, False, True)
Where Poly is the polyline I selected earlier. Of course, the line above doesn't work since "Poly" is interpreted as a string. But I would like to figure out how to pass my VB.Net selected Polyline into the REVCLOUD command.
How I might do this? The REVCLOUD command will not accept the "Previous" selection set so setting the Implied Selectoin does not work. If my Polyline was the Last object in the database I could use the "Last" option, but it isn't.
Is there any way to use the copy command in such a way that the new objects are selected when I'm done copying? Perhaps a LISP of some kind?

It is shown for showing how to use "pedit" but not mention how to draw it. It should be drawn using polyline command.
Is there any easy method to draw it accurately.
The inner shape is at center position of outer shape.
The inner shape should be draw using "rectangle" > "chamber" command. However, don't know how much to chamber. There should be a easy way to do it instead of any calculation.
I've some function in my command which calculating lots of data on dwg file.
I would like to show to user a WinForm with progress value. From the command I'm incrementing value of ProgressBar.
The problem is that my ProgressBar is incrementing to the 100% after done all the job - suddendly.

I am working on a 3d model, and whenever I do a "HIDE" command, everything looks OK, but I can't select anything until I do a regen. This was never a problem in 2005. Some of the drawings I work on are quite intense and using the hide command would definitely work with selecting the proper objects. Why can't I select or find endpoints or centers any more after doing a hide?

I've got five pages, each with a different viewport. Each viewport is the same scale as the previous one however the text size is not.
Mtext was created under the same style.
I distinctly remember back in the day, (~2006), that you would be able to to choose the items you wanted to hatch first, then enter the Hatch command, hit OK, and your objects would be hatched. Simple! Since 2010, you have to enter the Hatch command, then hit Select Objects, then select your objects, then hit Enter, then hit OK, which I find it is less efficient.

If you select an object and then drag it, it moves. This is without initiating the MOVE command and without picking any grips.
as title if I need to select one by one，it will be too slow....Should this function be accompolished by LISP? But I am not familiar with LISP.... the situation is that I have many irregular lines distributed in disorder, and what I want to do is just lengthen these lines "3.5" Meters from the start point of each line.
If I can do this way , then I can join the line to some points correctly in Arcmap.
Is there a setting controlling typed text visibility in the command line when using a leader? In 2004, text would show in the command line as it was typed. Now, to see what I am typing, I have to enter the leader dialogue box.
