I am trying to change some default layer settings. I go to: Toolspace -> Settings tab -> Right click the drawing name -> Edit drawing settings -> Object layers tab. There I can set the default layers that objects are created on. I want to set "General Note Label" and "General Segment Label" to be created on what ever layer is current.

If you go to "Blending Options" in PS and click on "Outer Glow/Inner Glow/Drop Shadow/....etc" You will see that these options have already some colors as default, means Drop shadow has black color as default and inner glow and outer glow has yellow as default.
I wanted to change these default colors to something else. Like I want to change the YELLOW color of outer and inner glow to WHITE color. Is it possible?

May 21, 2012I have been using Paint.net for quite awhile now and like it very much. There is one thing I would like to see, it would make using Paint.net easier. Right now the default setting for saving is PNG. Unfortunately I do not use PNG, the universal setting for just about anything is JPEG. Is there a way to change the default setting from PNG to JPEG? I downloaded and installed the latest versio, 3.5.10 but it made no differense. I have been unable to find anything about this in the drop down menus.

I found out that if I uncheck the "Embed Color profile" it exports correctly with exact color codes as in Corel. However, sometimes I have found out that I have forgotten to uncheck that little box..
So I would prefer to have it unchecked by default. How would I do it?
I opened filters.ini and found the TIFF section, but I don't really understand anything there.

Aug 26, 2013Is there a way to set the default text size when using mtext with an annotative text style?
I have an annotative text style I use for everything. I have the height set to 0 in the style. In MTEXT the height always defaults to 1/4" which I never use. Is there a way to make it default to 1/8" text? It is annoying to have to have to change it every single time I use mtext.
The height is usually the paper text height but sometimes within a viewport the height is the model space height instead of the paper height. I don't know why it is different in some viewports but I would like to have it consistant.

It is set to copy the last size I used but when I need to edit the size, it multiplies what I enter by 8 and turns inches into feet. In other words, I try to resize 6" to 3". May 2, 2012I’m a long time Photoshop user but recently picked up LR4 to try to fine tune my workflow. I’ve noticed that after importing new files (RAW, I haven’t tried with jpg) into my library as I scroll through them (1-up, not in grid) the preview comes up and then after a second or so the WB changes to a much colder image.
Does LR4 initially preview at specific settings and then change to the individual image settings? Even if so, the final images seem very cool and I feel like I have to up the temp more than I should have to. My previous workflow was to sort in Bridge and then use ACR to import to Photoshop. I feel like I did much less tweaking of my WB this way. I feel like I’m starting from square one with LR4.

Sep 19, 2012When I create Mtext with a Bullet list, I want to change the bullet to something of my own choosing, instead of the blakc dot. I've been looking into this before, but couldn't find a solution. Some time back, I received a drawing from someone else. See attachment. It contains a piece of Mtext wich uses an alternative bullet, in this case a hyphen. So it CAN be done. Only thing is, I can't figure out HOW they did it?
