Here i attached the dwg file.
I'm thinking that AutoCAD has no such feature, but I'll ask just to make sure.
What I am doing is mapping points which each have a simple point number label. (asbestos load buried in landfill in case you are curious) There are many points which have the same coordinates (up to 20 points sometimes). So, then I have to drag each label individually until all labels are visible. This take a ridiculous amount of time when you are talking about 1000+ points.
For some reason my drawing had created several duplicates of my grading critera. For example, my drawing has the following critera:
Cut to Surface
Cut to Surface.1
Cut to Surface.2
Cut to Surface.3
Cut to Surface.4
I did not create all these criteria, they just appeared one day. The problem is that I can't seem to be able to delete the duplicate ones. I get an error saying that the criteria "is currently in use, so it can not be deleted". I have deleted all the grading in my file and I still get this error. I have tried RECOVER and AUDIT several times with no luck.
A plugging we use has just updated and loading double menus causing error messages prompting that menu already exists unable to load.
In my cui the menus are loaded in my enterprise as well as my main.
How do I keep the menu with the same name in my enterprise yet unload the one of the same name in my main (where it shouldn’t be) using lisp (I want to Automate this using lisp, since I'm not always in office at the same time as everyone else)?
Where is the command delete duplicate objects in AC2012? In version 2011 it was in express tools. Whether this command is not in version 2012?
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I have three copies of my point groups. I have not inserted any drawings into my current drawing. Just been working with pipe networks. There are three copies of every point group even though only a couple of point groups are being used in this drawing if that matters.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI do know that tere is supposed to be an algorithm in C3D that will recognise when two geometry points are coincident on a profile view...that is, say a profile vertical geometry point happens to occur on a major station (for example).
I have never seen this actually work. When I have this situation, the labels stagger and I get two columns of identical data on my PV.
I know I can remove individual labels bY CTRL+select and eIther erase or turn visibility to false, but I would rather that C3D figured it out for me and removed the duplicate data.

I have problem when I open some dxf format from autocad.
For each line in autocad in coreldraw I have about 10 lines. How to clean drawing?
I have a very old model from one of our previous projects. It was previously rendered with max scan line and had standard materials on it. Now we are updating it for a HD render and updated with mental ray and arch&design material. When doing test renders there have been some very strange results, on closer inspection I have realised the models have been duplicated. They have been duplicated in exactally the same spot and are part of the same element. I’m currently trying to go through each polygon(element) and delete the duplicate but its taking an age. It was a model imported from iges format so the model is very broken up.
Any good method for deleting duplicate surfaces?I have tried xview but selecting the results just seems to select the whole model which ever method I choose.
I see I have some Files with a little notice on top saying 1of2. Now when I click the delete option, it only offer the usual way to delete from catalog or move from disk, but where do I choose to just delete one of the duplicates?
View 5 Replies View RelatedC3D2012. We have a master C3D template that includes a number of point filters (let say 20 of them) and a number of layouts (again, let say 20 of them) to accommodate our two sheet sizes.
Here is the issue that I am running into, when the Plan Production tools use a layout to create plan and profile sheets from the same master template that is used to initially create the file, the whole process will duplicate each point group 150 times for every group (see attached). So, what I ended up with is 20 point groups X 150. In my example, I ended up with 3000 duplicate point groups.
The end result is a file that is somewhat unusable do to the number of point groups. The other issue is now that all of these point groups are in the file you are unable to delete them all at once without "crashing" C3D. So you are left to deleting a handful at time. It is also best if you turn UNDO off while you do it.
I have been able to duplicate this in multiple files; however, from the same master template. As a test I did create separate templates (which are pretty bare bones) for the plan production and all works well. Therefore, there is either an issue with C3D and Plan Production and point groups or it is our template.
I would really like to nail down (as best I can) what is generating the 150 duplicates/ point group name to see if there is a way "around" this.
Currently, I am unable to share the template, but it shouldn't be too difficult to re-create. Take any template, add some point groups to, add a plan and profile sheet to one of the layouts, create a new file from this template, finally create plan and profile sheets from the layout in the very same template.
how to match up certain points. I have imported 2 point clouds and have tried to use the 'align' tool to specify three points from the source object (cloud) and three points from the destination object (cloud). When doing this, it does not properly align them. The point cloud makes it difficult to select the exact point I would like to align, since there may not be a point at that exact location, but close to it. Does AutoCAD require the points in alignment to match up perfectly or is it capable of doing a best fit?
Also, is AutoCAD capable of creating a solid 3D piece from the point cloud? I would like to take all of my points and make a smooth object.

Spec. Illustrator CS5, Windows XP Pro.
By mistake I have imported presets twice and as they are huge in numbers, I would like to know a method to delete those duplicate presets using an easy method.
Note: I don't want to find every duplicate preset one by one and thus asking for a solution to find all the duplicate presets at once and then delete it.

View 2 Replies View Relatedhow I ended up with a shared network drive duplicated under the folders area of Lightroom 3.6. Maybe it was a user error but now my network drive where I have 15,000 pictures appears twice in the folder area and it is constantly updating (since there are quite a few pictures).
How can I delete the duplicated drive? I have "removed" all the folders under the duplicated drive (and made it disappear) but the drive keeps coming back as the synchronization process will add all the folders that exist on that drive.
The two drives with "Volume_1" in the name are actually one shared network drive (I only have one). I actually removed my network drive mapping (N:) to fix the problem but that did not even work; LR still found a duplicate name for the same network drive and started to synchronize (again).

I often need to repeat an action, such as resize an object proportionally from center (using alt+shift) or rotating for example. I get same object resized or rotated in same place and maintaining it´s center.
But when i repeat the action with control or command D on second object, it does not respect it´s center, while it seems to do it from first object´s center, so it moves.
Is there a way to set the center point for repeat or duplicate?
I have a shape in illustrator CS6 that I'm trying to edit. When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.

I jammed too much LiDAR data into my Index file for point cloud data, and now I can not even open it. Even new drawings are trying to open the overall index with everything in it.
What I want to do is just delete the whole thing and start fresh again, but not sure how to do that. If I could open it once I could start deleting stuff from it, but it is too large to even open.
I would like to know what are all the duplicate options we have in Xara 6 since I don't see any duplicate windows?
1. I can right click and drag (But not exact when I want to leave margins between several objects.)
2.Ctrl + k (makes a duplicate object over its self.)
3.Ctrl + alt + d (Makes a copy of the object in a diagonal direction.)
...what I need is something like illustrator were I can copy an obect once and the next copy object I copy using ctrl d is copied in the same direction and spacing as the previous one. (I hope I'm being clear.) How do I do this in Xara? I've been using this software since a few days ago and I already feel very comfortable using it.
