I was using AutoCAD 2009 and it was set up for me. Now I'm using 2012. How do I get the big thick coloured UCS (XYZ) that looks like three arrows back on screen. The one that is on my screen at the moment is the one that looks like three thin stiks (XYZ).

I can't for the life of me get the settings right to draw using pressure, from a thin to think line and back. I played with those settings in Brush dynamics and it will only draw as a round stroke with no thickness variations.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have 2000 objects in my drawing and they all have outline pen widths that are abnormally thick, say 5000 mm. I'm using that method to export additional info with the AI file. Of course, I use Simple Wireframe view model.
Whenever I change an object, X5 takes about 90% CPU for about 8 seconds,and during that time I can't do anything else with Corel Draw.
I suppose it is drawing somewhere and thick lines take too much time.If I change all the objects to Hairline, or I enable Manual refresh, things work smoothly.
Is there anything I could do to prevent X5 from drawing all objects somewhere? I've tried disabling Use Off-screen image, but that doesn't work.
I thought it was Windows Aero, creating taskbar thumbnails, but I suppose that happens only when the thumbnail is actually visible on-screen.
BTW, Corel 11 and Corel 7 don't care about pen thickness...
When i click on a picture, 3 arrows appear on the screen. how can i get rid of this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedNormally I use two monitors, but I'm travelling. Because I last placed the extrude box on my other monitor I can no longer get access to it on the only screen I have left. Normally, as with any window, you could hit Alt+Space and M but....the blasted mini-toolbar takes focus first!! It seems that all the other menus don't have this, only extrude. Is there any way to reset menus when disconnecting? There really should be. I'd say that the program ought to know that there is only one monitor connected and respond accordingly.

Under the direction of the tech support i have reset my Corel Paintshop Prox5 back to factory settings, and now my Windows screen tab for lack of a better word, where you can move the windows screen around with your mouse, the part that has the Minimize,Maximize,Close, at the top, is now off, is there a way to get it back on ?Without it i cant have two screens side by side. One covers the other one up. When reloading i some how turned it off ?

To get them to appear on the screen again I have to hold down the PS logo at the bottom of my screen, which then brings them up as per the image, then click to select an image. This then brings it onto the main screen. But I have to do this with each image individually. How to bring them all up at once? Or how to turn off this feature completely?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just made the jump from CS2 to CS5 where I found Photoshop no longer offers settings for line screen and screen angles for spot color printing. This is a critical feature for me and most others in my industry. Photoshop is the go to program for color separations for garment manufacturers and this is a crippling omission for us. Are there any plans to patch CS5 or to bring this critical feature back in future versions? I have been told by customer & tech support that my only option, while already owning CS2 & CS5, is that I will have to buy CS4 from a third party and go backward. While this may work temporarily, it imposes additional cost, and does not address the long term issue of the removal of these controls. Garment manufacturing is a relatively small, but constant industry among your customer base and Photoshop & Illustrator are our right and left hands.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was successfully shooting tethered using Lightroom 4.3 (PC laptop with Windows 7) and my Canon 5D Mark III, however when I disconnected the cable I was no longer able to see anything on the back of the camera, no image playback, no menu, no live view, nothing. How do I recover the functionality of the camera's back screen. I tried removing the battery for a while, replacing the battery, taking out the memory card. Don't know how to "reset" the camera. Note the top display on the camera and the view finder display work fine, I can change settings with my dials. Was working in Manual Exposure mode, and also tried Aperture Priority. If I reconnect to the laptop I can still work in tethered mode, but after disconnecting the camera back is still dead.
Was I somehow supposed to disconnect the camera from tethered capture before disconnecting the cable?
When I try to select areas in PS CS6 my whole document turns black. As soon as I deselect it comes back in view.Is there something wrong with my setting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have greenscreen footage, where a green screen was put on a window with tracking markers. A person is moving in front of it, so you can see the reflection. If I just key it and put a garbage mask around it, I can get rid of the green and the tracking markers, but how can i get the reflections back now? Cause if I just screen the original desaturated part back on, you can still see the tracking markers.... Is the only way to first paint over the markers and then screen it back on, or is there another way? I'm on Smoke for mac 2012.

I am currently converting my drawing to PDF. However, certain lines on the drawing are showing up bold and thick when converting. I understand that they are appearing and disappearing due to me turning on or off the hide/show lineweights feature. But I would like the lines to be default size. I don't need them thick.

In this particular exercise I was using only lines with modified thickness and 3DFACE once for the bottom.
1. Is it possible to cut the holes in the walls? If yes, how?
2. How to get rid of those annoying red lines (here they are the same as X and Y positive semi-axis)?
3. Where can I find 3DFACE and similar tools using UI? (AutoCAD 2012)
I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
The text inside the viewports in one drawing in paper space shows thickened when zoomed in and is hard to read, and this only happens in one drawing.
What is the setting to change this?
I have Code which creates PDF for the preferred layout using Adobe PDF. But problem is lines in the pdf conversion file is very thick and also the text when we zoom inside. I have done tried all the ways. Done with LWDISPLAY = off, LWT = off.
