AutoCAD Visual LISP / AutoLISP :: Civil 3D Purge Styles In Marco

Is ther a way to purge all civil 3d styles in a macro or lsp. -purgestyles does not seems to work. I have not worked with lsp for a while just getting back into it again.
I have seen this used for purge (vla-purgeall File) and (vla-AuditInfo File T) for audit can we somethging like this with purgestyles or some how echo off the dialog that comes up. seemslike purgng styles should be just as simple a an audit or purge, but is seem more complex.

I have various Button macros with the user input select in them, but in 2014 they dont seem to be working anymore.
they worked in 2013.
It just says invalid selection.

I am trying to "purge on exit" when I close a drawing. I have changed the SAVE commands within the CUI to accomplish a purge on save as well as changed the CLOSE commands in the CUI.
What I want to do is modify the red X close option for the actual window or program close X in the top right corner of the screen.

AutoDesk released the dgnpurge tool a while back but it only applies to 2013 and 2014 and i have 2012. There appears to be a solution dgn purge 2012 on the swamp website, but the attachment is not there and there is some sort of C# code or something beyond my knowledge of autocad.

I would like to use a lisp routine to open all the files in a selected folder, search for a blocks by name, delete them, purge the drawing, save and close.
Is there a routing that can be used to do this?

I'm working up a routine to simplify clearing some space. I've been cruising here and other places piecing together something, but what I have ended up with is a routine that deletes all of the intended information (possibly needing repetition for those hard-to-reach blocks), but also deletes dimensions from the model space.
There are several things our company does which are "non-standard" but we have been at it for a while and I am trying to work with what I was given. Following is the code.

Is there any way to change the colors of the dimensions styles, including dimension lines, extension lines and text to "by layer"
I found a code to change the colors, but only affects the current dimensions in the drawing and the styles do not change.

Attached LISP will toggle the 'Display Plot Styles' for all layout tabs or the current layout tab. In 2010 it would not affect model space.
With 2012, AutoCAD added 'Display Plot Styles' as an option on the model space tab. This routine now affects that tab.
How to make it not change this setting for the model space tab?

I am trying to create an mtext entity using entmake with different text height, text style and underlining. I have a subroutine that works fine. However - I would like to use different text height, text style and underline for the Title Text vs the following lines.

I would like to use the following macro from the LDD 2004 Civil menu (yes, we are still using 2004!): ^C^C^C^P(cd_mnl)(zz_sdsk '(ad_xsutl 2));LDD. The macro is Zoom to Station from the Cross Section pulldown menu. How to use this in a LISP routine, or an equivalent LISP command? (The user won't be supplying the station number. The station number will be extracted from a selection set of objects with attribute blocks with equivalent station numbers.)
Each cross section has an attribute block associated with it, which lists all the details for that section, including station. The macro must be using that block (listed in a database, perhaps?) to find the station in the dwg.

Is there a lisp that will allow me to do a continuous dimension, but will alternate the dimension position from low, high, low and high? If there is no lisp already created, how to create one?

I work at a glass and glazing company and this is how we dimension mullion width and DLO. See typical window dimensioning attachment for window elevation with dimensions.

Is there a way to programatically set a visual style before a drawing actually opens?
We have some huge models and people seem to forget to change their visual styles back to 2D wireframe before saving and exiting drawings. Some models will crash on some workstations when trying to open in a rendered mode.
I found a lisp with a function that looked to set viewport visual styles. But it does not seem to be supported anymore. --> (vla-put-VisualStyle vport 1)

I have a drawing that has hundreds of text styles that do not seem to be used by anything that I cannot purge. I have even deleted everything in the entire drawing, and it still says that the text styles are in use. Is there a way to override the purge since I know that the text is not in use.

We have a problem in our office. In some of our drawings we keep getting a lot of unwanted linetypes and text styles. Nobody is sure where they originated.
We have tried this method in getting rid of them but it doesnt work. [URL]

When I purge a drawing, the text styles are not a selectable option (as if there are no purgeable text styles). if i use (-purge), it will purge the unused text styles. I can also go into the Styles dialog box and delete the styles. It happens in all drawings and nobody else in the dept has the problem. I can't find any settings that would exclude any items from the purge dialog box as well. Autocad 2012? windows 7 64 bit.

Is it possible to execute a certain command based on multiple selections withinin a dcl? for example: two radio colums, one with selections A and B, and a second with selections 1 and 2. is it possible to program commands based on user selections from each column? ex: if A and 1- do a command. A 2- do a different command, etc...
I tried :

I'm trying to find acceptable point values to feed to the vlax-3d-point function for a vla-addmtext function. With vanilla lisp I just provide the point as x y = "7/32" "2-3/8". So I assumed that I could drop a 0 in for the z like: (VLAX-3D-POINT "7/32" "2-3/8" 0).
Then I thought I was going to be tricksy and try (vlax-3D-point (getpoint)) believing that I could pick the point and get what I need to feed the function, but yet again, no deal. The command line gave me:

I use Spell Check regularly and I always check the entire drawing. I would like to add to the Spell macro so that when I pick Spell from the toolbar it goes past the Check Spelling window and begins checking the entire drawing.
I believe I need to insert Alt S into my macro to select Start from the window to begin the check. Is there a character or series of characters that will represent Alt in a macro?

I upgraded from Autocad 2004 to 2012 recently and my lisp file doesnt work anymore.
what it's supposed to do is when looking at the layout tab that you want you can switch to the model space location of the same zoom as the layout tab without messing with the layout zoom.

I need a program that simulate this DOS command: dir /on/b *.dwg >list.txt
it list all dwg files on current open dwg file folder and sort them and finally put them in a text file with list.txt name. something like thistype list.txt)

Is there a command that is the opposite of starting an application to open up a file? Like:
(startapp "PlaySound.exe" (findfile "CuckooClock.wav"))
Instead of starting an application, how to shut all of its instances down. Let’s say I have iTunes and/or Internet Explorer w/ a few tabs open and I can close them down without getting to the application to terminate it the usual way.
Naturally,
(endapp "iTunes.exe") doesn’t work :-))
