AutoCAD .NET :: Load Plugin Within Scope Of A Document

I'm trying to get my plug-in to successfully load its commands only if certain parameters are met like a prefix in the DWG file name. (I know I would have to use GETSYSTEMVARIABLE("DWGNAME") ) I haven't been able to implement a restriction successfully.
Also, is there a way to load a plug-in only within the scope of a document and not the entire AutoCAD executable?
This way, if the user has open document A and it's not a valid document of use of the plug-in, he won't be able to use the commands, but if he loads document B with a valid format (name prefix), the plug-ing will automatically load for the document B instance only. Is this possible?
(Working with AutoCAD 2010 and .net 3.5)

I downloaded/installed the PPA for Gimp 2.9.1. It worked great for the first half dozen 16-bit tiffs.I use a few RAW converters to create these tiff tiles, RawTherapee, UFRAW, and the Sony software supplied with my A700 DSLR, Image Data Converter running through Wine.
At any rate, most of the tiffs I create now cause Gimp to crash when opening new files. I get this message: Plug-in crashed: "file-tiff-load" and Opening '/home/caruso/Desktop/PHOTOS from IDC/DSC06219.tif' failed:
Files created previously continue to open as normal.
I was so thrilled to have succeeded in installing 2.9.1 on my system, but now may have to uninstall it and fall back to 2.8.x.I realize that 2.9.1 is experimental and unstable, but would like to know if this is something simple that can be fixed.

We can save the Ai Document as PDF through :
1. Save As -> PDF
2. File -> Scripts -> SaveDocsAsPDF
But I have a case where I need to save document through my plugin.Can we save the currently open document as a PDF file using the CS6 SDK ?

When working with multiple documents, and I switch from the "current" document to another, is there some way I have to notify my plugin that I have a different document, or does my plugin always ASSUME it is working on the "current" document. I ask this in conjunction with Dictionarys, as when I switch documents, I cannot access what I think is the dictionary for the current document. Is there some type of document-dictionary relationship I am missing ?

With Visibility States there appears to be only 4 options:
Hide for current state.Show for current state.Hide for all statesShow for all states.
I need a 5th option... Do not change visibility when this state is set current.
So, in other words, I'd like to turn objects on or off independently from each other... so lets say I have two sets of objects... I want to toggle on only the 3rd item in set A and only the 5th item set B... but each set would function separately from the other set.

I have to capture live feed from remote camera that I control, but I don't have a scope to calibrate the camera. Is there a hidden scope with the capture tool cause I can't find it.

I've created a pdf file (with illustrator cs3). when I try to open it on photoshop CS3 I receive this message:
"error opening the portable document file (PDF) document. error code = 0X20030055"
I can open this pdf file outside photoshop.no problem openning other pdf files on photoshop.

as of yesterday i have been receiving an alert when i try to move a jpeg into a new photoshop doc stating that my target document has a different depth than my source document and will (which it definiately does) result in lower than expected quality.

I have a project that suddenly won't load. I have 25 versions of it, I save it under a new file name each time in case I need to go back to an older version.
Trouble is most of the versions won't load! Only the very early versions will load. Some of the later version start to load then disappear.
Hardware hasn't changed on the PC, maybe the video drivers have been updated, thats about it.

On debugging looks as if autocad load first dll-A and than load dll-B.

I use logic NP obfuscator and am trying to compile a dll plugin I am wanting to send on the app portathon.
Obviously there is some obfuscating in the acad support files, that I guess mine is bucking with. This is the error message I am getting. I tried to ignore the acad stuff.

So I got the new visual studio 2012 ultimate but cannot find the Autocad plugin template when making new projects even when switching to .NET 4.0..I do have the latest ObjectARX and the API Wizard and the plugin works find on VS 2010 too.

I had IT install our network version of IV 2012. That seemed to install flawlessly. I still have IV 2011 on my machine IV 2011 and will be running it for the time being.
My problem is when I try to get the iProperties I get this error. "Plugin not available or not properly installed. Notify the System Administrator that the installation is incomplete. DTCP"
We tried to repair/reinstall 2011 and then removed it and reinstalled, to no avail. I have not tried 2012 yet, as all our files need to be migrated to 2012.

I'm looking for a way to programmatically check if a dll file is a AutoCAD plug-in, preferably getting the version too.The only thing I can think of is using
System.Reflection.Assembly.ReflectionOnlyLoad()
to load the dll, search thru its references looking for Acad-specific (acdbmgd etc.) get the reference version, compare it to a list....
