AutoCAD LT :: PDF In DWG Printing

I have come across an issue that is sending me into a brain fart. In my drawing I import charts from PDF files using the snapshot tool as technical reference charts. The import works great and show up in the drawing, however when I go to plot the file the PDF chart does not show up.

How do I convert the colour profile of a Lightroom custom printing package from Adobe Prophoto to sRGB before printing? For that matter, how do I save the thing? I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. And without saving them as one finished item, I have no way to convert the colour profile of that item. I can see clearly from the appearance of the print preview that the above mentioned colour profile conversion is required.

Just had a major problem trying to print to PDF.I have adobe pro v7 on my machine, I have just tried to print to PDF as I have done a hundred times before. I always print to A3 and them email my the pdf.I have changed nothing since I did this a day ago. Now trhe drawings plot to PDF but they are off the page in the pdf view.
Also why we are on the subject, I have put adobe pro ver 7 on my laptop running win 7 and the PDF printer does not show up in AutoCad, Excel or word. How do I get it to show as I may have to switch to using the laptop untill I get the other prob sorted.

I am running Auto Cad 2012. For some reason that I can't figure out when I try to print the last few jobs, they are are printing too small. For example I setup paperspace for 24 x 18. Blow out the project to fit in the entire space. The printer, which by the way is an HP Designjet T2300, pulls out enough paper but the actual job is smaller. It has happened with a few different projects. If I print to a PDF then print the project from Acrobat...it's fine. I am quite baffled. Never did this before. Everything was fine up until a few days ago.

I am a bit new at 3D drawings, for many years it's been only 2D files used for .dxf purposes. My method is using "3D face" and them "extruding" to the size I want. When I view my layout or model, my 3D objects appear to be solids, but show some transparency. When I preview or print, they only come out as lines. How can I make these objects solid and print them?

I have drawn a genealogy chart in Autocad. I would like to overlay it on an image of an old parchment scroll. I have it done in Autocad 2004, but I can’t print it. When I try to print, it only prints the chart drawing and not the scroll underneath.

I have a question about printing an autocad drawing. Currently I have two drawings on the model tab. I have drawn them both 1:1.
Now I need to print them both out on a same A3 paper, with different scales. The other one will be printed in 1:100 and the other in 1:50.
I have drawn a pretty good amount on autocad but this is my first time printing/plotting so I am asking for pretty specific instructions.

I just found out that the last couple of drawings I have produced/worked on all have incorrect dimensions on them. I have spent a couple hours scouring the internet and cannot find any fixes.
My dimensions all work, and add up to what I am drawing, but when I print the sheet everything is out of scale. I have attached a simple drawing as an example. I drew a 190mm line and printed it 1:100. When I measure the line it comes to just over 4.8mm.

I work for a demolition company and and trying to print off site plans, sent to us by clients (which are drawn in CAD, but sent to us as pdf's), to scale on an A1 printer.
The documents being sent to us are supposedly to scale @A1. I have tried printing both in adobe and bluebeam but both programmes seem to lose accuracy and consistency between drawings.
What is the easiest and cheapest way of measuring, then printing pdfs to an accurate scale.

This is a file that I created by tracing a .PDF file. I completely detached the .PDF file. I x-ref the file into another file in model space and slap some notes on it. I then make a view port in the layout and I see everything perfectly fine. But when I print I only see the notes and not part of the x-ref file.
I thought the .PDF file might have corrupted the file so I copy and pasted the lines into a new file but even then the x-ref does not print. I checked the layers, they are all set to print.

We are having a print server in which HP DJ Z6200 printer is attached and shared. Nearly 200 users (with Win 7 64bit) are using this plotter. There are few other HP plotters also attached on this print server.
While trying to print any drawing from this HP DJ Z6200 printer, AutoCAD is showing below mentioned error -
None:This plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the evice can not be found or the device has a problem. The none plot device has been substituted.
After several googling & digging into the AutoCAD forums I have found that we need to create .PC3 file for this plotter. But while trying to do so, getting the same error message as mentioned. But from the same system, with any other application (MS Word, Excel, Acrobat), we are able to print on the same plotter. After several tryout, we have managed to create a .PC3 file from an Windows XP system. By copying that .PC3 file to affected system, printing is working fine. But its a work around for us as its very difficult to copy-paste .PC3 file for all the users (around 200 or more from different locations).

I've got a .PDF of a survey attached (not overlayed) to my site plan construct...on a printable layer. In my sheet it shows up. When I print preview it's there. When it comes out of the plotter it's not there. If I print the PDF by itself through Acrobat it prints fine. Is there a bug here?

One of the clients at my work is experiencing difficulty printing using AutoCAD LT 2012. When he prints, only a blank page comes out of the printer. I have tested the printer and I am sure it works properly. It printed both a Windows test page and a color photo with no problems, which is leading me to believe that he has a setting within the program that should be changed.

I would like to print a drawing with its ctb. file to a format that allows me to import it into illustrator without losing the set lineweights in the original Autocad drawing.
I've tried it once using a pdf writer, but when imported into illustrator it reverts to one line weight for all the lines.
Is there a better way of retaining the assigned lineweights (per the embedded ctb file) ?
will printing it as an .eps instead of pdf do? and how does one print to .eps?

I'm used to HP ploters, but our division got a canon last year. I'm not able to plot a 36x48 sheet on this plotter. For some reason, the plotter cuts off the length/width at 36". It's like the plotter is forcing it to cut at 36". When I choose to the paper size, "ARCH E borderless" shows. The plot preview looks fine, but the hard copy is always cut off.

So my pluming layer is on and "no plot" is NOT selected, yet when I plot, it does not show up? It was working fine last week and i don't think has been saved since then. Also, the xref prints on other sheets, except this one so i'm thinking there is a difference in the page setup but I dont see any discrepancies.

I am having an issue printing to scale. When I print my drawings, the scale is about 4" over 100' out of scale (short) All of the settings are correct for plotting. This happens whether we print directly or to a pdf first. I know it is not just the plotter as I have tried three different printers with the same result. Also, I know it is not AutoCad as we are having the same issue printing from Microstation. I

I'm trying to find a setting which allows me to produce pdf copies of AC LT 2014 layouts that do not require rotation to view them in Adobe.
I've searched all through the pdf settings and still I have to rotate the pdf counterclockwise to view it in its correct orientation.
There's a setting which works for MS Office documents in the pdf options section but when this is applied in ACAD it doesn't work and I still have to rotate the view.

We are working on a Map that has all the line and text styles set as we want them displayed. Layout tab 1, 2 and 4 display everything as we need, but as soon as we print or print preview some of the text doesn't print or show up in the preview. However, Layout tab 3 displays everything as well and it prints correctly. Scales on Layout tabs 2,3, and 4 are all set to the same scale. Layout 1 is an overview.
I am using:

Window 7 Professional
Intel(R) Xeon)R) CPU, W3565 @ 3.20GHz

A way to print DWF files using a batch file or with a command line. We use Vault and publish all our DWF's to an external shared network folder. This is a standard feature in Vault but we now would like to reference and print those files from Baan ERP using a script. Is it possible to do this using Design Review?

I have lots of DWG files which I would like to convert to PDF. I guess this is not difficult at all with Scriptpro. However, I would like to know how to: Include in the script file (.SCR) a .CTB file so that the print is made in that way.
Create a Job so that Scriptpro runs once a day over all the .DWG files located in 1 directory. Is all these possible? I can use either Windows XP 32 bit, Windows 7 32bit and Windows 7 64 bit. My version o Autocad Mechanical is 2011.
