I've got an image sequence that uses white on pngs, once they've been made into animated gif the white turns less white and slightly grey, how do i remedy it?
I am trying to save a red and white and black logo to an eps file to use with a vinyl cutter but when it saves it changes it to a greyscale picture and the red color is removed. I tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't work.
i do not know much about color spaces. But I do know that different forms of media require using different colors (RGB, CMYK, all that stuff).
wrong color space or exporting formats.
What do I need to do to get the final video that I exported to look exactly the same (in terms of color) when it's uploaded on YouTube? Strictly just the color, because I understand quality goes down when uploaded to YouTube.
When I convert an RGB psd to CMYK color mode in photoshop everything works normally, but when I save as a TIF and open the file in any application other than Photoshop any white space in the image background is yellow.
Yesterday, I took a number of experimental shots (a red phone cord lying on a white background). The white background (an artists white canvas lying on the floor) was well lit from above using 5600K lights.
The shots were all taken using auto focus, auto exposure, etc and in the view finder everything appeared to be correct, but on later viewing the photos, the white background appears to be grey.
I have attached a sample image to show the grey colour.
especially when using the auto mode when taking the photos.
I am not concerned about the picture quality only the grey background and I did not undertake a WB as I thought that this was part of the auto mode when taking the photo. the shot was taken by half pressing the shutter release butto to ensure that everything was OK then continuing to fully press the button.
I'm trying to remove the blitz shadow from head and body on a white/grey background, with the Lasso tool. The adjustments with Brightness/Contrast in the chosen area works like a charm, however I always get a nasty pixeled or whitelined boarder going constantly around the edited area; no matter if it boarders to a black area (shoulder) or a gray one (wall behind person).
I've tried to edit the primary/secondary color, with no luck. Any way to make this boarder "blend in" to the new brightness area - or to just remove it? The edited area is somewhat identical to the old background, so there is no natural reason to why it should be a constant boarder.
Or is it a better (and easy!) way to remove blitz shadow from a black and white picture?
I've got some insulation that is colored white and no matter what white I use or alter the views still show grey. 2011 didn't have this problem as white-flat looked white on screen.
can I alter the BACKGROUND COLOUR from the Grey to a lighter grey as in P/Shop Album 2.00 which is just what I want..I hate the darker colour as background..I have just purchased the Elements 11.
I can't print with Photoshop (CS6). My printer (HP iP6700D) works correct with every program, except Photoshop. When I choose File>Print, there appears only an error-message. And the command-line turns into grey.
CS6 on imac and canon MG6150 printer. When I print a photo with areas of black the result looks like the black has been solarized and it prints out as a dirty grey with black edges.
I have an image, all black of a ballerina on one layer, with black text on another. I am trying to put a bouquet of red roses at her feet, but it turns shades of grey when I attempt to do that.
I got this weird error on Civil 2012, I have been working with Civil products for a few years now and have never had this happen till today. Other co-workers have had the same problem which only started to occur yesterday.
The Error; Was working on a drawing with multiple layers, surfaces, alignments, assemblies, corridors, and of course point groups. The screen froze for about 2 seconds when I was attempting to hatch an object, after the quick freeze all my layers (each assigned different colors) turned on (visible) and changed color to white. Everything on the drawing became inactive except for the save button and the close button. So I saved it and closed the drawing, I had other drawings open at the same time and these were never affected (still had color and could work on them). Since the save button was still working I never lost any work that I had completed but it is still annoying having to close and open the drawing since larger drawings can take a few min to open.
Is this an Autocad issue or is it something with our machines/network?

When modeling in the Inventor environment I prefer to use a custom gradient background. When I create image captures for presentations I prefer the images to maintain a white background.
How do I change the background image to white for an IDW.?? If I go to Tools, Application Options, Colors, Click on Design, Presentation and set the background to 1Color. This works for IPT. IPN. But when click on go to Tools, Application Options, Colors, Click on Drafting, Presentation and set the background to 1 Color I get Gray and there is no white for the IDW.
does not work either as the .Item sub class does not even under the color schemes object. im sure i am passing the wrong color object to the save as bitmap method anyway -
I use Autocad 2013. When I turn on the Sun and Sky Background, the spotlights automatically turns off? This happens every time and the render is awful... Bright windows, no light in the room And the opposite: When I turn off the Sun and Sky Background everything is ok. But the windows are dark....
I have someone using 3DS Max Design. He has a drawing open. I don't know if these problems are related. Sometimes when rotating around the model in viewport, the model will turn white and start expanding slowly. Other times the model will start flashing and won't stop. In either case, he has to exit the program and open the file again. It is an iMac 27" i7, Radeon HD 5750, running Win 7 Pro on Parallels. I have installed all the latest patches for Mac OS, Win 7 and 3DS Max Design.
I have been using After Effects for quite a while now and it is a great tool. But today, I reinstall my PC because of performance issues. And I straight away install After Effects CC. But when I open After Effects, the composition windows is fully white. And when I make a new composition it stays the same.
When I create a new transparent image the image goes straight to layer 1 instead of background. When I save or flatten the image it has a white background instead of a transparent like it should.
I am using a pdf underlay to trace over and whenever the crosshair or pickbox enters a white area it does not shift color to black to remain visible. This leaves me picking randomly trying to guess where the crosshair or pickbox is. If I change the 3dconfig to disable hardware acceleration, the color shifts, but the pdf is whited out. Not to mention the fact that by disabling hardware acceleration, I'm wasting the expensive video card on the machine. Is there a workaround? updated driver? service pack?
I am trying to reduce the Opacity of some white text so that it looks faded. However I want the background that this appears on to be black. The problem is that it changes to grey the lower the Opacity.
I understand that this is because of the black background but can not think how to get around the problem.
I have tried to use Steve Pattersons color grid design tutorial to place a grid over a photo. When I drag my color photo into the new document it turns black & white. What I can try to keep this from occurring? I am using CS6 with Windows 7.
