I have a iLogic rule for saving drawings (dwg) to a pdf file in a designated folder. Everything worked well until this Monday morning. Now I get the message: Error in rule: Save2PDF, in document: 13006-027 propflens-1.dwg Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path What can I do to make it work again? This weekend a windows7 update has occurred. This is the iLogic

I am trying to make a break-out view in an idw. I get the message "Hint Ref is NULL" no matter what I try for section depth etc. Also, I noticed that the view I am trying to break-out is not listed in the browser! Also, one of the section views is not listed either. See attached screen shot.
why a view would not show in the browser and what can the error message "Hint Ref is NULL" mean?
Have some photos of a warehouse fire in Plymouth Indiana. Files were saved as .jpg Can't get them to open.
One message is "Pain't cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file or it's format is not currently supported." Couldn’t display DSC-0023.jpg because a suitable graphics importer could not be found.
I hightlite the table in the viewport than right click to get the menu . Then export it and bring up the export dialog box. It keeps saving the file as a bitmap and not a csv file. I did get it to work once when I exported it the first time as a csv file. Now the second time trying to export it , it is coming up as a bitmap file. What am I doing wrong.
I'm working on a VB.NET program that resizes the current drawing window and creates a bitmap file.
Currently, I can get the window to resize to the correct length and width. However, I'm lost as far as creating a bitmap. I found some code in C# on the Through the Interface site: URL....
Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with C# and can't get the code to work if I try to convert to VB.net.Ultimately, I want to then convert the bmp file to a gif with a transparent background. I know how to convert a bmp to gif, but is it possible to programmatically convert it to a transparent background?
I have set the migration defaults to my part list and the pipes come in as expected but all the structures come in as null? I even went as far as setting every option to my rect junction NF and they still come in as null?
We use a lot of Null Structures but then give them different descriptions. More often than not when I give them a description and then get out of the drawing, the next time I get back in it says "Null Structure" again. How can I keep the description the way I want it?
I know that "the right way" would be to have specific structures made for each of these items, but that doesn't seem to be a priority at my company..
Way back when we first started using INV (R5) we used a bitmap in our titleblock for our company logo. Since then, we have moved to using vault last year and this bitmap is causing major headaches since its original location was no in a library file, but stored in our template file area.
Every time we attempted to add a new IDW to the Vault, Vault would kick it back of course saying a file by that name already exists in Vault. To get around this, we have reworked our titleblocks and have used a DXF file for our logo instead of a bitmap. This works on new IDW's just fine, but editing any previous drawing now causes problems with uploading to vault.
The only way I have found to purge this bitmap from the IDW reference is to start a new IDW and copy the views while inserting the new titleblock.
So, is there a way to clear this reference from the current IDW without having to recreate new drawings?
I have tried to edit the (bad) titleblock and deleted the bitmap out of it, but when trying to then save the file to vault, the vault tree still shows a 3rd party reference which is this bitmap! Copying over the new (good) titleblock does not work either as the IDW keeps the this bitmap reference even though the file does not exist anywhere in the drawing or any of the sketched symbols.
How to get rid of this bitmap reference from our titleblocks without recreating entirely new drawings.
I am currently using this method, creating a 1-bit bitmap from a grayscale "distress" texture bitmap, choosing transparent fill or outline depending on which area i need trasparent and powerclip it in text or other vector object.
Is there a way to achieve the same distress effect with transparency with FILL ? pattern fill maybe? eg can i save in some format this bitmap to use it maybe as a pattern in pattern fill and retain transparency ?
A co-worker tells me when he opens a drawing then minimizes it and then opens a new drawing to fiddle around with, when he closes it and doesn't save and returns to the first drawing, when he runs commands he gets "No Null Object" errors. He can click OK or whatever on the error messages and continue, but they constantly fly in his face.
He's running AutoCAD 2011 Maps 3D x32 on Windows 7 x64.

In AutoCAD for Architecture 2010 I am having problems publishing to a DWF (DWF6 ePlot.pc3) as well as to a PDF (DWG To PDF.pc3). On one machine everything works fine. On another machine it has worked but doesn't now.
I have tried the following:
Repaired AutoCAD for Architecture Reinstalled AutoCAD for Architecture Recreated both .pc3 files Numerous reboots and restarts
The only difference is that the machine it doesn't work on has AutoCAD for Architecture 2009 installed. Both machines are XP64 SP2 with identical hardware.
One of our client facing problems that Autodesk 3ds max 2011-64 bit does not show the option to import “.mov” file as bitmap map in materials and also not render in “.mov” format whereas Autodesk 3ds max 2011-32 bit does.
They had installed only Autodesk 3ds max 2011 64 bit only on their machine and don’t want to install it’s 32 bit version.
When I export my .ai file as a bitmap, Illustrator adds a 1px wide column of blank space on the left side that I keep having to crop off. I can't figure out why. I even deleted everything else from my file except the colored background that takes up 100% of the canvas and is positioned at 0 X & Y... but my 1920px wide file still exports as a 1921px wide bitmap with an empty pixel on the left.
I'm trying to vault of one my parts and it refuses to upload. It's refusing to upload because the part keeps refering to a certain bitmap image. I have removed the reference (from the styles library) to the bitmap image but it's still calling for it to be uploaded!
How can I find out why this part still calls for this bitmap image? Why is it still making reference to it even after I have deleted the style which uses it?
Some of our structure styles for null structures are set to display as a block in profile. When we label these null structures in profile, the label dimension line extends to down to zero, way off the profile view. When I change the style to display the boundary of the null, the label pops back into place, but when I change the style back to a block, it will drop back to zero. I just upgraded to 2014 and this did not occur in 2010-2013. I've upgraded a drawing with existing profiles and also created a new pipe network and the results are the same. What changed in 2014 that would cause this?
I'm using PSP Ult ver. 13.21.20 and have been getting this message for awhile now. I'm not able to associate any jpg or bmp files with PSP. When I right click to "Open With" PSP is not an option and trying manually does nothing. Some pics I can drag in and open. Dbl clk only opens the Instant Viewer.
I have an old 3DSMax file that when I open it in 3DSMax 2011 I get an error saying it can't find a few JPG files needed for some materials. Normally, I would simply go into the material editor and delete the materials that are referencing that file, but I cannot find those materials no matter how hard I search. For example, I used the "Material > Get All Scene Materials" function in the slate editor, and looked at each one's maps rollout--but I could not find the problematic references.
I did find the problematic file references in the "Asset Tracking" dialog and figured I might be able to remove them in there, but alas I was unable to do so. Maybe I don't know the full extent of what the Asset Tracking dialog is for?
Is there a way to remove materials in the scene that are causing those problems? I'm not sure what is causing the error.

I have purchased a model in 3DS format. Along with the model came a bitmap file (containing what looks like a mixture of all materials for the model) and a .mtl file.
how I go about mapping the model using the supplied .mtl file and the bitmap.
Illustrator CS6 can export a bitmap monochrome file (not grayscale)?I have to export this old format file for a client and i have to understand it's possible.
I have a screenshot, which I have cropped to a specific area to show a specific part of a window: a shape with a bitmap fill, or a cropped bitmap whichever way you consider it.
Next I have another screenshot, of exactly the same dimensions, showing the same window - but showing that window in a different state.
Both screenshots are bitmaps in my document, both appear in the Bitmap Gallery.
I'm not sure if something changed in recent versions of Xara, or I have forgotten the drag+key combination, but how can I drag the second bitmap onto a copy of the first bitmap-filled shape so that the SAME part of the bitmap is shown?
Using different combinations of SHIFT and CTRL I seem to be able to replace all instances of the first bitmap with the second: It is scary that a shape with a bitmap fill offscreen or on another page can be changed unwittingly!
Usually when creating a fillet weld it displays a texture of a wavy surface. I can only get a smooth surface. Is there a way to modify weld appearance to what I'm used to?
I'm using Coreldraw X3,operating system, Windows XP Professional version 2002, 1GB of RAM,free space of 4.56GB on C drive, 34.8GB on backup drive, display adapter Radeon X300,HP compaq dc7600 convertibleI'm having a lot of difficulties opening a series of files. I had been working on a laptop for a few months and upon returning to the office I tansfered the files to my desktop to complete thr final revisions. I worked on my desktop for 3wks without no problems and then one day I went to open the files and recieved this message on all of them:"Error reading a bitmap in file"I have since tried numerous methods with no success.
