I want to change my mouse setting as when I am scroll my mouse it zoom in/ zoom out happens but right now scroll is working in inverse direction like when I am scroll foreword it will zoom in and vice versa.

I don't want it highlighting the features automatically. I want it to highlight once I click over a feature. My colleagues and I are very distraught by this feature, and will be discontinuing our use of your products that do not allow us to turn this feature off. I'm not sure why you'd want to weed your customer base like this, assuming that I can't turn this option off from the research I've done pouring through the hundreds of complaints related to this issue. I haven't been able to find any posts recently, or regarding Inventor 2013 specificially on this issue, so I was hoping this version had the option of turning it off. Does any of Autodesk's software, such as AutoCAD, have the option of turning it off?

I never use DNG, and am not aware of, and after a lot of searching, cannot find anywhere in the LR4.3 preferences at which I specified DNG conversion. In the Auto0Import dialog there is a File-handling tab that offers one choice: how to spell the dng suffix. The files I want to import will come in as CR2., and testing this with other folder destinations and with Canon's EOS Utility prove that the camera is "sending" CR2 files.
Logitech M305 - 3-button mounse (Left/Right/Center wheel) Center Wheel may be rotated or pressed for 2 separate functions. When rotated, does scrolling, when pressed USED TO PAN. Now, for some reason it's changed to zoom.
How do I change the middle wheel, when pressed from Zoom to pan. I looked within the help desk and there is informaion on Macros and other commands, can't really understand that, but just simply need to get it back to the PAN command.
Is there a way to change the zoom on the mouse wheel? Currently to zoom out I scroll toward myself. I would like it to be the opposite since other programs I use are set up in this fashion. It would be easier if all were the same.

I am having a problem with AutoCAd LT 2014 incorrectly locating mouse clicks with respect to the change page layout arrows. In order to reproduce this error you must have enough page layouts in a drawing to highlight the arrows (bottom left) which change the layout tab. Clicking on the right (or left) arrow several times consecutively will be incorrectly identified by AutoCad as a double click on the 1st page layout visible and will execute the rename feature. However the mouse pointer is not over that layout tab, it is clearly over the right arrow.
Why does AutoCAD read a clicks in this area incorrectly and register them instead nearly 30 pixels to the right.
Any work around as I commonly use the arrows to cycle through pagelayouts in drawings which have 50+ page layouts.
I have also noticed that AutoCAD will preview page layouts when hovering the mouse over the page layout change arrows, this reinforces the belief that AutoCAd is not correctly identifying the mouse position in that area.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs there a way in AutoCAD 2013 to have it automatically change to a certain layer when you do common tasks. I am wondering if there is a system variable, or a routine that I could automatically load when I start AutoCAD to do this. It would also be nice that the layer would then go back to the original layer that was being used prior to the command. What are my options for doing this.
For instance when I load an xref I would like it to go on the layer; A-XREF. When I insert a block I would like it to go on the layer; 0, when I create a new dimension I would like it to go on the A-DIMS layer, when I create a hatch it would set to the layer A-WALL-PATT, when I add a leader with text it would go to A-ANNO-NOTE, etc..
I am wanted to change some setting for editing blocks in 2013. I want to edit the block in place by just double clicking onto it. I can go through the properties and click on "edit in place" but I would like to eliminate that step.

I built some walls and a roof slab using the wall, door, and roof slab tools in the build section of the ribbon. I drew a section plane and activated live section. The walls and roof did not cut away and they do not show up when i use the sectionplanetoblock command.
Is there a setting I need to change to make the walls and roof susceptible to being cut using the sectionplane command?
I am working on 3d model of interior and I have two problems. I am trying to made similar model as it is on the first image.
After setting all render properties and turning on sky and illuminations my view on object switch from isometric to perspective view.
Is there any way to change it to isometric view so the point of view do not change position at the time of changing, because I find out the way to return it to isometric but then the point of view that was placed inside of room is moved outside and I can't render object that was inside.
Also I can't set white background as it is on the first image. Second image is my attempt that is made inside of the room.

I went to EDIT > PREFERENCES > INPUT CONTROLLERS and tried to see where to change this (and I did successfully for the mouse wheel last week) but I couldn't find under MOUSE BUTTONS what would control what command is accessed via the right mouse wheel.

I don't want to suggest anything, but I've read a similar topic (about 3dsMax 9), and the "victim" has been told he has a wrong kind of graphic card, a so-called "gaming card", not a "workstation" one. I might sound as a total noob, and I probably am one, but, all this time I have a PC, I've never heard about two separate kinds of cards, and necessity to having a separate one for playing games and a separate one for designing them sounds really weird to me... But can it be the reason of my problems as well? And if it is indeed, is replacing the graphic card in my laptop sufficient to solve them?
How to change the zoom in and out behaviour of the middle mouse wheel in Windows GIMP to work without having to press the ^ (control) button on the keyboard? After upgrading from CS6 beta to CS6 release this function stopped working (on OS X Lion). The only think that happens when I use both keys (Ctrl+Alt) and move the mouse is moving the whole application/cs6 windows.

My laptop only has a touchpad with a little scroll area on the side, but I can't think of a good reason why this should be any different from a scroll wheel on a real mouse. Unfortunately, though, following the documentation doesn't work.
In fact, as far as I can tell, the input controllers dialog does nothing at all on my system--I've looked at the settings for the all of the 'active controllers,' and none of the current settings there match with the actual behavior of Gimp as far as I can tell. It also worries me that the controller names are so generic--they're listed as 'Main Keyboard' and 'Main Mouse Wheel' rather than mentioning a synaptics touchpad, and my tablet doesn't even seem to be listed.

I am using illustrator for doing some calligraphy and I am not really experienced with this program. I am using a mouse pen with pressure to draw/write calligraphies. My question is, can I change the pressure amount after I drew lines using brush tool. Let’s say I drew a line, it is good but still not satisfactory. I have 250 layers and want to change the ms setting on all of them. The only way I can find to do this is to go into each layer property and manually change the number. There must be an easier way. I can't find anyway to globally change all of them. Is there a plug in or some way of doing this that I can't find?

One that I haven't found reported on this site is the problem related with the 3D mouse (3D connexion Space Navigator). I've been working with it beautifully with R2012-2013 but now that I started working on Inventor 2014 it stalls and stops working suddenly. It's so bad that I stopped using the 3D mouse entirely.

I uninstalled and re-installed the latest mouse drivers and checked that it's not the device malfunctioning. I also installed the Inventor update available on Autodesk site. No change...
I normally leave my machine on, however if i do shut down. I find on start up that my 3D mouse loses its connection. Clicking on start driver does nothing. I have to resort to unplug/replug the usb for it to be recognized. This is annoying since this means that i lose some of my setting changes.
