I would like to make a seamless mosaic of aerials, however I can't figure out how to turn off the border on each image. (The border which changes color with whatever layer the image is on)
View 4 RepliesSo I have an existing surface set up, and want to show the contours and everything else, but not the outside border. I went to the style settings and set the display exterior and interior borders to "false" and also turned off the "visible" light under the display tab for the border. I even turned off the layer that the border is on (C-TINN-BNDY). But my border still shows.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to tag doors in a drawing. What I want to see is the door size, so I turn on 'width' parameter, and turn visibility off on the border of the text. Change the size of the text to match, easy enough. Now I want to place the text along the open door in the floor plan view, but the tag always jumps to the center of the door frame. Can this be modified to do as I want? is there an alignment parameter I can alter? Perhaps tagging the door family and aligning it in the family editor? Does Revit is capable of doing this. Until then, I have to place the text for each individual door.

Good, I got the file. But it has a border!?
I cannot seems to remove it regardless. I tried selecting the colour white, but the border is still there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI work with use autocad 2012, and am trying to create a pdf of a plane containing several aerial photos. I have set ImageFrame to 0. And I use Export to Pdf from output tab. When it creates pdf, images have a gray border or white, so I can see the connection between them.
I have ensured that there is no space between the images. I export from a layout with rotated UCS. The images are Tiff format.
When I insert aerial photos into Autocadd 2002 or civil 3d 2011 i cannot get the border to disappear. I want them to plot seamlessly without a border or white line between the photos.

I got all the way into editing the sketch of my border defintion...
I know the name of the sketch image I want to delete it's something like "C:Temp12345678.bmp"
So I wanted to use the name to get the image file and set it to a variable. Then run the .Delete() command on that. But it's not working.

I am trying to make a 3-D model from a 2-D sketch I made. I have only worked in 2-D so I'm not sure on how to do that. I have a sketch of heart with two names on the inside. I want to make the heart solid while leaving the inside of the letters open so you can see through the letters. Attached is the sketch I made.

So my co-worker says everytime he opens up a drawing, all of his osnaps are on. He turns them off and reopens the drawing, and they are back on. Before I go down stairs to see what the problem is.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have dragged station offset and multileaders next to each other in the drawing. Everything is set to go on the same layer. I am using named (stb) plot styles. The layer's lineweight is set to .25mm. However, I usually make the leaders be lighter in weight - .13mm. I am using text borders on both of these objects.
I can't get both the text and border to be the same in both objects unless I set everything to Bylayer. Given that I want lightweight leaders, and heavier text, this is unnacceptable.
It seems that the StaOff label style text and border weight in DRAGGED state are controlled by one lineweight setting.
In a multi leader, the text weight is always, apparently, Bylayer, and the text border is controlled by the lineweight set for the leader.

My alignments have been created not under Sites and I am copying them to different Sites as needed. I am copying appropriate profiles along with them - an existing from surface and 1 proposed.
1. Should I copy the Profile Views? - will this create a copy of the profile view directly over the original profile view?
What are the benefits / disadvantages of copying / not copying the profile view along with the profile?

2. How do I turn OFF-ON copies of the alignments and annotation in my Plan View?
If I right-click alignment properties in a Site and set the Object Style to NO DISPLAY - this turns off the alignment, but not the annotation.
If I right-click on the alignment labels, Edit Alignment Labels - I am looking at a complex dialog box with lots of drop downs - a bit lost in here. What about a 1-click setting to NO DISPLAY the layers like I can find for the alignment itself?
Do I need to create/copy a bunch of new Styles? Not sure exactly where to go or start.
Is there any way to turn off Layout Tools Contextual Tab in 2013? I tried the same options that worked for 2013, but it didn't work on 2013.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working in C3D 2011. The end station on my alignment is 163+02. The last major station label is 163+00. The label text overlap. I want to turn off the end label of 163+02. The end station is not checked in my Alignment Style or in the Geometry Points style. I am assuming there is a command in the Settings/Alignment/Commands that is overriding the changes I have made in individual styles. I have found some post concerning this from 2004 but they do not seem to be applicable in 2011.

I save the files with it off, but when I reopen, it's still on. A real pain in the butt when plotting since if I batch plot, all of my contours are off, which eliminates using batch plot entirely. Luckily, I only have 5 figures at the moment, but once we get to design phase I will have many more and require batch plotting.
I'm using civil3d 2013, I have never run into this before with any other versions.

I would like to just shrink an image, but it adds a one pixel border to the image that is lighter in color than all the pixels next to it making it blatantly obvious that its there. how to put a border around a black and white image imported into Illustrator CS2 (for PC). The Tiff images are imported from Photoshop I've been reading some of the previous postings on this subject, but still can't seem to figure it out. I would like the border to just outline the image. Nothing fancy. I would like it to essentially look like what it would if I were to import an image into Powerpoint and just bound it by a box.
