where is the Bridge Modeler for revit and civil3d ?ı look the "labs" links... ı only find empty website page (link deleted or updated)how ,can we  get bridge modeler version 2012 or 2013  ? (when , where....?? ) ı have building design suite 2013 premium but there is no bridge modeler..
I have recently installed Civil 3D 2013 "Gobal - Bridge Modeler "from the Productivity Tools page in subscription centre.
Add-in appeared to installed sucessfully and tab added to Civil 3D ribbon but features do not work. Selecting a bridge type I am given following error message, "Your Evaluation Period has Expired on ...2010".
Software was only purchased relatively recently therefore this should not be the case.
So, just installed the Suite Ultimate version and couldn't find anywhere in Civil 3D 2014 some icon/window to use both... Help file and 'What's New' doesn't even mention the new features.
I am having a terrible time getting the thread modeler to work correctly for an M16x 1.5 thread. I have tried multiple approaches to get the correct thread dimensions output. These are the steps I take:
1) Create hole (I've used both major and minor thread diameters,16mm and 14.376mm)
2) Apply Inventor threads (M16 x 1.5)
3) Select threads from tree using the Add-in thread modeler "Controller"
4) Analyze dimensions finding both cases yield the wrong dimensions.
This add-in would be very useful and a great time saver if it would work correctly.
We recently learned that the AutoCAD Civil 3D R2014 Bridge Module has a license check that results in the utility no longer working after July 1, 2013. This appears to be an installation artifact from when this was an Autodesk Labs project.Â
A replacement version is available for Infrastructure Design Suite – Premium/Ultimate subscribers on subscription center. Note that you’ll need to uninstall the original version before installing the updated build. There are no changes to the core utility itself - just the license date verification.
I'm totally new in Civil 3D. I'm using 3D laser scanner to measure and lately draw 3D "as build" models of tunnels, bridges etc. So now I have 3D model of bridge, which is simply created with layers, 3d faces, boxes etc. - primitive ACAD 3D modelling.
Now I want to create sections on multiple stacions. How to start? Is there any step by step tut with this feature?
I'm trying to figure out how to make a skewed corridor region for a bridge project (just one assembly I need to skew) the rest of the corridor is split into regions, the approach slabs and bridge deck assemblies are at about a 30 degree angle to the alignment.Â
purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop. Â While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash... Â In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.
Whenever I try to open the Brushes panel, the Bridge window pops up. I know that Bridge is a media manager, so I'm not sure why is it opening. I really need to edit the brushes and I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way to disable bridge or another way to open the brushes panel that won't open bridge?
Is there a way of attaching connectivity data to nodes in a network topology? For example, a bridge where two roads cross might be represented by four polylines A, B, C, D with endpoints coinciding where the bridge is. How would you represent the fact that A joins C and B joins D but A does not join B/D and B does not join A/C?
It is a while ago since I used Inventor, so i'm now just practising a bit to get the hang of it.
As a start a cable stayed bridge looked fun. So I made the towers and the roaddeck. But now comes the tricky part, and that are the cables themselves. When I started I just thought I could use the 3D sketsh feature. But as it turns out, that feature is not available in the Assembley environment. I could just make the cables as a Part and then insert them in the assembley, but that is to much work. As you can see from the pictures below the holes I made in the towers to accomodate the cables do not line up with the edge of the roaddeck on which I want to secure them. So the cables make to much angles for me to make the as a part. And besides that, I just think it could be done more easily.Â
Below you can see the images I made of the bridge so far. The first one is an overall image, the second one shows the tower with the holes (if the holes won't work, I can always make something else), and the third image shows the area on which the cables will be attached to the roaddeck.
Can this be done in the Assembley environment?Â
Note: I planned this to be a cable stayed bridge, not a suspension bridge. But tips to make this into a susension bridge are welcome as well.
I think after using a trial for Illustrator in which CS6 bridge was attached I managed to overwrite Bridge CS5. AM I able to use Ps CS5 and Br CS6 together or do I have to look to re-obtaining Br CS5 ?.
I watched the CS4 introductory webcast this morning, and I gathered from it that you don't get Bridge anymore when you buy only one application, like Photoshop.
Can someone shed some light on that? I'm probably wrong on this. When the matter was raised in the webcast, there was a slight, but noisy, car collision in the street here, so I may have missed the context.
It seems that my Bridge has started unstably. I'll give the symptoms and maybe someone can point me in the right direction for repair. My system: Vista Ultimate, Duo CPU, 1.5 & 1.5 GHz, 4G RamBridge v. 2.1.1.9CS3 v. 10.0.1 1. It crashes on a fairly regular basis.2. When an image view has been rotated , (say from landscape to portrait) many times when I go back to Bridge (after closing and restarting) images do not view as originally rotated. But, when I go to rotate them again, they over-rotate. In other words they were in the correct view (portrait) just did not appear that way.3. Many times, after editing an image, the little symbol that indicates that settings were changed, do not appear. These are just examples. Would it be helpful to uninstall and install again?
I am new to Photoshop CS2 having upgraded from 7. My problem is organization. I use photos for everyday work, ( I am a landscape designer), I have portfolio pictures, family pics and creative, personal photos. I would love if someone could direct me to info or a book that deals with using the bridge as an organization tool as I am really having trouble finding a good method for organization so that I can actually find my pics!
When I try to load updates, I am informed that I must close cs5.5 bridge. I then do so. I then try to load but am informed that cs5.5 bridge needs to be closed.
Having been using Photoshop CS5 with Bridge CS5 happily for sometime, we've now purchased InDesign CS6 which has installed Bridge CS6.Can I uninstall the now redundant Bridge CS5Â without upsetting Photoshop?
