Without automation development, what is the procedure to get a digital record of the existing road lane slope?
I recommend the following:
1
Use the OverlayWidenMatchSlope1 rehab subassembly to build a corridor, targeting the existing road surface
2
Make a report using Corridor > Feature Line Report, reporting the Links to get the slope
Am I correct?
how did the person change the colour of the background ?
the background became rainbow-ish !
and the border of the siggyis quite white-ish . how do you do that ?
how do you create this white outline around the character
How do i make borders around my signatures?
Just simple ones, such as a black line. And how do I make more complex ones?
Are there any sites/tuts to explain different borders?
how do i resize renders w/out deforming them?
what is the easiest way to add signature to a lot of photos? i am using photoshop 7.0. i am a novice with photoshop and i will be showing my wife, a beginer, how to this. i know i should creat an action then batch. but i have never done these.
View 1 Replies View Relatedis there some kind of guide to make signatures with ps?
like what brushes and what things do you use to make them? or is it random?
I am trying to make my clans forum signatures and am trying to make a light and shiny metalframe around it.
All I can manage is to make a small one. Off course I can make it larger, but I don't like the way it look. I want one with more shine and bright (real) look.
Capture a bunch of signatures to be later used in PS for creating a collage of a sports team...each photo will have the players signature... I'd like to ideally use my i pad to capture and then move to PS where I can associate each signature with a photo, etc. The trick is to work off a list of names and be able to keep the association as a move it to PS...
File Maker Pro / Go combo will do what I want I think but its quite pricey at $150+40...was hoping some other cheaper way was possible. Obviously need to pay attention to transparency issues..Don't want to have to manually delete white backgrounds once imported, etc.
I need to put a signature on about a hundred photos.. just a small initial on one corner of the photo.
Should I do this one at a time or can I process multiple files in a single action?
I am currently using Photoshop 7.0
I just got downloaded GIMP about 3-4 days ago and I've been having some beginner problems. I can't figure out how to add a black glowing border around the signatures I've made.
For an example : [URL]........

(2 of 4 signatures I've made). I wanted to give each of the 2 a glowing black border or some kind of border like one of these:

Three days ago, I obtained a trial 60 day Class 1 Digital ID from the VeriSign website. But..I am having trouble with it. I use AutoCAD 2004 and would like to be able to digitally sign drawing files. After I installed the digital ID, I signed a test drawing file. When I open the file on this same PC, the digital ID shows as valid. However, when I open the file on a different PC, AutoCAD displays "Digital ID Error. Problem in certification path". How can I sign these drawing files and distribute them to my clients and have the digital IDs show as valid?

Can a field (or something) be inserted into a drawing so that after the drawing has been printed to PDF, digital signatures can be added by the appropriate people/disciplines.
I'm plotting a Township Dimension sheet that has links to corner tie sheets on each section corner. Ideally I'd like to plot this using the "DWG to PDF" plotter and have it saved as a PDF so when it's put on our website you can easily pull up each relevant tie sheet from the links.
If I plot this as a .DWF file the hyperlinks work great. However, I highly doubt too many people can easily open DWF files so I'd like to keep it in a PDF format. Is there any way to plot to PDF using AutoCAD and keep the hyperlinks? I'm starting to think the only way to have hyperlinks in a PDF document is to create them manually using Adobe Acrobat (which would be A LOT of work).
I was asked to create a digital signature for a principal architect, the first thing that comes to mind is scan his signed stamp then insert as a raster image.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am attempting to use the Indiana Spatial Data Portal's 2005 Digital Elevation Model data to create a 3D contour map. The provided ZIP files each include: TIF, TFW, RRD, and AUX. The TFW and AUX files appear to be insignificant metadata. MAPIIMPORT fails to insert the GeoTIFF. You can download it yourself by going here, go to Single FIle Download on the left-hand side, then click anywhere on the map, then click again anywhere on the map. You are given a list of datasets. Download the dataset labeled "2005 IndianaMap Digital Elevation Model."

I'm looking to add the name of the person printing the document as well as the date to any paper copies printed. However, since everythign is stored in Vault, this needs to be done without making any changes to the document that require saving the document.
Ideally this would be automatic(requiring no user input).
I've used both iLogic and built Inventor Addins before.

Is there a way to create realtime updated Digital Copies of drawings? Our File Structure has our base drawings in one folder and our Plot Drawings in another folder.
The reason why I ask this is for lower draftsman Who should not be changing anything in the drawing. The people above me want to create drawings with all the sheets setup on layout tabs in One drawing.
Basically just having our Existing Site/Topography as separate files x-reffed into our Proposed Site.
i recently got into digital painting and i've been looking at tuts everywhere but i cant find any for how to paint folds of cloth, and very few on scenery.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy do artists use Photoshop for their digital art? I have Photoshop CS3, and it does have brushes and stuff, but I don't see why a professional artist would want this program for art rather than PHOTOGRAPH editing. This artist used Photoshop 5 for some of his earlier drawings, and Photoshop 5 which came out in 1997 seemed to create a great end result.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMY QUESTION : MAYA or 3D MAX or BOTH?
I've been playing around with digital film with chromakey lighting and Adobe After FX post production & compositery techniques.
I now what to continue to develope this stylisation with big 3D digital sequences.I'm in at the deep end but a fast learner..I've got a great TRON scenes tutorial kit which uses MAYA and I've got some great 3D models (landscapes, trees, vehicles etc) but they only seem compatible with 3D Max, not Maya...
What are the main objectives of each suite MAYA and MAX 3D? For example why is my TRON template kit MAYA based, not MAX 3D.How do i make my files universal... for example I require a dragon, what model / file format is compatible for both packages?
I've also seen nice animation results with Blender 2.57... Are these file formats compatible with Maya and 3D Max.
I am new to digital painting, and would like to get to know it better. Right now, I want to mimic the style of the attached image. My question is: how do I archive this look? (i.e. what brushes do I use, what tools? Blur? Smudge? etc.) (I am using CS5)
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a pic i took with my dig camera and a "border" for a birthday card that i want to use...the border is perfectly sized for a 4x6 pic...so i shrank the pic to 4x6 and added a new layer and placed the border on top of the pic....then i added a "Happy Birthday" text layer on top...when i saved the pic as a jpg and had it printed, everything was grainy....the words and border were the most obvious but the pic was nothing to write home about....
what should i do (even converting the RAW image to a jpg) to make sure the pic, border, and text come out nice and crisp?
I have Adobe Photoshop 7 and am trying to process my photos from a Canon Powershot A80. This camera does not seem to handle blue skies very well. Every picture I take up close, particularly using artificial light, seems to come out fine. Pictures taken in the daylight under a hazy or semi-hazy blue sky look bad throughout, as you will see in my linked photo.
Many of my photos turn out the same way as my linked photo does. I've tried various tutorials and nothing I adjust makes these photos look "real" again, at least not real in the sense of being clear and crisp.
I have an image which I shot from too far away. As a result, it has very few pixels (less than one million, unfortunately). I'd really like to print it at 8x10, but I'm afraid that might not be doable. I'd be getting about 100dpi, and I'm pretty sure that's not very good.

View 1 Replies View Relatedquestion regarding the quality of a digital picture. If I take a picture in 2048 x 1536, when I open in Photoshop it says 72 dpi. This is my question:
I want to take this picture and use it in a graphic ad that is going to be printed in a final output of 300 dpi. Do I need to change the resolution to 300 dpi? Will this be a true 300dpi image?
i'm speaking of painting with a tablet from scratch using brushes. i need something thorough. i've been looking but can only find concise tutorials that really don't tell me much.
i've sort of hit a road block. smudging colors together isn't getting it done for me anymore.
