How do I move a 360 Panorama Image over to 360 so I can share the panorama? When I download the panorama it downloads as an image strip not a panorama and on the 360 Rendering page I cannot find a way to share the image.
View 4 RepliesI am trying to share documents with outside vendors using the Autodesk Cloud services. I have successfully uploaded files but, out of the six people I have shared the files with, only 3 of them can actually see the files.
My question is this: If I send an invitation to view the shared document to a person whose e-mail address is, "john.smith@HisEmail.com" does John have to use that exact e-mail as his official user name when registering with the Cloud or can he use any user name he wants to?
Is it possible to render Inventor files in the cloud?

The question is; our office is divided between Designers that use the regular AutoCAD edition and our Engineers that would like to use Mechanical (rather than the regular CAD). Are there any conflicts resulting from sharing drawings between the two editions on AutoCAD (regular & Mechanical)?
If so, what would be the optimal method for these two departments to collaborate?
I am new to 3DS Max Design 2014.
I am using a dual Xeon machine with 32 GB Ram and a Nvidia Quadro 4000.
I have a 100 point RCP (point cloud) file loaded into my scene. I have successfully set up a camera and a target path (spline) for it to follow through the scene, but when I go to render the production it takes FOREVER to process. For example, it took it 1 hour to process 2 of 700 frames. That's way too long.
I am trying to save $5000 by using Max instead of buying Pointools (which I have used and it does render these cloud animations much faster). I am just not too sure about the gazillion settings, what thye mean, and if they are applicable to point cloud production rendering.
None of my custom materials are rendering on the cloud. If I render it on REVIT, they come out just fine. Is there something that I need to do to get my materials to show up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just loaded Revit 2014, and then loaded a project file created in Revit 2013. When I try to render a view in the cloud I get an error message that says "The file could not be translated.-1" I have tried this with several projects and get the same error for all.
However if i create a new project in 2014 the render works fine, it only seams to be a problem when I upgrade a project from revit 2012 or 2013.
I am using Revit 2013 and I am rendering in the Cloud and my renderings are not turning out as well as I want them to. I was wondering what the intial settings under the graphics should be? like what shadows I should use? how high the exposure should be? Even when I turn the sun completely off the sun still shows through the windows. My renderings are also showing up grainy.

I have been trying to render my linked files in Cloud. For some reasons the linked files walls are misplaced in the drawing. Please take a look at the attached file.
What I have tried to do to resolve the problem and have not worked:
1.Reloded the links.
2.Created new camera views.
3.Tried to use RVT Link Display Settings and rendered with both 'by host view' and by 'linked view'
4.In proprties; tried to use the different Dicipline Settings.
5.Tried to use the different settings in Manage Links to either attachment/overlay under Reference Type or absolute/relative under Path Type.
I'm using Revit 2014.
I started rendering using 360 cloud a few weeks ago. I've done lots of renders, all working fine until a few days ago.Now when i submit a render to the cloud in Revit 2014, it takes forever to process and then says either"could not complete your request, failed to authenticate" or something similar but with "could not upload file" as well.
I have tried logging out and clearing my browser cache etc but it still wont work.
I'm attempting to render a series of images in the cloud and my plan is to take these images into Photoshop so that I can apply a background from an image I possess.
To do this I need the background to be a plain white background, export as a TIFF or PNG, then add an alpha channel in Photoshop. The problem is that whatever settings I apply in Revit, the cloud rendering always gives me the standard grey / blue horizon background. I have changed the render settings using the render setup, through the view properties, through the graphic display, still no joy....
I run the AutoCAD 2013 student version on Windows 7. I have rather little in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and its countless parameters whose values seem to control the general settings. This is probably the issue of yet another one of those parameters.
Just yesterday as I was drafting on my laptop all of a sudden these annoying constraints started to appear all around. I somehow switched them off but ever since then, whenever two objects share even a point (or a line, for that matter, as this is simply a multitude of points), they seem to be "glued" together at that point - if I select one of the objects and try to move it, scale it, drag the shared point around to model the object ect., the other object (the one it's glued to) is skewed about that particular shared point (or line) so that it keeps being a common element of both. I figured that I have somehow told AutoCAD to regard this as some sort of constraint but how I did it or how to undo it. I tried CONSTRAINTINFER, which was set to 1, and changed it to 0, bu to no effect.
I am drawing a block that containes a number of other blocks which I want to control parametrically. For example. In one block, I have set the diameters of a circle restricted to 10 and 12-mm. I have a second block that also contains the circles which have similar restrictions. I now want to control the diameters of the circles from a single source - similar to shared parameters in Revit. Am I able to share a global parameter between blocks?
Eventually, I want to control a 2D drawing from a table only. Should I be using .Net or AutoLisp for this.
In PSE 11, if I first tag all the people in the picture and subsequently make updates to the picture - all the tags are not carried over to the updated photo. Is there a way I can make this happen automatically without having to retag everyone each time I modify or update a photo?

The great thing about them is that they store up to 5 (in dropbox 8) versions of every file, and to just have a duplicated file (different extension) and upload it every time doesn´t make any sence. So my question is, are bak files for autocad sitll necessary?
I always hated .bak files in my work folder, here at my office everybody always delete them as soon as they see one. I know its better to keep them but its really annoying to have duplicated files in the same folder ALWAYS, you can´t even hide them.
I have 2013 inventor/mechinical a cad did not have enought memory on c: drive added another hard drive E: need to move my files to the e drive. single seat all on this computer.

This doesn't work everytime but 75% of the time.

- What is my need: using orthogonal views create section planes of small portions of a cloud to be scanned.
- What is my problem: When I align a view, the bounding box is not aligned to the same, so this involves a wrong cut plane to create the section
Does cloud have any backups of sync setings? Maybe like settings from back a few weeks or more.

I might be missing somehting completely, but I am reading with Civil 3D 2013 you should be able to clip a Point Cloud, but I am not seeing the clipping panel under the point cloud tab.

It seems goofy that there would be more tools available for the old release - what's the incentive to make the switch? Would you expect they will be available for 2013 sometime soon? I'm not complaining, I really like 2012
View 4 Replies View RelatedSee pic. Top pic is 2013 point cloud properties. bottom pic is 2011 point cloud properties. 2013 has a new 'point cloud adjust' option in properties.
Both drawings have same 'Lidar Classification' Style, but 2013 is all gray. I tried changing some fields inside the properties for 2013 under the point cloud adjust to no avail.
why this is like this and what I need to do to see the different colors for the different classifications.
I am trying to render some images and video of a design I've been working on.
This isn't an absolute necessity, but I would like to have my companys product and logo displayed on the monitor in the design. If you look at the screenshot what I'm trying to describe should come clear.
These images were just dropped into a sketch on the face of these two monitors.
When I go to render, the sketch image does not appear. It just renders the default face color of the part.
Is there something I'm missing?
I am new to AutoCAD and was wondering if there is a quick and easy way to take 2D linework and attach materials to it for rendering. (i.e. I would like to make my 2D elevations look like it has actual siding on it... how cna I do this?)
