I have been using my autocad for a few days now and it appears that the program is not operating properly. I am missing toolbars and ribbons. Is this an issue with the trial version, or is there a registry trick to unhide the ribbons?
View 7 RepliesI never do any in depth changes to my cui. It won't load ribbons or panels because it claims that my cui file is removed, renamed, or missing. It is not, I can specify it in the AutoCAD options (the second picture link). But when I type in cui, It gives me the error message (the first picture link). I've restarted and it does nothing. I've verified that the acad.cuix file is there... and it is (aka not removed, renamed, or missing so the error is bogus) The only strange thing I found though was that when I do a cui load, I can browse to the file, select it, but when I click to load, nothing happens. No hourglass cursor, no hiccup, not anything. If I repeat the same process with a different cui file, it works as it should. View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.
I have sold my colleagues on using a ribbon control (instead of a palette) for our custom commands, but... I am stuck on one last detail.
Here's where I'm at.
Using AU examples:
- I have my beautiful new ribbon loading on startup/initialize (IExtensionApplication.Initialize)
- My dll is registering and everything is working as expect.
However.Many users prefer to un-dock panels from the ribbon and place them on their second monitor, either stacked or horizontal. Once the user exists autocad and restarts the application the panels (from the custom ribbon) return to their native positions. The out-of-box ACAD/ACADE retain their position. How can I get my custom ribbon's source panels to retain their last positions?Â

still got dashboard, palettes, design center and properties but absolutely NO toolbars.
I have just downloaded trial verion of AutoCAD for Mac, onto new Macbook Pro.
The two palettes are there on the screen left hand side, but I cannot find the classic toolbars, which I cannot work without.
When I first time use AutoCAD 2013, my Properties toolbar can be displayed by right-clicking at the pull-down menu at click on the properties. But now I could not find the properties option anymore after right-clicking at the pull-down menu. get back my properties toolbar displayed in my AutoCAD 2013.

My question is, do you get a choice as to which version you install? I have no interest in the extended version and want to try out the standard version only. Don't really want to have to figure out which features are in standard and which in extended.
well I was working on my animation, but the toolbars in the curve editor are gone since yesterday. First I tried the "Load Layout" and "Show Toolbars" function. Then I deleted the 3dsmax.ini and Trackview.ini without result. In the end I reinstalled 3ds Max2012 but nothing changed.

When I now try to run PS6 the trial version popup appears and states trial version expired. I reenter my license number which causes PS6 to work for a few days (if that) then I have to re-do this process. what files I need to remove to prevent this from happening.

Installed Photoshop CC as "try it", trial version but I do not have 3D capabilities and do not have alternate file address for my 3rd party plug-ins as I did in Photoshop CS6. Is this normal for the trial version?

im trying to install the trial version of cs4 extended on adobe but, when i do i get this error, Problems occurred while accessing your file system. Verify that your file system is accessibleand has enough free disk space... i have 440gb free so i dont think thats a problem

When the full version of Adobe Web Premium was bought, I installed it but left the trial version of photoshop on, thinking it will overright the trial version, however I had to upgrade seperately. All other programs work fine but Photoshop is still crashing in the same manner as before.
I had already purchased CS4 (not extended), but did not have the install disk yet. Yesterday, I got my install disk. When I try to install CS4 it fails, even after I removed the extended version. When I follow the steps to correct the installation problem as described in a knowledge base article, the install seems to work, but when I launch the application, it comes up CS4 extended again and, of course, will not accept my purchased serial number. If I could return the software, I would, how to remove this trial software so I can install the one I bought?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a dual monitor setup and I maximize acad2011 on monitor 2 and have my toolbars on monitor 1.
I like to have my toolbars floating, but justified to the side with the 'gap' between the montiors so the tool bars fly out and I can see my email or reference docs or whatever on monitor 1 also. Sadly every time I close and re-open acad my toolbars re-justify to the center of monitor 1. I've tried unlocking and locking but that doesn't work. I am using the 'better', errr, excuse me, 'classic' workspace.
I'm old school trying to learn new school! I love using my custom toolbars and abbreviations from the keyboard for calling my autocad commands. I am in the process of learning the uses of the ribbon. I have always used the acad menu, then loaded "partial" custom menus. Is this still possible using the ribbon? Not sure how to do this. I like keeping the custom stuff separate, because we have 5 users with a standard company menu and I like the idea of always going back to the original menu. I suppose my question is how do I use the ribbon, and continue to use my partials also

If i try to add a new toolbar to a custom toolbar, or to add buttons to an existing one, the changes are not saved when i close the customization window.
