How to access brep from document in autocad?

I am trying to access the material and/or renderstyle for each solid in a multibody part document, but it seems like this is not supported in the API.Is this correct?
If this is correct, why the HasMultipleSolidBodies property?
When I add "Document Settings" to the quick acess toobar it causes Inventor to Crash when I close the active .ipt, idw, etc.

I want to know if I can access elements in the parent document from the Function I attach to the Stage or other element within my animation.i.e. the equivalent of window.parent.document.getElementById
I notice that the function automatically passes 'sym' which I'm guessing is the animation document reference so can I get to sym.parent?
Is there a way to access text boxes in an existing document and replace them with a new value taken from an excel table? I've been able to create new documents from scratch and populate them with excel data, but formating these new documents to look like those we already made is proving more difficult than I thought using just Javascript.
Ideally I'd be able specific an index for each text box and replace them in order as i itterate through the excel(or CSV) document.
I already have a way to pull from the table, another question asked here, but can't figure out the object model to put the new info in a specific place.
Below is what I came up with to create a very rough looking document from scratch:

i have a file with some xref files inserted.
if i work on my computer, nothing happens, but when i try to open in other computers, i have this erros:

Why it happens?
In AutoCad 2000 there was a design center that showed my symbols on the CD. Now I have 2010 and can't acess my symbols on the CD. I can't run the installl on the CD because I don't have admin rights.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI added the Layer group (On / Off Freeze Lock / Unlock and Layer name) to the Quick Access Toolbar. I only see the first part name of the layer. Is there a way to stretch this part of the group in the QAT tool bar so I can see the more of the layer name? The partial name and layer color may be a sufficient clue as to the whole layer name over time. Would be nice to see the whole name until then.

Instance 1. I have lost the Quick Access Toolbar located above the ribbon to the of the right of the application menu button. I can no longer save a drawing and no longer undo or redo any commands that I need to edit while creating a drawing.
Instance 2. I created a drawing saved it and then later came back to it. Went to Veiw tab then clicked the Tile Vertically button. My drawing on one half of the screen and a blank one on the other half. I X out of the screen and started the drawing once again and the drawing area is now labled Drawing1.dwg with a blue square border around the drawing area. With no split screen. I would like to get back to the original drawing area without the blue border going around it titled Drawing1.dwg. I was trying to use the move command to get my drawing into the empty space next to it.
I have configured a client workspace with a customised quick access toolbar and I am using acaddoc.lsp to ensure it is loaded when ACAD is fired up, the problem is, despite forcing the GUI to change wksps by:

I can see the swap happening but the quick access bar is missing. If I manually select the current wksp from the switching tool it appears I don't even need to change to a different wksp and on restart it remains visible, it is only occurring on first use.
I try to start msaccess in runtime mode, but an .accdr will not start.this is the code try to use, without /runtime in the code the .mdb and .accdb works great

I just installed Autocad 2012 on my computer 32 bit, but when I try to open it, a message come out:
"ERRORE IRREVERSIBILE: unhandled access violation reading 0x000a Exception at b9e8f50h", and I can't open it.
I tried to delete and install it again, but it doesn't work.
PS: the numbers and words underlined change every time I open autocad (fo example: 5ecf8f50h, bad8f50h) , but the previous message is always the same
I am trying to add an excel document to a cad drawing using ole. I wish to make it transparent so that only the cells themselves are visible and not the white background and empty cells. (I hope that makes sense).

My company is building a template library, and I want to fill in the .DWG document properties by extracting the information from a the block attributes
For example we need the following document properties (TITLE, SUBJECT, and KEYWORD) to be filled in from the same block attributes (TITLE, SUBJECT, and KEYWORD). The template we have now has this information manually input, but we would like to "automate" it on the .DWG document properties.
How do we do this, use a macro or is there some other way to do this automatically?
There are specific files in which will cause this fatal error to come up:

im a little puzzled about this one - it seems i cannot access the PLOTTERMANAGER with the version of autoCAD i am running.
Ive tried the 3 methods listed - and all 3 methods just take me to an explorer window where the .PC3 files are stored.
